Have this on my Xbox One and love it. Never played this much on the old PS1, and I'm glad to see what I missed as a kid.

I think it's a great system, but the lack of support and upcoming NX have me hesitant on buying one. They blew it on initially not releasing the smaller model in America, only to release it in a white Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer bundle. A black small New 3DS Fire Emblem Fates bundle would've been killer.

It's stupid that they removed the feature altogether (though I can see why they removed the drugging scene and incest), but is it really that big of a deal? It's a (insert profanity here) strategy game, if it needed some stupid dating feature to please you I find it just as sadistic as Sarkeesian. All hail the drama kings and queens.

That's nice to hear. Don't think I'll pick up the PC port or a Wii U, but I do know this game has some clever ideas.

@Ralizah Same here. I was on the fence about getting Pokemon X & Y, but I think I know what I'm doing now. Somewhere some stupid businessman thinks he's gonna make money off this. Maybe with a rushed AAA, but this? Give me a break. Can't wait for this to bite them back in the you know what. Maybe then they'll start acting like rational human beings. @BenAV Yeah, the jarring stupidity of this could cause something much realer than the threats themselves to happen. Anyone stupid enough to do this for the hell of it had it coming. That said, I hope they focus more on teaching them common sense and rationality than they do locking them up for the sake of punishment.

@Ryno Do not acknowledge that Skyrim, Mirror's Edge, Metal Gear Solid V, Halo 3, The Last of Us, and Read Dead Redemption are good games. Ever. They're all just a bunch of generic, underwhelming rehashes as only Nintendo is capable of good games, as if Star Fox Zero, Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, and Metroid Federation Force don't exist. At least Zelda and Fire Emblem still look good.

Mostly good music, mostly not rock. I don't care if Ed Sheeran's a good artist, because it doesn't make him any more fitting. It's like playing Radiohead at a celebration - poorly suited.

@gsmaciel That could go down a very slippery slope; I can forgive one thing, maybe even more if the title's ambitious enough, but we don't need to be kind towards Battlefield 4 and whatnot.

I plan on getting the game's multiplayer soon and expect it to be a good time. The demo for the campaign was pretty mediocre, but the game's a decent shooter and it's one hell of a technical achievement.

I'm all for tributes to video games and this guy does seem to have a more honest operation going than say, some Minecraft clone, but he's still playing it a little too safe. He should change it up a little more. With more work, as he actually does seem to care about making games (at least to some extent), it could be more distinct, but as it is now I would've never ported it to PC let alone considered consoles. It has a little more ways to go creatively before it's worthy of competing with its influences when it's still so close to them.

@ouroborous I don't recall being able to play last gen games on any console, Nintendo Wi-Fi connection is dead. These are new games, and with free online multiplayer subsidized through things like software sales, yeah, they're gonna get banned. I'm only surprised this didn't happen sooner.

If an official one comes out it'd be cool to see if it worked.

Nice job Nintendo, throwing away free marketing. They can do what they want, but I'm not a blind Nintendo fanboy, I'll say it like it is: they're shooting themselves in the foot. There's no other way to say it without running away from the truth. The YouTubers (whether you like them or not is a whole nother matter) supply the videos, commentary, and gameplay, the game developers make the game. The former get the revenue, the latter gets the advertising. A win-win situation. Why you would discourage such is mind-blowingly stupid. Say what you will about whether you think they're entertaining enough to merit their wages, all parties win from them. Nintendo is in the right legal grounds to do this of course, it's just not a bright idea. I love Nintendo, but not unconditionally. Blindly cheering them on no matter what they do like a Vita fanboy is stupid.

Generally I'd refrain from such titles, and have thus far, but in my mind I'm pretty sure that the commenter in question (AugustusOxy) may very well be sexist, or at least one hell of a hypocrite.
