Fire emblem echoes shadows of valentia was great. If you like the old Fire Emblem games (Lyn and Eliwood or Sacred Stones) then it's an easy recommendation.
@andyc777 I'm not completely physical but some games I would like to keep for future use. In the same way I occasionally dust off my gamecube or original GBA Advance Wars and Fire Emblems there are some games I know I'll want to revisit in 5 or 10 years ( e.g. 3 Houses, Dark Souls, Octopath) and Hellblade definitely fits this group. I'll wait for either a digital sale or an annoucement for physical - whatever comes first then I'll give in.
Still enjoying Witcher 3, such a great game. About 50 hours in so I think it might be time for a palate cleanser so will go back to NSMBU/Luigi U or maybe finish King of Cards which I was loving before my copy of Switcher arrived.
Must be a side quest early on in the story as all 3 leaders take part, definitely before the second half. I am not taking this to be a separate path, just a side quest but would be happy with any extra content. Can't wait.
Witcher 3 for me. Also got Just Dance 2020 for the family and really impressed. Good selection of songs even though I will never pay for a subscription. And feels like a good workout too!
Really enjoying King of Cards so going to try and finish that this weekend. Also started playing New Super Luigi U on Switch again after a little break, loving those shorter tougher levels.
I did something like this when I finished Pokrmon X. I knew I wouldn't go back to it so I traded all my high level pokemon before I quit for good. Nice to think someone would get a nice surprise.
Was thinking about playing next year after Witcher 3 and Ni no kuni but now I might keep my palate fresh for Bravely Default 2 as I really liked the first one. Too much choice on Switch, too little time for all these great gsmes!
Really looking forward to this. So far Plague Knight has been my favourite, even narrowly exceeding the original Shovel Knight in my opinion. I just couldn't click with Spectre but I keep meaning to come back to it. High hopes for this one though.
Coming to the end of my second playthrough of Dark Souls Remastered. Might try something from my backlog, Bastion just didn't click for me but I'm going to give Transistor a good try next.
Still going through my second playthrough on Dark Souls Remastered. A sorcerer build this time and having a blast. Not allowed to buy myself any new games as Xmas and a birthday coming up, but heavy hinting for Witcher 3 and Ni No Kuni. ๐ค
@NintendoByNature I've heard Guac 2 is even better than the first one, but I'll try not to set my expectations too high. Really love the style and humour, and the gameplay of Guac 1 has been topnotch too, so it's hard to see how they can improve.
Guacamelee at the moment. Really enjoying it. Been trying to work through my backlog but couldn't help buying Bastion and Transistor on sale, so actually the list is getting longer!
I feel the main market for these partial downloads is unsuspecting customers and relatives/parents who buy blindly as gifts etc without realising what poor value for money they are.
I will never buy a box for a download only game. May as well wait for the inevitable eshop sale, whereas I'd be happy to pay full price for a proper physical release such as Witcher 3 etc.
I really enjoyed the game play but I do wish Samus could have been a stronger Ripley-type heroine which would have fit better with her other silent protagonist games.
Been looking for a pad for 2d games but for that price I think I've decided to go for 8bitdo NC30 pro2 in gamecube colours. Or maybe that 8bitdo lite just for the novelty.... too many choices!
@Deltath yeah, I never had a wii U so for me it's brand new and perfect 2D mario. Hoping they'll get round to releasing 3D World on Switch too as I hear good thongs about that too.
Due to some unexpected bills I had to cancel my Ni No Kuni preorder so perfect excuse to clear some of my backlog. Really enjoying Wargroove and NSMBWUD
@BumpkinRich so true. My wife will call me out when I take my Switch to wait for a haircut, but everyone else in the waiting room is playing candy crush or some other F2P title. But I know what I'd rather be playing.
Finished my first run in FE3H (Black Eagles 65hrs) I'm now going back to do the church path before Ni No Kuni arrives in a couple if weeks. Reckon I will save the Blue Lions and Golden Deer for when the DLC is released.

@BarefootBowser I am still holding out for a physical release of Senua on Switch, but I feel myself giving in as it sounds so good.

Really surprised there's no Fire Emblem Three Houses amiibo, the 3 lords would be an easy sell especially as you can use amiibo in game.
