Now that the Switch is out and they don't need to advertise it, they can focus of games for the 3DS and the Switch during the whole event

Good to see Nintendo is learning from EA and Ubisoft. Guess I won't be getting the game then.

It's all about the orbs. Getting free orbs isn't impossible, but it's a lot more trouble than just paying for them (which I haven't yet). The problem with Mario Run is that I found the demo really boring, so I just didn't buy the game. Had it been a "pay up front" kind of game would obviously have been a better idea

That review made me realise how picky we have become as players. We complain that weapons break in BotW or that shooters have become too repetitive and yet this reviewer considers having a clock as a positive feature.

@-Green- Her having insecurities actually made her interesting to me. She's no promised goddess with immense power, she's just a nerd with a passion for ancient machines that had to fill a role she doesn't want.

@MegaVel91 True, but she did all that off screen. It would have been amazing to see her actually fight in a battle against Ganon.

Far from the best to date. She had an okay role and her design is nice, but she far from being as great as she was in Skyward Sword. TP's Zelda also had a more important role.

I will always prefer the old "Zelda formula", but BotW was pretty good. My only real irk was the poor story. I never felt engaged with anything that happened, nor did I care for any of the side characters (except maybe Kass or Sidon). I also expected more from Zelda after seeing the trailers.

Hardest shrine? I had more trouble with the various labyrinths and the combat trials than with this one. You just need to think outside the box and not rely too much on your equipment

@Setery10 I know it costs the same if you convert it. But while the console's price rose in Canadian dollars, the amount of money I get from work remains the same.

This isn't helping me buying the console. The system is already 100$ more here in Canada and most games (on all consoles) are already at an absurd 79,99$. If the price gets higher than that for games, then what's the point? No game will ever be worth paying 100$ or more.

Although the explanation eases my fears a bit, I still think the timing was godawful. One week after launch would have been a lot better. The problem for me is the price. The game will already cost me 90$ (79,99 + taxes), and now you're telling me that I'll need to add 25$ more to that to get the full experience? That is just insane, I barely get that much per paycheck with my part-time job

That is kinda dumb. I mean, It looks fine for GB and GBC games but having face buttons for L and R is ridiculous.

How about not milking the idea? I liked the concept but releasing so many of them with each iteration was kind of a dumb move. These figures are costy, and not everyone has the means to buy all of them.

I don't care much about either. Still, if the game runs well (and does not stutter at 10fps) and looks good, that much is enough for me.

I assume that by "Assassin's Creed mobile game", he means a cell phone game. I truly hope it's not a console that lets you play mobile games but rather lets you play 3DS quality games on the go.
That said, the details are still super vague and Nintendo seems bent on not giving any info until the NX has already been released. We'll see in due time.

I really don't get why Niantic does not simply hire someone to handle the communication. Having someone to handle their twitter/email/facebook page would save both a lot of time and a lot of trouble.

Mario Maker on 3DS should be really fun to play on the go. Pokemon Moon has to be my most anticipated Pokemon game ever!

I really want to like this game, but I remain unconvinced so far. The battle system still needs work imo. Bosses without challenges and no real rewards from standard battles aren't things I'm looking for. The world does look great however and the story seems very lighthearted. I'm still on the fence.

We know next to nothing about this console and the Wii U was a gigantic flop, even if it had a few moments. Also, as of late, I really don't like the way Nintendo is going. While I can see how their decisions make sense on the economical level, the fanboy in me is just sad. I also highly doubt they'll be receiving a lot of third party support for the NX.

After playing the Practice mode and a few rounds of Blast Ball, I'm sold. Any fear I had about it has been rectified (except the chibi thingy). I'm really looking forward the full game now

Platinum coins are completely useless. What a waste. I expected much more from the Club Nintendo successor but what we got is just sad.

Your games may be hit and miss, and Sega might know how to handle you as much as Capcom handles Megaman, but you'll always have a soft spot in my heart Sonic. I was more of a Nintendo Fan, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't love your games to death. Hope you can impress me again soon!

ShovelKnight is already in my top 10 games ever and it just keeps going up in said list. Yacht Club Games are really good at this. I seriously wonder where they'll go next.

I like how people are defending this "average" score. Sure, average is a good score, but not when it's supposed to be the new Mega Man. Then again, looking at how Capcom treats him, I suppose "average" is a fitting score.

Great job by the Treehouse team this year (Especially Audrey). Kinda disappointed that they didn't have many games to show but it was okay overall.

Putting it between WW and PH is not possible since PH takes place directly after WW. Putting it after PH would make more sense.

@MrYuzhai Can't wait to see how much potential the NX has. If the Wii U truly is at the end of its line, the NX should use Nintendo's full list of IPs to avoid a second disappointment.

No matter how good Zelda looked, showing 2 games is not enough in my books. I have nothing to be hyped about for this year. I would have LOVED more info on games already announced like the Metroid game and their future VC plans. But we got 2 games. This just felt like a "Sorry about the Wii U" presentation.

Yeaaahh... I'll wait some more.
