Musical rhythm games are coming thick and fast on Nintendo Switch, with Just Shapes and Beats preparing to add to the beat this week. Developer Bezerk Studios had teased a release for the Switch version last week, and finally we've got a concrete release - and it just so happens to be tomorrow!
Check out the release date trailer below. If you've never heard of it before, it's a colourful bullet hell where you attempt to survive while moving to the beat. It looks insane, and just the kind of madcap idea that will feel right at home on Nintendo's hybrid console.
What do you make of Just Shapes and Beats? Will you be picking up tomorrow when the big Nintendo Download drops on the eShops? Share your thoughts below...

Just to squeeze into the release-heavy May at the last minute. With it there's 14 (or so) releases tomorrow! Sure, it's all indie and retro games, but it's still quite an influx. Which means eShop overhaul update cannot come fast enough.
@SmaggTheSmug, I so agree that a update for the Switch e-shop cannot come fast enough there are like literally 700 games on the Switch's e-shop now, even if it was comparable to the layout on the 3DS's e-shop it would be great. In it's current form the Switch's e-shop is a pain to navigate.
Also have to say this title looks awesome I will definitely be checking it out I love me some good rhythm button mashing and this looks fantastic.
Cost?
Wasn't this on the nindie direct a while back? if it's the same game I'm thinking of it's a definite purchase for me.
cost is $20 USD.
it appears that the only controls are move around, and dodge.
this is a day one for me
And of course right when West of Loathing also releases...
This looks really fun, I hope they have a demo so I can try it out first
Just buy it. Trust me. Because everyone knows you can trust random strangers on the internet
