Re: Super Mario Run Has Made Just Over $60 Million To Date

Yasaal

This just calls for more geographical discrimination by not releasing games like FEH to every territory around the world (including mine as well). They released Mario Run everywhere and not FEH and will definitely continue their bullish nature and only let a few territories enjoy their mobile games. Pathetic, I'm disappointed as a fan with their practices (as a Mobile developer, not as a console manufacturer) and doubt I won't be disappointed when their next games will be coming to those few territories as well...

Re: Arcade Archives: Donkey Kong Available Now On Switch eShop In North America And Japan

@KnightRider666 And that's exactly my reaction to this. I don't think I and a lot of other people could pay $8 for an extremely old game just touched up a bit and repackaged to be sold. This also goes to Nintendo as well since their Virtual Console was at many times overpriced (not always, but usually) back with the Wii and the Wii U as well. Either the games should be cheaper or they should be bundled together for a little more price, then only will it be worth the price tag...

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Notes That Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Could Be The Last In The Series

Yasaal

Could say this is Sakurai's last Smash. The series will live on under the helm of a new head who possibly will lead it in a way Sakurai envisioned it, but Smash won't die, especially since it has such an active fanbase and it takes in the profits.

I'd be horrified if Smash had the F-Zero case of not being released ever again but then there's a huge difference between the two mainly the gigantic amount of fans for Smash.

Re: Nintendo Confirms Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Is A "Brand New Game", Not A Wii U Port

Yasaal

@diwdiws I'll explain it better, people are saying that Smash Ultimate looks a bit similar to Smash Wii U so it's a direct port. Which is wrong, because apart from the thousands of changes made, if we all look properly, we'll notice that on the surface from a distance Smash Ultimate might look like a port, but it's made from the ground up. Especially since they are using a completely different engine (Unreal 4) to make the game, not the one used for Smash Wii U. Hope that explains it

Re: Hands On: Settling The Score In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Happy to see people are realising it's a new game. Sakurai looked like he lost 10 years of his life so it's pretty much obvious from a joke perspective that it's a new game, on the technical side it's made by Unreal so that solves the factual issue.

Personally, I'm a bit bummed it's coming so late at the end of the year but then it's a week before my birthday so I can't complain

Re: Bill Trinen Discusses Smash Bros. Invitational 2018, Won’t Disclose Whether It’s A Port Or New Game

Yasaal

@NintyNate I know right. Like one or two HD ports are alright, but Nintendo has overdone it. Now if they do it to one of the most important franchises like Smash, I don't think people will be impressed. As a result, I'm scared. None of the folks at Nintendo have confirmed directly if we'll be getting a new game or it's just a port. We'll have to see next week... 4 days to go 😰
