For me I dabble in a little online battles from time to time. Back in Gen IV is where I got real involved into the competitive aspect of the game. Never could go to any tournaments so I never really bothered with metagame until Wi-Fi was introduced.
I've always enjoyed playing through the games story, building my teams, catching those I liked more, etc. I would never base my in-game team on competitive play. Only after completing the game is when I would start working on breeding and training a couple teams for use online. I do participate in some of the VGC tournaments that appear online, and just play around in Doubles but beyond that I don't battle as much as I use to in Gen IV and V. Now I focus more on finishing the Pokedex and breeding Pokes(not for competitive play).
I'll admit my first impression of Popplio isn't the best, I'll need to see it's final evolution before judging it completely. Yet, I'm loving both Rowlet and Litten. I think I'm favoring the Cat more but I've always kind of favored the Fire starters more(Except for Emboar, horribly slow Glass Cannon and third Fire/Fighting-type in a row). The Sun Legendary looks cool, not real surprised that it's a Lion but I'm really loving the Bat.
#TeamMoon
I don't know, is Pokemon Sun/Moon going to be Gen VII is that what tomorrows direct going to show? I was expecting Pokemon Z, let us see Zygarde's Complete form don't make it exclusive to the anime. How are we gonna get Volcanion in the games if they announce a new generation. It just doesn't seem right to me to have them announce the next generation without wrapping up Gen VI. Plus the fact it's a little early to announce the next generation when we haven't even seen a third installment to the current gen.
I'll probably get all three Pokemon games on VC, I have the extra cash. The one I'll play the most is probably Red or Yellow. I really hope they rerelease Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal on VC, those are games I'd really enjoy playing again.
I'll be getting Pokemon Red for sure. My sister is excited to get Yellow. I'm sure at some point I'll get the other two just to have them on my 3DS. Even though I still have a copy of Blue, it'll just be more convenient for me to have it on my 3DS since I play it so much.
I feel the price is fair, with or without the wireless capabilities. I actually think people should be grateful they added that. They could have easily just put all three on the VC, they're the first Game Boy/Color games to have the ability to use wireless communications on VC.
@Verg Online functionality is honestly impossible on such old games. Their coding wouldn't allow it, the only reason why added wireless communications is because that's not much different from using the link cable just without the cable.
Holy crap, 72% of votes for Zelda Wii U. Not surprised though considering the fact it's the most anticipated game for the console.
I'm definitely excited for Zelda U, TWilight Princess HD as well never played it on Gamecube or Wii. Yet, I did go to Gamestop during their Christmas sale and managed to grab their last copy for the Wii.
@Zenshu There's only so much they can do with an old game. Be thankful that they even listened to fans and added Wireless communications. This is more for nostalgia, or for those that never got the chance to play the original games.
As for the price if it is $10, that's more than except able. Do you even realize how much an original cartridge of the old Pokemon games are? $25-30(each) for games that are nearly 20 years old.
@TyrantrumGaming Unlikely, by that logic all Virtual Console content would be free. $5-10 is how much it'll cost, more than likely they'll be $10 each. Due the rumor of Amazon having it up for Pre-order priced at $9.99 for a Digital Code.
@Adamrio Game Freak changed the coding in the games during Gen III, making only slight tweaks with each Gen, this makes R/B/Y, and S/G/C incompatible. Meaning there's no way they'll add the ability to send them to Pokemon Bank. To explain it more, Pokemon from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald/Leaf Green/Fire Red need to be transferred to Gen IV, than Gen V before going to Pokemon Bank because the coding on the Pokemon needs to be updated. You can't skip generations due to the slight tweaks and changes within the games code.
I realize Zelda would look incredible on the NX, especially if it's hardware is between Xbone and PS4(or on par with PS4). Although they've stated that it's coming to Wii U, it was suppose to come out this year however they decided to delay it to add new things. We've seen gameplay footage that works around the Wii U's gamepad.
I'm really hoping that Nintendo doesn't delay it even more to the point they decide to just put it on the NX. The soul reason why I bought my Wii U in 2013 is because they finally mentioned Zelda U was in the works. Even though I have a few other games like MK8, Smash, Splatoon, and soon I'll be getting Super Mario Maker as well as Xenoblade Chronicles X. The whole point of me having the Wii U was to play Zelda. I'll be pretty crushed to hear Nintendo holding it back even more just to release it on the NX. I have plans to get a PS4 at the start of next year to play games outside of Nintendo, I'll hate to see the NX come out during Holiday 2016 or early 2017 with Zelda U as one of it's launch titles.
Didn't Reggie say what Nintendo thought of VR. That it was fun but not something they could use at the moment but maybe in the future, something along those lines.
No one knows what the NX will be, but there's no stopping people from posting rumors like this. Honestly, can't people just wait until E3 2016 to actually see and hear what the NX will be from Nintendo. No of course not.
Take these rumors with a grain of salt. Seriously "Talking to the right people", give me a break. As if a regular person such as this guy can really manage to get info about a console that Nintendo doesn't even want to reveal yet.
The NX has to be either on par with the PS4 or slightly better, with third party support. However that'll be a dream come true, but chances are it might be at least on par with the Xbone. The thing that really matter's is games, the NX needs to have a decent list of games announced for it during launch or else it faces the same fate as the Wii U. I'm hoping the NX turns out to be a hybrid, Nintendo's handheld is their strong point. I feel if they combined their home console with their handheld they could make up for the market's eye for the Wii U.
Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam are pretty much the only excitement I got from E3 as far as new games go. Super Mario Maker looks amazing the more they show it, slightly disappointed with the release date of Xenoblade Chronicles X but oh well at least were getting it. Despite them stating Zelda Wii U wasn't going to be at E3 it still would have been nice to see something.
I think people are not realizing that Nintendo is moving further and further away from E3, especially in this last couple of years. They have Directs that play throughout the year if they don't show it during their E3 Digital Event then their saving it for a future Direct.
@BattleEnder This game is based in the world of Mario & Luigi, not Paper Mario. By the looks of it some of the Paper Mario world is simply crossing over, so I wouldn't say this is a real Paper Mario game. However I can already tell this is going to be a thousand times better than Sticker Star.
I only wanted three in the first wave Link, Kirby, and Samus. I got both Link and Kirby without any trouble but Samus was quite the obstacle. My mom luckily found the last Samus at a Target. I didn't want to get wrapped up on amiibo collecting after that but of course during Nintendo's direct that showed off Splatoon they announced amiibo's. Since Splatoon was a game that I knew from day one that I wanted it, the amiibo's where a must have. To be honest the amount of content they provide if you do have all three sure gives you a bang for your buck. The most content any amiibo gives to a game.
I decided to try and get the three pack as I really loved the look of the green squid. Gamestop was my first option but got screwed over when they didn't do pre-orders online only in store. Next was Best Buy, I didn't even try to attempt at going there. I wasn't paying attention when Target started their pre-orders and lost out on that chance. Luckily for me I was online when Walmart started their pre-orders, although it probably wouldn't have matter as they lasted for 2 days if I remember correctly before their website started fluctuating between sold-out and available. Either way I got the three pack and I'm done with amiibo's, I don't like the roller coaster ride that you have to endure. The midnight release, the small supply, high demand, the scalpers, etc I don't like any of it. I got the amiibo's I wanted the most so I'm good.
Is it too much to ask to give us the ability to evolve at the starter of the game verses having to wait until we've not only beaten the story but a few side quests as well? Never liked how both my starter and partner were around level 50 before I could actually evolve them.
@ikki5 lol, I just notice that. Someone must have changed their pledge.
They have less then 6k to go with 65 hours left. I'll honestly be surprised if they don't reach $270k. Especially considering they received yet another 10k(possible more then) in just one day. I'm just not sure if it'll reach the second stretch goal they made for $300k that adds more animals and creatures. Either way as long as it reaches $270k at least I'll be happy. I plan to pledge $75(it's only $58 which is great deal for all the extra goodies you get) so that way I can give an extra copy to my friend.
@willford81 I'm sure there will be an option to remove the blood but I can't say about the beheading(perhaps that'll be removed too if you turn it off). Most games give the option to lower gore, raise it, or disable it especially if this get's put on the Wii U.
I found this game out from Yooka-Laylee's kickstarter. It looks wonderful, just the type of game I'd love to play. A little disappointing to hear the Wii U being the only console that needs help receiving it while the other platforms get it right off the bat. So I'm glad to see this game get featured on Nintendolife, that way more people can see it and help it receive more backers to get this game on Wii U.
Just another 10k you guys, we're almost there. With 3 days left I know we'll reach it.
Well it sucks for me, I'll be out of town on the 23rd so I won't be able to play. If only it was in the morning I might have the chance but it's going to be at 2pm CT.
I can't believe there's still so many people that think the NX will be talked about much less shown at E3 this year. Shortly after announcing their next gen console code name NX, that it will not be shown until E3 2016. Which is great if you ask me, they'll show it off then and won't release it until 2017 so that way the Wii U will have a 5 year lifespan just like all the other Nintendo consoles have had. I'm still hoping it's a cross-platform of their home console and handheld.
@Quorthon We only got a trailer for it at E3 2013, with the name Project X and that was it. It wasn't until E3 2014 that they actually talked about it with it's proper title Xenoblade Chronicles X. I'm still hoping for a Summer release in the West so of course it's going to be shown at E3 this year and hopefully this time they'll have a release date.
@Ichiban This article is for Europe, the direct announcing release dates for N64 and DS games was for NA. So yes Paper Mario is coming April 30th, but for Europe probably May.
@Quorthon Nintendo Xenoblade?!?! Code name NX!!! The name of Nintendo's next console confirmed!
On a serious note, there's a reason why XCX is getting so much talk. It's a new franchise that's different from Nintendo's norm of Mairo, Zelda, and Kirby games. It's a fantastic looking RPG and shows the Wii U's potential to those that keep bashing on it.
@DdFixen Well for a completionist there's 300+ hours. Storywise since this is larger than the first Xenoblade game probably 80 hours(60 if you rush) for regular playthrough, and well over 100 if explore, and take on sidequests, etc.
We'll most likely get a release date at E3, hoping still for a summer release, or early fall(Basically July-September).
Unfortunately XCX is not a major title for Nintendo like Mario, Zelda, etc. I don't see them relying on it to be their holiday release, they'll want something else like Star Fox, or Yoshi's Woolly World. Even though JRPG's have grown in popularity here in the west which is why we don't always see them come out of Japan. NoA knows RPG's are enjoyable by a select group no matter how wonderful they are their not gonna rely on this like they do with their major titles, so I'm not doubting they'll try to release it before as a summer/early fall title.
Although imo this is the best game Nintendo will be releasing for 2015. I'm gonna love Splatoon to death, and since Zelda is delayed XCX will most definitely be my GotY
Once pre-orders are available go on GS I'll get it. I can't wait to play this game, with all the Japanese trailers my hype is high. Can't wait to dive into the customization of dolls and explore the world Mira.
I don't care how the graphic's look, downgrade them again it won't bother me. Regardless, this game is going to be amazing. The gameplay is the main reason why I'm getting the game. A huge open world to explore, tons of customization, dolls, even more customization for dolls, giant monster's(some that even make the dolls look tiny) and so much more. The Story is up in the air until we get more info when the Japanese version get's released. I'm expecting either less exciting then the original game or surprisingly better. The Graphic's doesn't matter to me, they could be just a slight improvement from the first game and I'd still play it. IMO graphic's are the last thing I worry about when it comes to a game. Graphic's makes a game "look good" and that's it. It's foolish to buy a game solely for the graphic's, the gameplay and story is what makes a game truly good.
Oh no, a Nintendo game having it's graphics downgraded. We'll I better throw out my Wii U and go buy an Xbone and PS4 cause they have better graphics. Seriously this kind of crap is just giving fanboys of Microsoft and Sony something else to talk about, claiming the Wii U is a terrible console.
Having good graphics certainly makes a game look fantastic, but just because a game has awesome graphics doesn't mean I'll go and buy it. In most cases the game has to much focus on the graphics that either, or both the gameplay and story are lacking. I'm more interested in the story and gameplay of a game, graphics is the last thing I worry about.
I can definitely see the change in both the graphics and lighting. Does this change my view on the game, certainly not. Stuff like this was to be expected especially with a game of this size. The slight downgrade certainly won't make me turn a blind eye towards this game, especially not after seeing the videos they've been releasing in Japan about the game. So much customization, and the dolls are going to be so much fun. Plus it's is still going to be a huge open world game that's roughly five times bigger than the original game, the original game was already huge in by it's self.
Just to give you guys a feel for how long the original game was, youtuber by the name of Chuggaaconroy a great Let's Player is currently playing it. He's currently sitting at 107 episodes(that including extra's, side missions, etc), each on lasting 20-40 mins long. The developers have already stated XCX will take 300 hours to complete the main game(most likely including extra's, side missions, etc.).
It looks interesting I'd definitely like a more RPG feel on the game. I'll need to see some gameplay footage first, that and hope that it actually makes it ways outside of Japan(that's always good too).
This decision is more focused towards Japan's market verses worldwide. In Japan mobile really does dominate. Nintendo has watched the major switch of people playing more on their phone then their handheld. This is a big reason why they've decided to add their IP's to the mobile industry and Level-5 is doing the same.
I'm more then happy to pay for the amiibo pack, better pay attention when they become available. I just hope they don't sell out as quickly as the Smash Bros editions. I really want that green squid form amiibo, to bad you can't buy it separately like the girl and boy inkling.
For those thinking that it's way to early for Nintendo announcing their next gen console your wrong.
Nintendo has always announced their next home console every 5 years it's nothing new. It's even been said once the console is released their already working on development for their next console. It's not unusual for Nintendo to announce their next console in 2016 and then releasing in 2017 because the Wii U will then be 5 years old.
Could Nintendo finally be doing a home console/handheld hybrid?
It's at least what I'm hopping Nintendo's next gen console "NX" is. Nintendo has always had connectivity of some kind between their handheld and home console ever since the SNES. It would be great and the Wii U is already a step towards it because of it's Gamepad. A hybrid console that has a slightly smaller Gamepad/Handheld device(a size between the 3DS and Gamepad). That allows you to play games on the TV and be able to take the Gamepad/Handheld device when your on the go and continue playing your game just like a regular handheld.
While I love Nintendo's home console games they excel more with their handheld. In my opinion instead of Nintendo focusing more on their handheld line but instead of just dropping their home console just combine the two. They could still do both home console games and handheld games but they can be played on one system. It might be a fan's dream idea but in my opinion it would be a great(Honestly speaking I'm surprised Nintendo hasn't done it already).
I don't think we should be jumping the gun saying that there's a sequel to Majora's Mask. Would Nintendo really come out and say "Hey guys, we're releasing this new Zelda game without any proper announcement".
Just look at what he says, hinting at a new Zelda game, and say's "Ho, ho, ho" not once but twice. What games do we know that's coming out during the Holidays of this year? Zelda Wii U. Many people have already pointed out the similarities the game already has with Twilight Princess. We even have a horse that looks like Epona. If the timeline holds any truth then Zelda Wii U takes place in the Child era which Majora's Mask is also taken place. Zelda Wii U will either take place after Majora's Mask where he could make an appearance, or takes place after Twilight Princess.
@BlatantlyHeroic Yup, funny thing though that wasn't my original intention when I found it. I love Trainer Red and Snorlax is my favorite Pokemon. This popped up and thought it was funny.
Hmm, there's something about this game. It's strange, it reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it. RoBlox? CubeWorld? Hmm Terraria? No, Rust. Maybe Ace of Spades? CastleMinerZ? How about SurvivalCraft, maybe but I definitely know is has Craft in it's name. Oh well, I'm sure someone else knows what game I'm thinking of.
I don't see Splatoon getting any amiibo's. With the large customization the best they could do is use the generic Inklings with all the different colors shown in the first trailer back at E3. It's highly unlikely that'll happen.
However I can see the support for amiibo's from Smash. Adding special accessories, clothing, and possibly special weapons depending upon the amiibo you use.
I'm passing on this game, with MH4U, XCX, Zelda U, and the other games I'm getting this year I'll be quite busy playing all of them. Xenoblade Chronicles X being nearly 23GB in size is ridiculously big(if it's avaliable on the eShop good luck to those that are buying it digitially). MH4U is probably going to be the only title I'll have digitally. Can't stand waiting for half and hour to an hour downloading a game. Having digital titles at your disposal is very convenient but call me old fashion since I'd rather swap out the physical cards. VC titles I'll get as they only take a minute or two to download due to their small size.
I've always considered myself as a handheld gamer. I started out with the GameBoy Color when I was five when the GameBoy Color was first released. My parents got me both Pokemon Red & Blue to play, to this day it's still my favorite series to play.
The first home console I got was the thin PS2(which I still have). I got quite a few games and some Play Station games as well. A couple fav Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Jak series, and The Legend of Dragoon. A few years ago I was given my Great Aunt's NES regardless how old it was I played the crap out of it and I still have it. The first Nintendo console I bought myself was the Wii U.
However I stuck by Nintendo's handheld systems, they really do have a special connection. My GameBoy Color, I played the crap out of it. Unfortunately I was careless with it one morning and broke the screen, I was devastated cause I couldn't see what it was playing. I tried saving up for the GameBoy Advance but was a little short when it actually came out. Luckily my mom went out and bought it for me after seeing how hard I tried saving for it. From there on I made sure to take better care of my stuff. That GameBoy Advance was tough it survived a great deal of punishment from my sister(don't know how many times she threw it down the stairs "plain wooden stairs"). I continued by getting the SP but held off from getting the bulky DS and got the DS Lite. Unfortunately at the time I had to sell things in order to buy it. Something that I still regret about doing, I sold both my GameBoy Advance and SP. At the time I thought the DS Lite could play GBC games and I was angry to find out it couldn't. I plan to buy a working SP again along with Pokemon Red/Blue and Silver/Gold to be able to play some of my old favorites again. I've kept my old DS Lite and have bought another one to do trades and such. I've got the 3DS, 3DS XL and soon the New 3DS XL it's coming in the mail either tomorrow or Tuesday. The handhelds have always been my preferred gaming system because you can take them anywhere. Home consoles are still great but the handhelds have always been special to me. When I was little it was always the thing I had with me during the car ride during vacation or simply going around town. It's just an all around great system to have.
@Artwark It only asks that question on the system your transferring to, in this case is the New 3DS XL. You say yes if you upgrade the pre-installed 4GB micro SD card to a larger card.
Considering you say that you have a 32GB SD card right now you probably already know that you need to pick up a 32GB micro SD card, yes?
My suggestion when you do, is to go ahead and upgrade your old 3DS's SD card verses upgrading the New 3DS XL's micro SD card before doing the transfer. This will make the transfer process much easier. To upgrade simply do the same process of moving files from one SD to another, when you buy the micro SD card your should also get an SD card adapter use that for both your computer and old 3DS. Once you've done that and have your New 3DS XL start the process and when it ask's you if your using an SD card or miniSD card select "NO" because your using a micro SD card. The process should then be like a regular transfer by simply switching the micro SD cards and boom your can play. Much easier messing around on the computer now verses doing it later during the transfer, imo anyways.
@Jim_Purcell The second option is basically sending your NNID account to the new system and then you'll need to redownload everything again. It'll be faster as far as the transfer goes but yet you'll need to spend the time redownloading everything again. If that's not something you mind doing then go for it.
@jshcamisado Yes, and in return it will make the transfer process a lot easier. Like I said your just doing a regular transfer by switching the microSD cards
Since you already have an adapter just simply move the files from your SD card to the MicroSD card w/adapter using your computer. After that put the microSD card w/adapter and put it in your old 3DS. When your New 3DS XL comes just do the transfer and switch the MicroSD cards.
To me upgrading the New 3DS XL's microSD card before when your old 3DS still has an SD card is just adding more work for you to do.
@VanillaLake Yes for Ambassador games, I'm unsure about DSiWare(I'm sure someone else can answer that instead).
All you simply need to do is go through the transfer process. Depending upon which option you choose from they'll be set up on your game already or you'll need to redownload them again. Since your NNID account transfer over to the New 3DS XL you'll be able to redownload them all by going to the eShop and going to your account settings.
Just note when you start up the New 3DS XL "DO NOT" create or sign in with your existing NNID you will screw up being able to transfer between the systems.
@jshcamisado If your simply wanting to upgrade to a 32GB microSD card, might I suggest putting that in your old 3DS first. Whether your already using a microSD or not, having an microSD card in your old 3DS before the transfer will actually make the process a lot easier.
The PC isn't required when transferring if you do this. It'll just be a regular transfer by switching the microSD cards then going through the process of using the PC to move everything.
@CaveDweller I recently got myself a microSD card for my old 3DS XL.
The process is much easier then doing the transfer from an SD card to microSD. Like the Step-by-Step above where it ask's if your using an SD or miniSD card you'll select "NO" because your already using a microSD card. It really is poorly worded because it's asking you what your old 3DS is currently using.
When you select NO, the process is truly easier because your doing a regular transfer. I don't believe the PC is required at all since you simply switch the MicroSD cards from both systems just like you would when upgrading from the 3DS to 3DS XL. If you have the bundle of MH4U or MM(some regions have MM included) and you do the transfer you'll need to re-download the game no matter what. It's just very important that on your New 3DS XL that you "DO NOT" create an NNID account when you start up the system. Your current account will transfer over and the game MH4U or MM will merge with your account.
For new hardware I'm sure we'll get rumors throughout this year. However I believe Nintendo won't announce it until 2016 at the earliest. Announcing the next gen handheld at E3 of this year is WAY to soon(especially when NA is just getting the New 3DS plus it's not even a year old yet in Japan).
The way I see it Nintendo will show off the next gen handheld at E3 2016, or simply announce it during one of their directs(preferably later in that year). Then we won't actually see it get released until 2017. That way the New 3DS/3DS XL will have at least a two year life span before the next handheld.
@SuperMinterBros The Wii U had a slight boost in sales near the end of 2014 because of the much anticipated MK8 and Super Smash Bros. Now in 2015 the Wii U is receiving some pretty great titles. Just to name a few: Kirby and the Rainbow Curse Mario Party 10 Splatoon (This game already has a lot of hype) Yoshi's Woolly World Devil's Third Mario Maker
Then nearing the end of the year we're getting two giant open world games: Xenoblade Chronicles X and The Legend of Zelda
I guess for those that are always on the go and doesn't has access to a charger. However for me I hardly take my handheld anywhere unless I go on a trip which isn't often. I play it mainly at my computer desk where my charger is hanging to the side so whenever I need it and I can hook it up and still play. I'm not gonna pay extra money just to get a couple hours of battery life. Not to mention the XL is already big enough, adding on that extra battery makes it look way to bulky. I have no problem with the battery life, I'll stick with the original battery thank you.
While I'm quite excited to get my Monster Hunter themed New 3DS with the game MH4U, when it comes to multiplayer experience all my hype is going towards Splatoon. I'm overjoyed to hear it's coming in May which is sooner then I had originally expected. Despite knowing about MH4U long before 2014's E3, once I saw the announcement for Splatoon I was instantly hooked. While Xenoblade Chronicles X and Legend of Zelda will be incredible titles I can definitely say Splatoon is my most anticipated title for 2015.

Re: Soapbox: How The Evolution Of Pokémon Can Unexpectedly Influence Play-Through Experiences

I'll probably get all three Pokemon games on VC, I have the extra cash. The one I'll play the most is probably Red or Yellow. I really hope they rerelease Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal on VC, those are games I'd really enjoy playing again.

Re: Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow Are Coming To The 3DS Virtual Console on 27th February, 2016
@jh671 This is basically what people have been demanding for since the 3DS came out.
Re: Pokémon Red, Blue & Yellow Are Coming To The 3DS Virtual Console on 27th February, 2016
Re: The Legend of Zelda on Wii U Still Has a TBC Release Date, Project Guard is Still a Thing
Re: Nintendo NX Might Be The First Social VR Platform, Claims Analyst Firm Digi-Capital
Re: Rumour: Nintendo NX Won't Be As Powerful As PlayStation 4
@Nintend0ro I'm actually 22. What made me sound older?
Re: Rumour: Nintendo NX Won't Be As Powerful As PlayStation 4
Re: Satoru Iwata Didn't Apologise For Nintendo's E3 Digital Event, Says Reggie Fils-Aime
Re: Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
@BattleEnder This game is based in the world of Mario & Luigi, not Paper Mario. By the looks of it some of the Paper Mario world is simply crossing over, so I wouldn't say this is a real Paper Mario game. However I can already tell this is going to be a thousand times better than Sticker Star.
Re: Poll: We Need to Talk About amiibo - Where Do You Stand?
Re: Video: First Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon Footage Revealed
Is it too much to ask to give us the ability to evolve at the starter of the game verses having to wait until we've not only beaten the story but a few side quests as well? Never liked how both my starter and partner were around level 50 before I could actually evolve them.
Re: Little Devil Inside is Close to Bringing Its Adventure to Wii U
@ikki5 lol, I just notice that. Someone must have changed their pledge.
They have less then 6k to go with 65 hours left. I'll honestly be surprised if they don't reach $270k. Especially considering they received yet another 10k(possible more then) in just one day. I'm just not sure if it'll reach the second stretch goal they made for $300k that adds more animals and creatures. Either way as long as it reaches $270k at least I'll be happy. I plan to pledge $75(it's only $58 which is great deal for all the extra goodies you get) so that way I can give an extra copy to my friend.
Re: Little Devil Inside is Close to Bringing Its Adventure to Wii U
@willford81 I'm sure there will be an option to remove the blood but I can't say about the beheading(perhaps that'll be removed too if you turn it off). Most games give the option to lower gore, raise it, or disable it especially if this get's put on the Wii U.
Re: Little Devil Inside is Close to Bringing Its Adventure to Wii U
I found this game out from Yooka-Laylee's kickstarter. It looks wonderful, just the type of game I'd love to play. A little disappointing to hear the Wii U being the only console that needs help receiving it while the other platforms get it right off the bat. So I'm glad to see this game get featured on Nintendolife, that way more people can see it and help it receive more backers to get this game on Wii U.
Just another 10k you guys, we're almost there. With 3 days left I know we'll reach it.
Re: Splatoon Global Testfire is Confirmed for One More Round
Well it sucks for me, I'll be out of town on the 23rd so I won't be able to play. If only it was in the morning I might have the chance but it's going to be at 2pm CT.
Re: The Prices of the Remaining Physical Goods on Club Nintendo in North America Have Been Reduced
Let me know when something drops below 55 coins.
I'd sure like another one of those 3DS cases, I'm sure glad I managed to get the LoZ game case.
Re: Nintendo's E3 Focus to Reportedly be on Wii U and 3DS, not Smart Devices or NX
Re: Nintendo's E3 Focus to Reportedly be on Wii U and 3DS, not Smart Devices or NX
Re: Nintendo Download: 30th April (Europe)
@Ichiban This article is for Europe, the direct announcing release dates for N64 and DS games was for NA. So yes Paper Mario is coming April 30th, but for Europe probably May.
Re: Video: Catch Up With the Xenoblade Chronicles X Video Showcase With This Handy Summary
Re: Video: Catch Up With the Xenoblade Chronicles X Video Showcase With This Handy Summary
Re: Famitsu Unleashes Xenoblade Chronicles X Score
Once pre-orders are available go on GS I'll get it. I can't wait to play this game, with all the Japanese trailers my hype is high. Can't wait to dive into the customization of dolls and explore the world Mira.
Re: Video: Xenoblade Chronicles X May Have Been Subject to a Slight Graphics Downgrade
Re: Video: Xenoblade Chronicles X May Have Been Subject to a Slight Graphics Downgrade
Re: Capcom Announces Monster Hunter Stories for 3DS
It looks interesting I'd definitely like a more RPG feel on the game. I'll need to see some gameplay footage first, that and hope that it actually makes it ways outside of Japan(that's always good too).
Re: Akihiro Hino on Why Fantasy Life 2 is Not Coming to the 3DS
This decision is more focused towards Japan's market verses worldwide. In Japan mobile really does dominate. Nintendo has watched the major switch of people playing more on their phone then their handheld. This is a big reason why they've decided to add their IP's to the mobile industry and Level-5 is doing the same.
Re: Splatoon Release Date, Modes and amiibo Information Splat Into View
I'm more then happy to pay for the amiibo pack, better pay attention when they become available. I just hope they don't sell out as quickly as the Smash Bros editions. I really want that green squid form amiibo, to bad you can't buy it separately like the girl and boy inkling.
Re: Nintendo Working On New 'Dedicated Game Platform' Codenamed 'NX'
For those thinking that it's way to early for Nintendo announcing their next gen console your wrong.
Nintendo has always announced their next home console every 5 years it's nothing new. It's even been said once the console is released their already working on development for their next console. It's not unusual for Nintendo to announce their next console in 2016 and then releasing in 2017 because the Wii U will then be 5 years old.
Re: Nintendo Working On New 'Dedicated Game Platform' Codenamed 'NX'
Re: The Happy Mask Salesman is Teased for a Reappearance in a New Zelda Game
Re: Gallery: The Natives Are Most Definitely Hostile In Cube Life's Survival Mode
@BlatantlyHeroic Yup, funny thing though that wasn't my original intention when I found it. I love Trainer Red and Snorlax is my favorite Pokemon. This popped up and thought it was funny.
Re: Gallery: The Natives Are Most Definitely Hostile In Cube Life's Survival Mode
Re: Splatoon eShop Listing Continues Speculation of amiibo Support
I don't see Splatoon getting any amiibo's. With the large customization the best they could do is use the generic Inklings with all the different colors shown in the first trailer back at E3. It's highly unlikely that'll happen.
However I can see the support for amiibo's from Smash. Adding special accessories, clothing, and possibly special weapons depending upon the amiibo you use.
Re: You'd Better Get a Bigger Micro-SDHC Card for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D
Re: Soapbox: Portable Gaming Forges a Special Relationship With the Player, and Nintendo is the Master in the Field
Re: Guide: How to Complete a System Transfer from a 3DS to a New Nintendo 3DS / XL
Re: Guide: How to Complete a System Transfer from a 3DS to a New Nintendo 3DS / XL
@Jim_Purcell The second option is basically sending your NNID account to the new system and then you'll need to redownload everything again. It'll be faster as far as the transfer goes but yet you'll need to spend the time redownloading everything again. If that's not something you mind doing then go for it.
Re: Guide: How to Transfer from a 3DS to a New Nintendo 3DS / XL
@jshcamisado Yes, and in return it will make the transfer process a lot easier. Like I said your just doing a regular transfer by switching the microSD cards
Since you already have an adapter just simply move the files from your SD card to the MicroSD card w/adapter using your computer. After that put the microSD card w/adapter and put it in your old 3DS. When your New 3DS XL comes just do the transfer and switch the MicroSD cards.
To me upgrading the New 3DS XL's microSD card before when your old 3DS still has an SD card is just adding more work for you to do.
Re: Guide: How to Transfer from a 3DS to a New Nintendo 3DS / XL
@VanillaLake Yes for Ambassador games, I'm unsure about DSiWare(I'm sure someone else can answer that instead).
All you simply need to do is go through the transfer process. Depending upon which option you choose from they'll be set up on your game already or you'll need to redownload them again. Since your NNID account transfer over to the New 3DS XL you'll be able to redownload them all by going to the eShop and going to your account settings.
Just note when you start up the New 3DS XL "DO NOT" create or sign in with your existing NNID you will screw up being able to transfer between the systems.
Re: Guide: How to Transfer from a 3DS to a New Nintendo 3DS / XL
@jshcamisado If your simply wanting to upgrade to a 32GB microSD card, might I suggest putting that in your old 3DS first. Whether your already using a microSD or not, having an microSD card in your old 3DS before the transfer will actually make the process a lot easier.
The PC isn't required when transferring if you do this. It'll just be a regular transfer by switching the microSD cards then going through the process of using the PC to move everything.
Re: Guide: How to Transfer from a 3DS to a New Nintendo 3DS / XL
Re: Satoru Iwata States That Around 5.7 Million amiibo Have Been Sold, Rules Out Current Games for Smartphones
Re: Talking Point: It's Time to Salute The Nintendo 3DS, Defying Early Gloom to Pass 50 Million Sales
@SuperMinterBros The Wii U had a slight boost in sales near the end of 2014 because of the much anticipated MK8 and Super Smash Bros. Now in 2015 the Wii U is receiving some pretty great titles. Just to name a few:
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse
Mario Party 10
Splatoon (This game already has a lot of hype)
Yoshi's Woolly World
Devil's Third
Mario Maker
Then nearing the end of the year we're getting two giant open world games: Xenoblade Chronicles X and The Legend of Zelda
Re: Battery Manufacturer Mugen Reveals Bigger Battery for New Nintendo 3DS and XL
Re: Poll: Nintendo's Year of Multiplayer Gaming on Wii U and 3DS Aims to Bring Us Together Online and At Home
