@Damo definitely entitled to your own opinion, but be prepared to have it checked if you call a movie like Waterworld great. And I mean this is as light hearted as possible of course! I will continue to enjoy the content you provide us and I thank you for it!

@Damo wow, gonna have to take anytime you use "great" to describe something with a very large grain of salt forever. To each their own, but you can't say that is a great film and be serious. You just cannot.

Waterworld is a dreadful movie, but this should make Fortnite interesting for its player base. My recommendation to those young enough to have never heard of or seen Waterworld: don't bother. Enjoy the theme in the game and forget the movie exists. It'll be 3 hours of your time you will never get back.

No Straight Roads looks pretty cool, definitely interested in how that one turns out. Lots of cool stuff, but that one jumped out to me.

It certainly shows that I was a Sega kid; I was right on 6 of 15. I'll see myself out.

President is a great card game, so I'm considering the download.

This turned out to be quite the debate. Luckily, Outer Worlds is on sale for 50% on PS4 for the Days of Play. I was waiting for switch version, but not now. I'll probably get this on PS4 and spend my weekend completing it. The portability of the switch has lost its appeal for the time being, since I have no where to go with it.

Thanks for getting this review out before the release. There is a 10% discount that expires on the eshop the day this drops. While no online play is a little disappointing, it's not a deal breaker for me. I'm looking forward to a different experience than SoR4 (which I love). Also stoked that the vehicle sections are well done. This is now day one for me. I ended up going PS4 for SoR4, so this one lands on my switch.

I paid less than the price of the Aftermath DLC for the MK11 "premium" edition. There is no way I would consider paying asking price for this add on. I won't even consider it when it's dropped down to peanuts. As much as I enjoyed playing MK11, I'm done with it. This price point is absolutely garbage, and I feel bad for anyone that paid full price for the premium edition. I hope it sells like *****.

@Damo Please have the review out before the 10% discount expires (which is the release day). I'm looking forward to the review, I love SoR4 and the series overall. When I saw this one, the Takeover, it immediately went on my wish list. So I just ask please try to have the review out before the discount expires.

This game has paid DLC available at launch. Not gonna support that sort of nonsense. That's the type of DLC I cannot endorse. Like wtf, just include it with the game and add a couple $ to the price to fool jerks like me. This one was gonna go on the wish list, but now it's never gonna see the light of day on my console. In space, no one can hear me cry about DLC.

Normally I'm not the biggest fan of DLC, but yes, yes, yes I want DLC for SoR4. I'd like a reverse story arc where you fight as the bad guys and the bosses are the SoR good guys.

Would also love to see a Skate that is 10 years older.

Or screw the DLC and just get to work on SoR5!

I'll probably get it, if it gets the 90% off treatment at some point. Could be worth a few laughs at least.

Usually I would never consider a game like this, but this one has my interest. Could it actually be decent? Looking forward to the reviews.

@ReaperExTenebris I bought Dragons Crown Pro & SoR4 on PS4 for $40 (CDN) combined. No way I'm dropping likely $60 (CDN) on this DLC. I bought the premium version for that price! Actually it was less than that on an eshop sale.

Is Aftermath paid DLC? Included for those that already own Premium edition?

@spirit_flame I'd buy a 16-bit College Football USA '97 port on the switch in a heartbeat.

I was surprised at how much I have enjoyed MK11 on the switch. The hair is hilariously bad, but it plays great. Also, the story mode is quite epic. Not what you expect, or get, from most fighting games. If Ash from Evil Dead is added as DLC, I'll fork over money for him.

I have moved on from this game, it was fun and I was entertained. This mode won't bring me back.

This may take a seat on the wait for a sale list. Day one patches should be avoidable, just delay the release.

I just bought Friday the 13th for $15 Canadian. It reminds me waiting for a sale price will give added joy when you end up loving the game. I expect to love SoR4 so I may be disappointed. I think it's wisest for me to wait for a sale on it.

@TheLightSpirit I have been playing all three and I might agree with that statement, that the first is best. Then I play a game of SoR 2 with Skate. I like SoR3 the least, only because I can't do well unless I use Super Skate.

Overall, I have to give the edge to SoR2, I like the boss fights better than the original and Skate is one of my fav video game characters ever.

$64.99 Canadian at launch is too steep. I'll be waiting for Dangerous Driving 2 instead. I'd be willing to spend $35 on Paradise, that's about it.

I am looking forward to this, and glad they incorporated the old school characters. At this point, just gotta hope there's no performance issues on the switch. Looks great, can't wait.

@Razer I disagree entirely. It is far from mediocre. Quite the opposite. Maybe you should play it before giving it that label.

Great review, just can't get past the price point to purchase. I have Samurai Shodown to hold me over and I like a slower paced game of footsies over a fast paced tug of war. Either way, I'm adding this one to the wish list and hoping for a nice sale price.

@Razer Samurai Shodown is a pretty great port imo. It was ported wonderfully.

@Heavyarms55 I don't see the big problem with free to play games. They cost you zero dollars to play, the ones that are obviously pay to win are easily avoidable and only easily manipulated adults and children are suckers for paying for premium skins and unnecessary content. Full priced titles are released consistently incomplete, and others have content hidden behind paywalls and held out for future DLC. This is the big problem in the gaming industry. Free to play is not. But we can agree to disagree. The beautiful thing about gaming in today's age, there's a lot of great stuff to choose from. It's just a shame the big publishers are releasing consistent garbage and expecting everyone to be ok with day one patches and future patches. If the game is free to play, and has problems, I have zero sunken cost and don't feel any obligation to continue playing. There are too many consumers that lie to themselves, and to others, because they dumped full retail price into a title that is broken in one way or another.

@Heavyarms55 there have been some solid free to play games on the switch so far. The free Kirby game was a blast, I still play Asphalt 9 daily and warface has filled my SOCOM void. Those 3 titles are pretty solid. I hated the idea of free to play, until I tried the games. Wouldn't touch fortnite myself, but free to play isn't the devil like everyone is so paranoid about. Microtransactions in fully priced games are.

@CodyMKW I've unlocked a lot of great gear for all classes without spending a dime. I've unlocked some pretty great weapons for the engineer including the AK9 which has high damage and range, and doesn't require premium currency to repair. There's no reason for me to spend a dime in warface, a lot of great stuff is easily unlockable.

@Zeldafan79 Some classics will never die, and thankfully some of my favs are on the NSO service. There's also great collections like the Genesis collection available to buy. There isn't much reason at all to have cart systems, at least not for me. I do appreciate some classics, but I find the new games with classic inspiration even better. Great time to be gamer no matter which way you play!

Nope. Already sold my SNES Mini and I'm giving away my NES mini. Why on earth would I want to buy one that plays carts if I don't even play the ones with full libraries modded onto them?

This game lives up to the SNK standard. Excellent performance on the switch. Loving it so far!

Been waiting for this for a long time. Glad to read the positive review, and I hope they fix the ghosts. Also, bonus points for mentioning Bushido Blade, which could use a 2020 update as well.

I was close to getting the Japanese version, but glad I waited now. Also looking forward to SamSho 2 NGPC that came with the pre-order. I went with the deluxe version and it was 15% off when I pre-ordered so I didn't pay much extra for the add-ons. I'll likely pay for pass two as well.

I like this idea, but what I really love is that you guys used Samurai Shodown screenshots. Looking forward to the review and finally playing the game. Hoping it can be played at midnight!

I am a bit disappointed by Skate not being here, but only a little bit. I am excited for this game, was a huge fan of the series on Genesis. Looking forward to having this one on release, whenever that may be. I am happy the original trio are back, and I like the look of the two new characters.

I have played a few free for all matches and I like it. Definitely forgot I can enjoy CoD type games. Might get into the team stuff, but having a lot of fun in free for all. Not the greatest shooter ever, but worth the high price tag of $0.00. Also doesn't seem to shove purchases in your face. This is the second free to play game I have enjoyed on switch, Asphalt 9 being the first. Nice ways to tide the time in between purchases.

Just four more days and I can play it. Has been preloaded since the day it went on the eshop. From what I've seen, and heard from those with the Japan version, this game performs pretty good. Load times are traumatic, but it runs well.

I am looking forward to this, then eventually KOF15. The Switch fighting game library is starting to pile up and this is a great thing.

Not available on launch, not a complete game. Not worth my money. Sorry, but not gonna support games that are unfinished. There are plenty that do that already.

I have been waiting for Samurai Shodown for a long time. I have the deluxe edition preloaded and ready to go. Also looking forward to Pocket Sho 2, which is also preloaded and ready to go.

@bluedogrulez Big fan of A9 also, but an open world burnout game will beat it hands down. Too many issues with A9 lately, solid game though. I have over 360 hours into it and I'm just now contemplating hanging it up.

From the trailer I watched for Dangerous Driving, I am seriously looking forward to the sequel on the Switch. Maybe I'll still be going strong in A9 by the time it releases, but I'll want to check it out regardless, just as long as the price is right.

Was interested until I watched the trailer. Does not look immersive or interesting enough for me.

Wow, North America cover went straight to the point. Like, directly to the point, no small talk, no "Hey, look at me guys!". I'm torn on this one. I want to vote Japan, but I actually love the all business NA cover. Now pardon me, I'm going to eat some unsalted, unseasoned potato chips.

Yeah the character was a bit of an underwhelming reveal. I don't know much about the Fire Emblem games. However, I got a chance to try out Byleth last weekend at a friend's place and he plays (to me) a lot more fun than the other swordies.

I would purchase if they ever put DLC on sale. Won't hold my breath for that, but I was getting a bit bored of Smash. It at least had me interested in playing and reminded me it's still a fun game. Just a fun game. We should all remember that when the next character is revealed.
