Music really feels like it's on the money. Samus Returns (less an issue) and Dread really diluted the excellent run of Metroid music we had in the past. Prime 4, I'm sure, will bring back a top notch OST.

@EarthboundBenjy I've been asking for that since the beginning. I wish it would be integrated in the OS, so you can listen to it while having any other software running.
Also, a WEB version for when I'm at work would be nice.

@Medic_alert Same thing wired, I managed a maximum of 320 Mb/s wired in the Switch 2 dock. Supposedly, the RJ45 network interface in the dock could support 1 Gb/s. But, like always, Nintendo always cheaps out on the network aspect of their hardware.

Still in shock at how poor it performs. Yeah, it's better than the Switch 1 for sure, but even wired in the dock, it is not capping its 1Gb/s capabilities.

But even worse for me; the Switch 2 STILL doesn't support Access point roaming on a mesh network environment. That's baffling. You need to be completely out of range of its current AP for it to connect to the nearest one, causing a network stop in the process. Every other device I own supports this. I was ok with the Switch 1 not doing it, but the Switch 2, in 2025? Come on.

@HaNks It was predicted so hard and people don't get why we were disappointed when it was confirmed.

I'm revisiting this game right now on the Switch 2. Incredible. Another high quality game from Shin'en. I'm surprised how little there is about it online. There's almost no guide at all. A couple of playthroughs. I'm trying to find if there is any secrets, hidden stuff in the game but I cannot find anything.

Highly recommended.

I'm not surprised. I have this hunch store managers are pressured so much to get those in-house brand accessories (Biogenik) attached-rate through the roof, some want that sweet bonus really hard and decide to do schemes like this. Still glad see an official response from Gamestop.

It is really weird. I bought this for a friend back in 2017, from Iam8bit. And they already said there would be no future reprint. It's like this distributor, ZAVVI, found a box of "Hero Of Time" LPs in their wharehouse and went "OOOOOPS". This LP is worth 300+CAD$ right now on Ebay. So 78.76CAD$ (shipping and taxes to Canada) on Zavvi is a steal. I've just pre-ordered one for me. Thanks Nintendo Life for making me aware. But you should be aware that this is no new release. Exact same album as 2017's.

I tried everything; I can't get my pro controllers to update. Tried with different cables, on all 3 usb ports of the dock, even with a usb-c to usb-a adapter on the undocked switch. I guess they are all up to date. weird.

And here I thought paying for online would male these maintenance announces more clear, what gamesservices would be impacted. Sigh.

if baffles me that they never spoke about ANY FORM of network infrastructure enhancements. Not a single time have they ever said that online game play would be improved, or would feature dedicated servers, matchmaking solution.

so, how many ducks do you think I give to those "online features" ? NES games? get lost. Special offers? They can't talk about this just yet...why...why can't you start off with a 30 % off your greatest online game for a couple of days? Smarthphone app for voice chat? no I'm fine. I already have discord.

The only thing that makes sense is the cloud save.....but if you can't afford the online subscription, there is no local way to back up your stuff....

This service is terrible in 2018 and everyone knows it.

Can't wait for those new OS features. As long as it stays snappy as it is.

I just hope that they will confirm dedicated servers for games that requires the paid service. Like MK8, splatoon and smash ultimate. On top of that, the Switch OS needs massive update : Themed menus, at least DM or group chat if no voice chat rooms, the use of the home button blue LED that is on every joyconpro controller, folders (baffling it wasn't there at launch...you did it on the 3DS, you knew people like this feature a lot), cloud saving (confirmed).

This game.....this game I've waited so long to get on switch. I refunded the steam version when I learned it was bound to happen on switch.

Simply put, this is a AAA quality-level game. You like metroidvania genre and a dark but quirky tone à la Tim Burton? Don't hesitate a single second and download this gem. I can't praise this game enough.

somehow, I can't make it work on my switch. OS is 4.0.0, official wii u to GC adapter with both USB connected to the side of the official dock. when I'm in "pair/change order", nothing happens when I hit R+L on any of my 3 official GC controller. someone has an idea?

I don't get why Nintendo couldn't sign something up with Discord to make them developp an app for the switch. Wireless headset would still be a no go but at least, with an integrated mic ( there was one on the wii u gamepad. Why there isn't one on the switch) it would still be a better solution in 2017.

it's a shame really. wanting so much to throw money I them and unable to actually do it. My brother wants a switch badly. I'm trying to get a hand on one but with family and my job, i'm always minutes/hours too late either online or in stores. I hate those situations.

it's kind of a shame that it's not on the Switch too. I'll never say no to a new proper Metroid. But returning to my 3ds is kind of a miss.

how this feature wasn't part of the original release of the system is beyond me. in 2017. It should have come WELL BEFORE freakin screenshot.

I really thought we would get an update about it during E3. well. looks like Q4 2017 at the very least.

@Tibob I did 100% on shovel knight campaing and the hardest thing was the 90min run. and just to realize that this achivement is in specter knight and plague knight campaings as well, not doing it. but the shovel knight one is worth it. you feel great after it haha.

Tried this game on steam. got it refunded when I learned it was heading to a release soon on Switch. can't wait to play this game on the go. I played for an hour only, and it was one of the best hour of gaming in 2017 so far. except maybe BOTW.

I just whish the next MK9 (pretty sure will be on switch to capitalize on the momentum) will not get out soon. I mean, I under-played MK8 because I didn't like the Wii U. I just want a year or 2 to really appreciate the game. Never thought I'd say this, but I kinda wish this game would have another DLC.

I'd rather have average looking but smooth and highly playable game rather than have 16k but drop under 40 fps. take doom (PC) as an example. not the best looking game on the market. but GOD its pleasing to the eye.
