@Striker667 okay cool. I’ve only got through 3-3 unlocked and one of the world 4 levels. It gets much more interesting when there’s Hammer Bros and spinnys showing up everywhere.

That’s all well and good, but how do you unlock further levels in the game? Is it just random when you pass a level or does it matter how fast you’re beating the level?

Wow, that’s quite a ways off

So I wasn’t able to get the “download image” to clear from my cellphone so I was banking on the Mario Kart Tour one but that doesn’t register until the 29th even though the event has been in for like 12 days at this point. Guess I’m out of luck

@Hinade that’s a great point. The copy I bought from a shop that imported them, here in Los Angeles, looks exactly like the pic. No pegi, ESRB or Cero rating anywhere on it.

Well actually I don’t think it’s a remake, as much as a port. I’m hoping they integrate the work they did on the canceled GBA port and maybe add some more features.

I played it on Switch at launch, and it wasn’t all that bad. Worst thing was the load in between some screens. Quite playable and enjoyable.

Heck I’m even glad I played at launch since they nerfed the weapons I used.

A GBA port of Shantae, with added features, was in the works back in the day. Maybe there’re working with that for the switch version

A Shantae and Risky’s Revenge two-fer would be a must buy for me

...not to mention, maybe my favorite part of the collectors edition, a cd soundtrack. The music in Shantae games is always stellar.

@SmaggTheSmug yeah, but it’s not like players were just calling the company and getting a dev on the phone. There were dedicated hotlines, that cost extra money per minute, that were manned by someone the payroll whose specific job was to help players through games. This is all pre-internet. Only other options were a magazine or a game guide in the form of a magazine like book.

@rjejr yeah sounds like some other folks answered the questions. I was focused on the house and got a little behind on the town stuff. I barely put my second bridge yesterday and started my first incline today. I end up spending tons of time on the Nook miles+ tasks to get the miles and, until it kinda nerfed this month with the giant water bugs I was doing tarantula island for bells.

@rjejr it’s three extra rooms, then a big upstairs room and lastly a big basement. The last loan is like 2.5 million bells. I just paid mine off this morning and now I can do exterior changes to my house free of charge. Also when you put the basement in your storage raises to 1600 items.
