Re: Switch Pro Rumours Intensify As New Retailer Listing Appears Online

WagnerDDS

IF this is real, that name is totally fake.
Plus, I still don't believe they are going to release a switch pro like a PS4Pro or XBOX. They will release the switch successor instead.

Of course they can release a third revision with some extra features, but nothing too much higher (hardware-wise). Otherwise, they would be sabotaging the current switches out there.

Companies would change their focus to the "more powerful" unit and leave the original one aside. It wouldn't turn out a good thing for Nintendo.

@Anti-Matter I played DDR 3rd Mix on the arcades in a mall near my home. I sucked at it but really had fun. You really had to learn the choreography to get nice scores. It was a really fun game which made you feel like you were really dancing and the songs were supperb, not only commercially acclaimed pop hits.
I hope they make new console games and bring the mats back lol

Re: Poll: Have Your Joy-Con Been Drifting?

WagnerDDS

I've got my switch March 2017 and a pair of neon yellow joy con by the time they launched alongside ARMS.

I've experienced some drifting on the left ones, but it very seldom.
When it occurs I just circle them around and they come back to normal at the same time.
They,
've never drifted for a long time or many consecutive times.

Re: PlatinumGames Wants The Wonderful 101 On Switch

That is one of my favorite games ever!
The super sentai-like soundtrack on the first level never got away of my mind!

The characters are so unique and we'll developed.

Of course they will have to adapt the touch screen controls to be used with the joycon like a wiimote to keep the fun going.

Re: Poll: Surprise! A New Zelda Is In Development, But What Do You Want From It?

WagnerDDS

I hope we have a mix of open world with the proper challenging dungeons and special weapons which don't break.
It would be awesome to explore a new world gathering resources but then, you find a dungeon and inside it you get a special tool to help you on your journey.
For example, we could find the chain with that massive iron sphere which would enable us to defeat certain bulky enemies previously unbeatable.
This would give us the sense of progression without cutting out the exploration of the open world, IMHO.

Re: The Gorgeous-Looking InnerSpace Glides Onto Switch Early Next Year

Why do people nowadays release those trailers which don't give us any solid idea about gameplay? Death Stranding, for example, the cinematics on Game Awards was indeed superb... for cinematics, but what's the game about? What's the gameplay like?

I believe they are focusing too much on visuals and forgetting about the real thing a game is about: gameplay!

Re: Soapbox: Breath Of The Wild Is Amazing, But Is It The 3D Zelda That Enthusiasts Expected?

WagnerDDS

I couldn't agree more!
Thank God I wasn't the only one to think like that!
As a game, BoTW is indeed one of the best ever released. However, as a Zelda fan since A Link to the Past, I really felt incomplete. My main expectations concerning a new Zelda game was always the challenge of the dungeons and the different special items I would find in my journey to help me.
I will never forget how exciting it was when I was using the gust bellows to find that boss under that layer of sand in SS, or using the grappling hook to reach the tail of that dragon in TP until finally bring it down.
The plot of the games being mandatory helps us to be immerse on that situation and feel part of the game.

I wish we had the option to carry at least one weapon which doesn't break in a few strikes. This mechanics broke the flow of the battle.

I missed so many things in BotW just because I refused to read any guide.

At the end I felt my brain wasn't challenged as it used to be in past Zelda titles, and for me, Zelda is about using your brain to solve real puzzles, fighting great bosses and feeling part of the story.
No doubt it is one of the best games ever. But not the best Zelda one.
