Really surprised there's no Fire Emblem Three Houses amiibo, the 3 lords would be an easy sell especially as you can use amiibo in game.

I'm a 30 something gamer with a bit of disposable income but I will never buy PS5 or whatever because my gaming is done when it fits around the family using the TV or when commuting etc. Switch fills this market perfectly and will continue to do so for quite a while yet (I've only just handed over my 2DS to my 8 year old!)

But what are we going to spend our platinum points on if we can't buy games with a small discount on an old system?

Already pre ordered Ni No Kuni, just not sure when I'll find the time. So many good games. Witcher 3 may need to wait till next year at this rate.

Fire Emblem still for me. Has anyone else seen first party physical games are buy one get one half price on Amazon UK, Argos and Game? I've ordered Yoshi and New Super Mario U Deluxe for a bargain!

@TurboTEF The first mention I have seen of "Battle of Olympus" makes me so happy. Me and my brother loved that game, I would love to play it again someday!

If you play for more than 5hours without charging you get a bonus? Thats the only thing I can think of that my original Switch can't do.

Shouldn't the SEGA logo reflected in someone's eye at the end be mirrored? Or were they worried we wouldn't recognise the logo if it was back to front?

So glad FE3H is getting the recognition it truly deserves. Anyone who is still sitting on the fence should definitely get onboard, you won't be disappointed.

Can't stop playing Fire Emblem Three Houses. It has really exceeded my high expectations, an easy 10/10 game for me.

@Tanooki-Time I've never been a fan of changing to classes that just don't make sense for the chatacter, but thankfully this has never been forced in previous games and I plan on avoiding it in this one too.

I'm torn. I love turn based RPGs but have just finished FE echoes and now patiently waiting for Three Houses AND I've got Wargroove and Into the Breach waiting to be played. Part of me wants to buy now to support developers, part of me says wait for a sale...

Finally finished Fire Emblem Echoes postgame and I really enjoyed it, just like the original GBA FE and Sacred Stones that got me hooked in the first place. Was planning on having a break until Three Houses but Baba is You is calling me since I picked it up on sale...

Official Nintendo UK website was £199 when I checked yesterday so don't think they'll be any drop.

@Rob3008 I don't need much encouragement! I have the gamecube original release so maybe it's time to get the Wii out again as I'm not sure my Gamecube would work with my TV now. Then while I'm at it maybe OoT and Majora's Mask....

Can't come quick enough for me. Black Eagles / Edelgard for me as I tend to have a soft spot for axe wielders since good old Dorcas in my first GBA Fire Emblem.

About halfway through Fire Emblems Echoes on 2DS. I put off buying it because I didn't like the idea of the 3rd person sections, but actually it's a great game.

Not sure about this rumour but I would buy a Switch mini for my 8 year old in an instant, it would be perfect for her. If specs are ok then could even see myself getting one as I play handheld 99% of the time

Great news. Hopefully this will set an example to others if it does well, this suddenly becomes day 1 full price physical preorder for me, rather than waiting for an eshop sale.

Playing Fire Emblem Echoes on 2DS for the first time. Getting ready for Three Houses next month. It's been really hard to go back to 2DS after being spoilt on Switch for last 18months.

Been hoping for this for a while. Fingers crossed for a physical release, as this is the kind of game I'll want to keep for years to come.

Have they clarified whether there's local multiplayer on a single Switch yet? Or is it just local wireless?

Just finishing BOTW trial of the sword DLC and then I'll be done with the DLC until I'm feeling ready to start master mode.

I'll be keeping an eye on this one...

BOTW DLC for me. Haven't played it for 6months and the break has made me appreciate this great game again.

I also saw Celeste was on sale in EU until 14.5.19, finally going to get this for sure.

I would love a new SMB or just the Gamecube ones remastered for Switch. Loved the main games and spent so many hours on Monkey Target.

The saddest thing is that I love my switch more than any other console I have ever owned, but I'm thinking of getting a second hand Wii U for the Virtual Console. Why won't Nintendo take my money themselves and bring VC to Switch!

Going to start LA Noire. Not my usual cup of tea but it was a birthday present so will give it a fair go.

None of these for me but I did get Mole Mania for half price using 15 gold points. Was interested in this game after seeing it pop up on the GB best games list and for £1.50 why not?

Finally finished Hollow Knight (44hours, 99 %) so think I'll have a break from Metroidvanias for a bit and start the DLC for BOTW and maybe Into the Breach.

Both my cousins had one and I used to spend all my time playing Super Mario Land, SML 2 and Double Dragon. When my brother finally got a game boy colour it was Pokemon Yellow mainly. I'm still hopeful we might see a "Gameboy Mini" someday...

Still going strong in Hollow Knight, think I'll be finished this week. Looking forward to Silksong but for now I will need a change of pace as it has completely swallowed all my time and attention

Still exploring Hollow Knight and finally got Nintendo Online (as it was free with amazon prime!) so going to gave a "few" games of Tetris 99.

Will definitely be getting this game. Would have been day one for a physical version that I might want to share with others or dust off myself in 5+ years. However with my backlog there is no reason to download digitally until its on sale so on the watchlist it goes for now.

Still completely hooked on Hollow Knight, think I'm in it for the long haul. Then thinking about finally doing the BOTW DLC next for a change of pace.

10hours into Hollow Knight and it is really living up to expectations. I can see how it might not be for everyone but to me it seems pretty much perfect.
