Re: The Legend of Zelda Wii U Has Been Pushed Back to 2017, Will Release On NX As Well

I'm gutted, another year to wait. It would've been a nice gesture to Wii u owners to release it this year for them so they get it early and then an nx port later. I don't think it would've hurt sales, it could even improve them as people would probably want to play it as early as possible on Wii u, then the nx version would appeal to new nd owners and there would be plenty of people who would double dip if it is enhanced. The way they've decided to do it means there is very little point in even having a Wii u version now.

I'm pretty sure that Kimishima said that the NX would be something completely different to the Wii u and wanted to get away from the Wii branding so I would be surprised if there was a screen involved with the controller as that would very much link it to the Wii u. They've not done anything particularly exciting with the second screen which shows that as a feature a second screen has limited use

No one said you should be excited about just a bit weird how angry you are about it that's all. I'm actually looking forward to trying out the controls and also there is a co-op mode, so what if it isn't exactly the one you want but it is there. You must have seen a lot more of the game than everyone else to know how many enemies are on screen. I haven't noticed in any of the stuff I've watched. I think you are being way to hard on it but that's up to you

@rjejr I would much rather actually be playing an action scene than watch it played out in a cutscene with voice acting and when exposition or character development is needed read the text on screen. Some games I like voice acting in and some it isn't necessary, which I feel is the case with Zelda. Playing TPHD has reminded me how much personality can be achieved without voices
