Sounds like it controls like the NDS Zelda games which means it should actually play pretty well on my Note 8... Now I just need it to release in the UK because I'm too lazy for sideloading right now 😂

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate during the day (it feels like farming Dreadqueen Rathian has taken over my life) and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney as my "chill out at bedtime" game (finally decided to play my way through the series).

I don't care what the new content is really, just getting more Dead Cells is fine by me... Maybe get rid of the Firebrands weapons though (god I hate those things)

I've never played Undertale and I've deliberately been holding off until it came to Switch as I do 90% of my gaming on my commute to/from work.
Needless to say I've really been looking forward to this release!

@Razer MHGU is the culmination of all the best pre-World monsters and features that the series has to offer.
As a player that has over 1500 hours across the MH series I can tell you that this game is not miles behind MHW (all World really has is a few nice QOL improvements and a shiny new coat of paint).
Any experienced player can easily switch between the old and new style games and MHGU has a huge amount more content than World, granted it may be a polished port of a 3ds game but the improvements and added content make it easily worth the price of admission.
If anything this should be the game that players turn to when they run out of things to do in World.

Nicely written starter guide, this will definitely help new players start to learn the complex systems normally associated with Monster Hunter games.

Worth noting that the actual JoyCon are considerably lighter in colour than they are on the box...

@zonks Yeah they are still very satisfying to play solo (I play most of my MH on my commute to/from work), pretty much the only time I play online now is when I jump on to help out newer players with tough quests

I'm loving the look of that Joycon/Pro-Controller charging stand!

@Agramonte well I am a huge monster hunter fan so just the idea of G-Rank in MHG is enough to make this a day 1 purchase for me.

It's also worth noting that this may be Capcom testing the waters to gauge the sales performance of a MH game on Switch for Western audiences with a view to building a new game from the ground up for Switch (and then localising said game for anywhere outside of Japan).

@HappyRusevDay there was a competitive Divekick scene for a while (it even made a showing at EVO) and that game literally only used 2 buttons (dive and kick) with no combos, specials or any kind of directional inputs... Compared to that I actually think Pocket Rumble is fairly complex 😋

This didn't really bother me... I was however kinda disappointed that the DBX2 physical copy didn't have any internal artwork though 😭

@Ryu_Niiyama I was surprised when I noticed 9 months into owning my Switch that the screen edge animation for attaching/detaching a Joy-con also matches the Joy-con colour.

I actually got one of my most wanted features in this update, my Spla2n Pro Controller will finally show as having pink and green grips 😁

I already have this on PS4 but I'm definitely down for a double dip!

Seems like they improved load times which were really my only issue with the original version of the game... Only thing is that the loading/controls screen really makes me want an official set of black Joy-Con!

I just wish we were getting both games on cartridges like the Japanese special edition.

Easily my favourite little animation is the fact that when you set off a bomb Link quickly pulls out the Sheika Slate and uses it as a remote detonator

Was in Game in Bury town centre earlier today and they had 7 SNES classics for sale at RRP

I'm pretty shocked that it'll be NN3DS only but I'm glad that 3DS and Wii U gamers get a chance to experience this amazing title... Just hope it comes to Europe now

This better come to Europe because I am legitimately more excited for this than any other recently announce game, 999 and Zero Escape are 2 of my all time favourite games!
