Miiverse Currently Affected by Maintenance, More Wii U and 3DS Work Planned

Wii Shop and Dsi shop involved. I'm scared. Are they taking off older titles, I wonder?

I tried downloading the Ganon DLC for Hytle Warriors last night and it kept giving me the down for maintinance page.

They're doing maintenance on the day HW releases which auto posts to Miiverse whenever you get a badge or trophy or whatever?

I'm glad to see Nintendo taking Miiverse maintenance seriously. I really like to showcase my adventures in most of the games I play. They also serve as a good reminder of the great times I've had while playing.

@kereke12 i got back when i checked back on my 3DS just now. All i had to do is say i read the Miiverse COC. If you are using PC or mobile when checking you should then try with Wii U or 3DS

Every time there's a maintenance period, I hope that it means SNES games will finally be on the 3ds Eshop... Please let it happen this time ;-;

Hm a lot of work going on there. Could be to do with the themes, could be something bigger. I'm predicting a direct very soon as we haven't had one which wasn't focused on just one game for a long time. Again i would like one unified account but that never happens. The fact that both Wii eshop and dsi is involved i stands out. Why do i get the feeling that those will be closing shortly?

I was expecting Miiverse to go offline during the maintenance, but it's up and running like as if nothing happened.

Am I the only person still hopeful for the Nintendo smartphone app with Miiverse?

They had best be preparing to distribute some special miis. Still waiting here...three and a half years after launch...

Gotta hand it to Nintendo, they're really trying in terms of keeping up with their online services this time around.

Oh, good. It won't effect the Fairy Face-Off this weekend for Pokémon X/Y.

I suspect they're at least partially preparing the servers for the increased traffic expected by the international release of Smash Bros. 3DS.

@kereke12 The more efficient they make Miiverse on 3dS now, the faster it will be on a new 3DS. And if you want Smash and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate to run properly, you need a new 3DS.

I've been using Miiverse a lot, but I've experiened no problems, so far.

Was on Miiverse yesterday and tonight seemed fine to me.

I can still play Monster Hunter online? Good, then. No problem.

I wonder if this is in preparation for the rumored changes to the account system?

All will be revealed when it comes. Expect a massive eShop update for both systems. I hope N8ntendo decides to implement a cross buy system for VC NES titles. If so, I'll have a boat0load of free credits waiting for me, assuming it's retroactive.

Nintendolife could you please reply to this. My wii u is saying i need to accept the terms and conditions of the nnid,yet when i say okay it says online services are unavailable? Its tuesday the 30th sept and its currently 10 30 am. This extended maintainence or am i in trouble as its past the scheduled maintainence and i cant play mk8 anymore!

@Marshi I had the same message last night which was a little weird as, like you say there was no option to agrèe.ill have to try again but you have me a little worried...
