Ever since they got bought by IGN, the quality of their bundles dropped a lot. Because of that, they probably sell fewer of them and now they are pretty much forcing buyers to give money to them instead of charity. I get the reasoning, but that's still a bad move.
Single player content in an online Battle Royale? Really not sure how that'll work, but last time I played was back when "Save the World" was a thing back in 2018 I think
Like Super Mario Party, this game has a lot of potential that could easily be added to the game with patches or DLC but I guess that makes too much sense...
@blockfight I guess that's a fair point. At least they let you try out the game for a few minutes so you can test your connection before you buy.
Edit: So I've tried the Control "demo" session and it runs surprisingly well. Both my PC and Switch and connected directly to my modem and the Control demo was more stable than any games I've tried on Stadia. That's a very good sign.
That's kinda bad for anyone with a slightly underperforming internet connection. And since Nintendo's online as been botched at best, I'm worried at what those games will play like. I have one of the fastest internet connection in my province and Stadia STILL lags from time to time, so cloud games on the Switch are a no from me.
I'll see if I ever try it. Loved the first two, haven't touched the third yet, and generally, people don't seem as fond of the third game as the other two.
My switch did start getting very hot on the right side. I'll try that to see if it fixes anything.
Edit: Did a quick test but it seems that cleaning the rail with compressed air works. I played Xenoblade and the Pikmin 3 demo and it's already a bit cooler than before. It was a quick test though so I'll see if it gets bad again after a long play session.
The online lags sooooo much from my experience. A single game of blackjack takes ages to finish. I love playing it local or single-player tho so not much else to complain about.
I'm really into the idea of this game, but I also kinda expected a score similar to this. Apparently, the devs will continue to add more genres to the list, so MAYBE it will get better?

Re: Feature: Will These 10 Classic Western RPGs Ever Come To Switch?
I'd sell my kidneys to have Dragon Age on the Switch!
Re: The Toy-Themed Shooter Hypercharge: Unboxed Just Got Its "Biggest" Switch Update Ever
Guess I'll need to redownload it! Good to see it's still supported!
Re: Rumour: Huge Nvidia Database Leak Lists Unannounced Third-Party Games
@Ventilator Best case scenario would be PCs visuals with much better stability, but that remains to be seen
Re: Rumour: Huge Nvidia Database Leak Lists Unannounced Third-Party Games
@Ventilator Bit harsh but alright.
Still not a remake though. Sounds more like an upscaled version with bug fixes.
Re: Rumour: Huge Nvidia Database Leak Lists Unannounced Third-Party Games
Very much doubt that list. Also, Arkham Knight remaster? Why?
Re: 'Minecraft Live' Set To Reveal New Content In October
I'm having flashbacks of the Glow Squid vote...
Re: Pokémon Unite Is Getting Another Game Update, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Seems they really aren't gonna change the held items to be less pay to win.
Also, that's a pretty heavy nerf on Snorlax, ouch.
Re: New Poké Lids Highlight Gardevoir And Alolan Dugtrio
Such a cool way to bring some colours to streets!
Re: Surprise! SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off Has Just Launched On Nintendo Switch
Yikes! Do they really expect people to pay that much?

Re: Random: Story Of Seasons' Photo Mode Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things
I think it's hilarious. Either you get a cute scene of someone's farm, or you get a bonkers photo.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (December 5th)
Currently finishing my backlog of games I half-played. This weekend will probably be DQ11 and/or Valkyria Chronicles

Re: Review: Seven Knights: Time Wanderer - A Tragic Waste Of Time
@Rika_Yoshitake Doesn't excuse the fact that it's dull and repetitive.
For a 25$CAD game, there are much better alternatives.
Re: Sega Sammy Set To Sell Majority Of Sega Entertainment
Ouch... Will this affect software development or is this a different division of the company?

That's reaaaally cool. And very out of nowhere.
Re: Review: Horace - A Heart-Warming Nostalgia Trip And Must-Play Masterpiece
I should have waited for that instead of getting the very disappointing Cloudpunk.
Re: Random: Sakurai Didn't Appreciate The "Rough" Comments During TGS, So He Decided To Turn Them Off
I always turn off comments on things like live streams. Not worth the negativity and I got better things to do than be angry at some random people

Re: Where To Pre-Order Monster Hunter Rise And The Three amiibo
@Sky1Eagle1 Not holding my breath for a collector's edition in Canada. It'd be really cool though.
Re: A Short Hike's Sales Have Been "Much Stronger" On Switch Compared To PC
Got it on release. Such a good little game. Not too long, not too short. It's wonderful.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Monster Hunter Rise And The Three amiibo
Still nothing in Canada. I keep checking Ebgames' website but MHRise is nowhere to be found so the amiibos aren't there either.

Re: EA Is Bringing Seven Games To Nintendo Switch Over The Next 12 Months
Mass Effect and/or Dragon Age
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th June (North America)
Not a bad week to be honest. Looking forward to ACTUALLY try Ninjala without having a server error.
Re: Here Are Launch Patch Notes For Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics
@ACNHislit More like "2-bars wifi match in Smash Bros" laggy

That was a bit harder than I thought
Re: Pokémon Releases New Looney Tunes-Style Cartoon Starring Scraggy And Mimikyu
Great work. Would love to see more but for a first try it's really good!
Re: Excellent Digital Art Software Colors! Is Making A Grand Comeback On Nintendo Switch
@RupeeClock Wait you DREW that!? I always thought it was a picture of a plush or something. Looks great!
I'm very tempted to back this, but since most games and projects I've backed have been delayed due to the confinement, I'm a tad more cautious.
Re: Harvest Moon: One World Announced For Nintendo Switch
@RupeeClock Considering they still release them and they are always subpar, I don't think so.
