SFL Interactive and Maximum Games have joined forces to announce a new action arcade sports game. It's called Street Power Soccer in North America and Street Power Football elsewhere. It'll be arriving this summer on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
The official PR explains how the game combines "creative style with high-energy action for an over-the-top" arcade video game experience. There is a total of six game modes, tons of customisable options - allowing you to style your team to your liking, "pumped up" music and stages, and ambassadors from around the world.

Dang it, I thought it was American Football.
Looks good to me, but as always I'll wait on reviews. I've been starving for an arcade Footie game and I'm not giving EA a dime (I know Fifa is a sim) until they put NHL on switch.

I hate all these "street" sports games. Give us the real thing. How hard is it to make a football game better than FIFA? Sure they have all the licenses, but is that the only reason no one tries to better their poor and boring gameplay?
Hope they’ve made it authentically like playing Power League/Soccersixes in the UK with horrendous 2 footed tackles and stab threats every few minutes

@Aneira FIFA 20 is not that bad to be honest. Sure there’s a lot of features missing, but it’s also cheaper than the big console version.

Again, you dashed my hopes Nintendo. Where is the American style football game? For me, this is what is keeping the Switch from being a complete console. It has been since 2013(2012 really) since a real American football game has been on a Nintendo console. We used to never need another console besides Nintendo's.

Why all these programmers doing this kind of game think that the people playing urban football are all bizarre trap-rap looking guys and listen that horrible music? Apart of that, nobody plays like that doing all that monkey tricks with the ball, god! is so difficult to do a decent arcade football game?
@biglittlejake Kinda sad how the only decent portable American football game that I got is Madden 13 for the Vita.
