The boxed versions of the game will come in two options: Standard and Collector's. The standard edition comes in at €37.99 and will include the game, a slipcase, and a 50+ page manual. All patches applied to the game will be ready and waiting on the cartridge.
The collector's edition comes with heaps of goodies at €72.99. You'll be getting everything included with the standard edition, plus a Premium CD Soundtrack, prints, and a high-quality jigsaw puzzle. Rather annoyingly, however, the jigsaw will be one of two possible designs, which combine into one huge piece of artwork. These will be available as separate products priced at €17.99 each, so if you want the full set, you'll need to buy both the collector's edition and an additional jigsaw set.
Pre-orders will go live via First Press Games on April 23rd. Early adopters will also bag a unique numbered Collector's Coin, so be sure to be quick if you really want one.

Did baby mario pop into anyone's head when they saw the cover? I hope it wasn't just me LOL.
@Olliemar28 FPG? Oh dear. Well, I look forward to playing the physical copy in 2028, lol. They're almost as bad about delivering product as Dispatch Games. My preorder for triple set #2 from 2019 was scheduled to ship in 2020, and then 2021, and now July 2022...or maybe later.
Nice, it looks like a C64 game, will definitely pick this up. The other First Press Games have been great quality - if quite delayed
@Magician Yikes! Sorry to hear that.
Excellent, glad this is finally getting a physical edition, its a great project and real labour of love. Its quite simple and short so $38 feels a little steep, but its a quality game, I want to own it properly and support the devs so this will be the version I get. A proper, thick manual is a very nice inclusion. The deluxe looks awesome for those who REALLY love it (as I know some do!) and have the money/space to display it.
Every time I see any mention of a short run physical Switch game, no matter the company, I see comments about the games taking ages to arrive. I think part of this is these companies are often small passion project/indie companies who can only make the games on affordable margins if they order all 5000 (or whatever) copies at once, so their small print will say that the games are only manufactured once the run is sold out. Another part will be that during the pandemic (and even before that due to crypto mining etc blowing up in 2017 gold rush) there are huge chip shortages and all the biggest companies scoop up carts first (or the memory gets used in iPhones etc).
As an indiedev myself, with 2 Switch games hopefully getting a physical release in the next 18 months or so, theres about 25 "limited run" style companies we can pitch to, and see who offers the best deal. I always make a mental note when I see customer complaints in comments sections, but sadly it seems the same issues affect almost every one of these companies.
As a collector, I'd rather have a hugely delayed physical release than none at all. Perhaps one solution is that anyone who orders a physical version should get a free download code to play in the meantime, and it should be clearer on order pages that the physical release can take a long time to ship depending on various factors outside of the control of the companies. Sadly, people getting upset and asking for refunds just makes the wait longer for the people who hold on, so it needs to be clearer upfront what delays are reasonably possible to expect.
I love this game and am friends with its creator, but First press are another company that take forever to put anything out.
Want it but hesitant. Limited Run is bad enough with turn around times, but some of these other publishers are even worse. As it is, I've been waiting over a year for Strictly Limited's Turrican Anthology to come out, despite originally having a ship date of February/March 2021.
Love this game, I want it.
Be warned, I cannot recommend buying anything from this company. It will take at least 2 years, maybe 3 years until you get anything, if ever.
I am down for this.
It's nice but I already got it physical on Super NES so I'm okay with the digital version on Switch.
I think this game was made in Quebec (Canada), I too would have liked a different physical publisher because 1PG basically takes 1.5 - 2 years. But congrats to the team regardless! Indie games getting physical releases is always a joy to witness.
@Snatcher Same here, I always think of him whenever I see this game.
Well enjoy waiting a couple years so you can grasp a piece of plastic and proudly scream to the heavens "I now have physical ownership!" I suppose..
