Re: Review: Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian (Switch) - Moving Forward By Looking Back

Sorry, my grammar is pretty bad. It's also just my opinion, but:

When plotting a histogram I bet the mean value will be around 8.0 (meaning the average quality of a video game that is tested here). This leaves us with only 5 categories (8 and two higher and two lower scores, except outliers that run with 3 frames). My conclusion what the rating really means to me when I consider buying a game:

6 (boring junk, not worth it)
7 (ok, but seriously flawed, avoid),
8 (every other average game, not bad, not good, only buy if really interested),
9 (pretty good, but only if it's not a first party Nintendo game, then it would be at max a 8/10)
10 (Masterpiece with new revolutionary Ideas and perfect gameplay. The last 10 was OG Breath of the wild).

Ratings of 1 to 5 are completely useless. Considering a mean of 8, when this 8 would be the new 5 or at least a 6 or 7, the rating would be way more balanced. For really bad, unplayable games there could be a "no score" option or something.
