Indie publisher Modus Games has today announced that it will release Remothered: Going Porcelain, the second chapter in the psychological horror series, on Nintendo Switch.
The game arrives as a sequel to 2018's Remothered: Tormented Fathers, a survival horror available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Tormented Fathers was also revealed to be coming to Switch in 2019, although we haven't heard anything of this release since its announcement back in March 2018.
Details are still rather slim for this new release, too, but Chris Darril, Creative Director of Darril Arts and Remothered, has shared the following in a press release:
“I am immensely proud of the success gained by Remothered: Tormented Fathers and even more proud about the collaboration that will give life to the second title of the trilogy. Get ready for something new, something mad, something to be scared of and to cry for at the same time. Get ready to enter a tragic love story.”
This new sequel is scheduled to arrive on all major platforms in 2020. Hopefully we'll definitely get the first entry in the series on Switch before that time.
Have you played the original on another platform? Do you like the sound of more horror scaring its way to your Switch? Tell us below.

Haven't played the first one but the soundtrack is by Nobuko Toda who wrote the Love Theme and other songs for MGS4 so I'm definitely interested!
Oh no, what has Jodie Foster's Clarice Starling gotten herself into now?
Loved the first game on PS4,reminded me a little of Haunting Ground on the PS2.
Unfortunately I got right to the end but failed to finish it..
Does anyone else think the name of this series is just... weird? The original game sounds like it's going to be an MRA propaganda piece.
I remember when the first game, about a decade ago, was looking to be straight-up homage/remake of the first Clock Tower game. It’s really neat to see how it evolved over the years. I have played the first game, but I think it’s the music that I like the most.
Nintendo Haters: “Nintendo is for kids”
Nintendo Switch: “Here’s some psychological horror with a woman who looks like Clarice Starling. Is that what you want?”
Did they squash all the bugs in the original, I remember complaints of sound design issues.
So both games are coming to Switch or just the sequel? I’m a bit lost.
Freudian analysis in the form of a game?
And we thought Panty Party was weird.
@Tandoori I was thinking the same exact thing! Oh, Jodie foshter.....
I had missed the initial announcement, but I somehow knew it was going to happen. Really excited, since I've been wanting to play this for ages (PS2 generation was an awesome time for horror fans, so a "spiritual successor" to one of the greats -Clock Tower 3- is definitely welcome)
Actually the first looks quite beautiful in a gory depressing wonderful way, I hope that comes to switch as well.
Warning this the pegi 18 or M trailer for the first one.

@Wazeddie22 Haunting Ground remake needs to happen! Or Clock Tower.
@SetupDisk Thanks for the link! Don't know why it isn't embedded.
@Jayofmaya Oh I'd go nuts if Haunting Ground or the Clock Tower series got rebooted for the Switch! We can dream..
Remothered is already confirmed for the Switch...
On the main page of the game's website right smack in the middle they confirmed a 2019 release.
