I’m not surprised. Anyone in the video game industry today was influenced by Nintendo to some degree.

Well, Reggie was about “kicking ass and taking names” at his first E3. So who can blame the guy.

I just want to know if it’s going to be compatible with Xbox play anywhere. If so I’ll buy it. I’d be great if I can pick it up where I left off on my PC/Xbox.

@Captain_Toad I am! I had a blast playing this game on my PS2 back in the day. I’m shocked it’s getting a rerelease tho considering no one seems to have remembered it. But I’m definitely happy it is.

Come on Nintendo fans, we have to do what we can to keep 3rd party companies on Nintendo.

I remember I was 7th grade when I picked up my blue 3DS back on launch day. My mom aloud me to miss that day of school to go get it, considering it was the only thing I was talking about for months. Now I'm a freshman in college, wondering where the time has gone (I think most of it went on Animal Crossing).

It's too bad that the joy-cons don't have a proper D-pad for 2D games like this.

Is this problem only in the U.K.? $60 here in the U.S. is the standard price for new games.

Just got my copy of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild for my Wii U!!!

@Moshugan It all depends on the value of the currency. 60 dollars American is the same as say, 70 pounds. I'm pretty sure, but someone currect me if I'm wrong.

I enjoyed miivers quite a lot over the years, and as much as I'm sad to see it go I also understand that it's a part of the past. Besides, I might see a jump in my twitter followers.

I'm really glad that wasn't the final design. But I recently picked up an original phat DS in really good shape, so I still think this stuff is cool.

It's not that the Game Boy Color didn't get much love from modders, the problem is that the screen is so different from all the other Game Boys.

It isn't a permanent price drop, is it? It says right in the tweet that it's "while supplies last". It's great for the holidays, but says nothing for the longevity of the system.

Besides, I already own most of the games that are on it, ether on my 3DS or on my original NES.

@RatKing64 I'm a huge collector of consoles and games, and that's exactly why I'm getting as many Wii U games as possible before I have to hunt for them later on.

I wish it was January already so these rumors would just die.

@Link506 The point of the Switch isn't to be that next gen powerhouse console. It's appeal is in the fact that you can take your console games with you wherever you go, so even if it wasn't more powerful then Wii U, it's not the point. "They're letting 3DS live", that's PR talk, we've heard it before. If the Switch takes off, the 3DS will die a quick, silent death.

@Link506 You are looking at the Switch as a next gen home console, but it's not, It's more of a next generation handheld. However, even though it is about the size of a PS Vita, it is a step up from Wii U despite its small size.

Lol, everyone is wanting the Switch to have 8gb of ram, have at least 6 hours of battery life, and be no more then $300 USD. Not to mention people are still upset about the screen not being 1080p. Seriously, people need to start forming realistic expectations for a system that is primarily a handheld. For me, I'm going to be using it as a handheld mostly, so I'm comparing it to the specs of the 3DS; which is a huge improvement 😊

I'm looking at the Nintendo Switch doing VR in the same way I'm looking at the Wii U using 2 gamepads. Sure it can do it, but it will never be taken advantage of.

Soooo, it's like an HD GameCube that uses cartridges.

This is why when people say it's "basically the Wii U" it drives me crazy. If you think about it, it's nothing like the Wii U.
