Sigh... surely with enough work and enthusiasm it can be on all current platforms including the 3DS. It doesn't mean it should be on all platforms but I just hate this 'we can't do it' attitude... just be honest!

Now that's an interesting patent! I loved playing Galaxian and Galaga while RIdge Racer loaded. It was the first time I'd played them and they've gone on to be some of my favourite games of all time; Galaga in particular.

Remember when that big sale was on with all the Guild games super cheap? Those were the days!

Really enjoyed Retro City Rampage DX and the graphical style on this looks nice but I'm kind of disappointed VBlank stuck so close to the RCR formula, would be nice to see them branch out.

Looks like it could run on the 3DS never mind the Wii U... really crappy attitude too.

I feel this shouldn't really be here, Nintendolife shouldn't be promoting this sort of thing, why not focus more on speaking with developers? Covering forgotten gems, writing lists, doing polls etc etc... feels like a massive grey area that Nintendolife and its users should stay out of.

I have the SD card handheld one and the audio is waaaay off, like incredibly out of tune and abrasive. Anyone know if its the same case with this?

I wonder how the emulation will compare to the VC, I find NES games on the 3DS XL to look a little blurred, they look strange in motion too, anyone else noticed this?

Yes! These are great! We need some SFIV taunts and winning poses. His Smash Bros. ones are hilarious and actually shockingly accurate.

Nintendo's VC pricing always confuses me. Surely this can't be more than £5.39 in the UK? They can't price them any higher than Ages/Seasons right??

I feel at this point it would be a bonus to have a female Link available in Zelda Wii U but it is not essential. I sure am welcome to the idea.

Love the idea but those edges and the button layout must make this pretty painful to use!

Shame we have to wait for Stella Glow, Mario Tennis looks pretty dull to me and as much as Typoman seems unique I feel there are just too many indie platformers around at the moment.

Back when Red/Blue came out Pokemon was sooo huge, I remember watching Ant and Dec on SMTV Live doing their Pokemon skits which were hilarious.

I also remember at school me and my friends would jump off this high wall and shout the names of Pokemon, sometimes we'd hop over to the edge of wall saying 'P... P...' and then as we jumped we'd shout 'PIKACHU!'... Embarrassing but epic!

I thought it looked different... very interesting.

I wonder how much input Nintendo had with Linkle, I wonder whether we could see this design as a female Link for Zelda Wii U?

Doesn't seem big enough a difference to make it a full priced retail product. They should include Bow Training and have both GC and Wii versions present to make it a bit more tantalizing for those who've already got the cheap as chips Wii version.

Oooh! I for one am excited for this, we need Picross 3D 2 to rear its head sometime soon too.

About time! And why is wireless multiplayer on VC only now a thing!?

Wish the developers such as SquareEnix and Capcom would grace Nintendo with some of their biggest games instead of just lending characters and costumes... sigh! This is a strange sight though, at least with Snake you had Twin Snakes on the GameCube.

It will be interesting to see how the 3DS and Wii versions stack up. I have a feeling they'll review better.

I'm just glad that games like this are still being made and released physically, hurrah for the middle-tier game!

Looks like a hefty book for £30. Loved and still loving the Mega Drive book ROM put out, may check this out but to be honest I don't have much history with the C64 etc

Can't help feeling this is just an elaborate questionnaire for Nintendo so that they can find out more about its customers... saying that, perhaps Nintendo already tracks our game use and creates games that appeal to our needs and likes... creepy.

They could sure make something completely new but would Nintendo really let them? We've had Codename Steam and Splatoon this year and I doubt either have hit the sales of the regular Nintendo franchise.

I would love to see them work on something completely new but I'd also love to see them tackle an existing Nintendo property (that isn't DK or Metroid).

Fantastic game but so so cheap to pick up physically these days, and if you want a digital version you'd probably go for the HD version in 2015 right?

@Lady_rosalina I would agree, but I think it could work and I don't think it's out of the question. They have been blending the handheld and home console worlds together for a good few years now what with the Wii U getting DS games and both 3DS and Wii U getting Xenoblade Chronicles... then we have the NX which could be something slap bang between a home console and a handheld.

That Mario Maker one is great, I wonder if this is a light hint of it coming to the 3DS.

Although 'Not Bad', let's compare this 6/10 to previous Zelda games reviewed by Nintendolife...

If only they could have packed both games into this remaster...

Currently playing through the GBC version, does anyone else find that it gets pretty hard quickly or am I just crap at video games!?
