When the 3DS first came out I was promoting a lot of concerts and I tried this once. Only once. Aside from the poor visuals, the sound was awful too, especially compared to my mobile phone (this was just before smartphones) I hsd at the time, which actually made decent recordings. Hang on, did I say the sound was awful? Sorry I meant completely %$^&ing abysmal.

@Wexter I doubt they'd be allowed to discuss it and as I'm based in a different state to Nintendo, probably nothing to do with the office I work with. I will say, hiring and firing and disciplinary decisions rest with us so IF something went down then it would fall on the big N. Of course, that's a big IF and I'll leave that to the courts.

I was watching the trailer to see what all the fuss was and my internal monolog was like "Looks normal. Seems pretty standard to me. Not that risqué. Nearly over now and WOAH WTH?"

Jeez, I only bought this for my son last month. He came running up to me in shock this morning when he got the message on his 2ds about the eshop closing. This does seem like a really inappropriate thing to do in the digital age. Not so much with the Wii because only a tiny minority ever downloaded games, but Wii U/3DS were the serious beginning of downloading.

Why must they torment us with these beautiful visions of what will never be?

It's not just that they use British accents that blows my mind. It's that they sometimed use regional accents rather than the generic drama school/newsreader voice that most non-UK people think is an English accent. That's the really rare part.

@Paraka I have a very successful career with a well paid job and one of the perks is spending my hard earned wages on some Marijuana which is legal in my state. Now if my staff came in baked I would obviously throw the book at them but some of my best performers enjoy some weed in their downtime.

I really don't understand the upgrade fee. I paid $35 about a month ago for my renewal. The new service is $80 so I'd expect to be charged less than $45 buy they're trying to charge me $49.99 plus taxes.

Most of us succeful adults have been there. Only this year, I bailed on a workplace that had developed a toxic culture. People speaking out are trying to do these companies a favor and stop them losing talent. It IS an amazing game BUT I don't understand why you would get this much more expensive version when it's cheaper on your phone and the game pretends to be a phone interface anyway?

I do enjoy Chibnall's run but I totally respect and understand those who don't enjoy the writing as much.

Oh wow, that's a little melancholy. I remember my first few months of commuting with my 3ds and getting just 1 streetpass (I got one day one and lived in Yorkshire) but then it started to pick up and as for trips to places like Paris and London, used to take regular Streetpass breaks to process them all. The highlight was getting Japanese tourists in the Louvre

Well, anything has to beat the horror of "Destiny of the Doctors" - shudder. Seriously, though, I did enjoy the VR game on PS4 and the found phone game was actually genuinely wonderful. So, I have cautious hopes for this one.
