As another weekend draws to a close it can be nice to catch up with some retro classics and fascinating facts. With Super Mario having its 30th Anniversary this year and The Legend of Zelda due to hit the same landmark in 2016, they seem like good topics.
Once again the Did You Know Gaming? YouTube channel has been collaborating with other video creators to look at these classic IP. First of all one of our old favourites, A+ Start, shows off some Mario glitches covering Super Mario Bros. through to Super Mario 64.
Next up is an Easter eggs video covering the first three home console games from the Zelda franchise; a few of these facts, particularly around the NES games, were new to us.
Videos such as these are always fascinating; we often wonder how a lot of the glitches - in particular - are even discovered. There's nothing that dedicated gamers can't find, it seems.

Never knew about the magic powder on the cucco in Kakariko Village on Link to the Past. Cool
Some of these glitches look very difficult to pull off. Also, never even knew about the Luigi's Mansion one. Have to try it out when I play it again.
Video games are just great:). I love using glitches to beat smb3. The Zelda one was basically just background info and not glitches.
@ThomasBW84 You should report on this Animal Crossing Wii U video too, it's insanely good! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wt1LHFlBO6M
Lol, I didn't know about the Mario bros 2 thing (with the warp-pipe). So you want to be sneaky and go over the pole? This is your punishment!
Also, the Zelda stuff was very interesting. Many things I didn't know.
