Sadly this Kickstarter has missed its stretch goal for the Switch. So if you want to play this game, PC/PS4/XB1 will be your only options at this time.

I used to have the Japanese version of Final Fight, so got to play the SNES version in its uncensored (in SNES terms) glory.

@djtwenty9 Yeah, but only one of them developed by Rockstar North, formerly DMA Design. Only GTA Chinatown Wars on DS had some input from Rockstar North (which was mainly developed by Rockstar Leeds)

This game was FINALLY released in Europe on 10 December 2015.

The butler and maid in-game characters are from Home Alone 2 for the SNES.

Lazy journalism. Sounds more like Nintendo re-licensed the SimCity name for the VC release but chose not to renew their license...

When EA bought Maxis back in 1997 they also bought the Sim world of games. The SimCity name is copyrighted to EA - and not Maxis - on the VC release (look at the bottom of the Health & Safety section of the Operations Guide)

I have a karaoke machine at home, which takes CDs, DVDs, SD cards and USB pen drives, so meh. -.-

Only Wii U Virtual Console games can be played on the Gamepad; not Wii Virtual Console or WiiWare games as you can only play them on the TV.

When I used to run SNESzone (a website dedicated to all things Super Nintendo running from 2000-2003) I was in constant contact with Brad Furminger, a SNES fan and Lead Designer at Silicon Knights (he left the company in 2008). He was the lead designer of Eternal Darkness - one of the best and most thrilling games on the GameCube. It's such a shame they've run themselves into the ground in such a fashion.

The Q-tip/cotton bud and a tiny amount of cleaning fluid is the best way to clean out the pins of your game cartridges, if AVGN is to be believed.

It's not just Nintendo-published titles either - they aren't stocking new EA titles for other formats like Mass Effect 3 or SSX, and won't be stocking FIFA Street or Tiger Woods 2013 either.

Sad state of affairs when a video game retailer isn't getting games in because it can't afford to stock them

But then again, meh, I can buy games online for cheaper

Whatever you do, don't pre-order from Game, they probably won't stock it like The Last Story (I had to order a copy from Amazon)
