Nintendo directs are normally announced a day or two beforehand and normally come the month after an indie world. Im confident we'll still get one this month, probably around the 15th/16th.

For those interested, we got a few new pictures of the courses earlier today and coconut malls visuals have already been updated since the last time we saw it. Theres still plenty of time.

I don't care that much. Gen 9 can be garbage if needs be, I just want them to take some time and really make gen 10 amazing.

If its done as well as Professor Layton and the eternal diva, then it could be great. And as for link talking, I think it could work with the right voice and done in the same style as the mangas where he speaks. Edit: I think a series would work better but same difference.

Man if ARMS 2 ever comes out, just give us a campaign mode where you run through levels beating up bad guys, swinging on your spring arms, and taking down bosses. That coupled with an online mode that doesn't rely on grabbing constantly and you'd have a great game.

Honestly I liked the name Octopath Traveler. And I don't mind this too much but they really need to stop using the project codenames. Even Triangular Strategies sounds a bit better imo.

@UsurperKing Is anything about pokemon realistic though? Like they exist in a virtual world where anything could happen. I don't get why people complain about realisticness

As for mario kart, I think it will always stay named Mario Kart, despite having lots of guest characters. Maybe the next game will be called Super Mario Kart and will have lots of past and new courses available.

*edit, Super Mario Kart 9 of course. I am aware there is already Super Mario Kart.

@Dezzy70 So you are choosing to ignore both the first party games that have come out recently such as Animal Crossing, Dread and warioware and also the huge amount of games coming out next year too such as Zelda Kirby Pokemon Splatoon and who knows what else.

@Kreko It is in no way a crime, but in an article clearly aimed at fans of the game who might like a cool little detail found there, negative comments are a bit out of place. If this was a article about whether or not breath of the wild is a good game then negative comments and light debate would be both accepted and appreciated in the circumstances.

@Kreko I think the main problem with the unnecessary hate the game is getting here is that this is very clearly a Breath of the Wild article. If you dislike the game so much, why even click on it? And once you have clicked on it, why even bother commenting?

@Greatluigi Because unlike the 2048 project that we saw the other day, this is an actual functioning version of a game, from devs that highly polish every game they make.

Nitrome is one of the best mobile developers to this day, very disappointing that got rejected.

From what I've read in the article, I believe he was just valuing it and not actually selling it. Many people do this with things that could be worth money but they would never sell.

I have to ask, does this boss have infinite/far more health if you don't destroy his legs with the storm missile? For a while I didn't do this and got about 6 parries and a bunch of missiles with seemingly no end in sight.

@PortuGuy Don't you worry about 5 being too much. Took me 10 at least! It got easy once I figured out I could break the claws though.
