I would but I already got the Hyrule gold one. It's because I would trade it for this one. The scalpers didn't jump on the gold one so I rushed to get it instead of waiting like I should have.
I'm down for more TMS content. Give the series a chance to shine, before dismissing it. I loved how they took usual crossover formula and did something different with the franchises rather then just making a Devil Survivor spin-off with FE elements. With TMS they found a common ground for both series to stand on and shine their best qualities.
I hope it's an option. Whenever gender is an option I usually go male first then female for my second/100% play through. But if it's true I'm going female all the way. We gotta shake up the status quo!
@97alexk Because they thought she had something to do with the localization and censoring of Xenoblade and Fire Emblem. She's a Public Representative and had nothing to do with it, when in fact she's the complete opposite and was one of the loudest ones yelling against censoring them. But she insulted some of them in the argument and GG went digging through her social media records. What they found was lingerie photos and her arguments on child sexual agency on her twitter account that was linked to the official Nintendo account. And if we're to believe some of GG commenters then she also did racier photos with Nintendo products and moonlighted as a camgirl.
@HyruleHero Probably by mid Summer so that the game has some actual sells. If you can't wait I recommend going to the Japanese Amazon site and getting it from there. I bought the individual pack a few weeks ago for MSRP and the shipping came to $8. Totally worth it if you're not into Twilight Princess.
I gotta say I like the layout so far. Basically the discounts and games act more like a bonus to your regular purchases, rather then another way to just buy them. It's mainly for the casual or people who are just catching up with Nintendo rather then the rest of us who've been buying and playing these since they came up. Although I do wish the discount was across the entire eshop rather then specific title. I already have all those game (And I bought them at full price...) so a 40% coupon on everything but newly released games would be a better incentive for both old players and Newcomers so we all would have options.
@zool Well if you want to use that analogy then when you call the plumber then you are asking for their PROFESSIONAL opinion. Now it's up to YOU to know which opinion to go with: Your friend or the professional?
As for the app itself: Meh. I have friends who are going to try it, but I'm not much of a internet social user. I've had a Facebook for 8 years now and I've only posted 6 posts in those years. I perfer to have my human interactions in actual reality then on a phone app.
@allav866 Medli is separate from the wind waker pack. All the packs have characters originating from those games. So it's probably safe to say that the Groose will not be loosed. It's ok I know your pain.
I think if it were real, people were overreacting without getting the details from an official source. Talking about getting rid of their current systems and damning Nintendo. Nintendo is the only company I know that gets people worked up on both extremes of the opinion poll.
There really isn't much point to translating it. Most of the dialogue, outside of Japanese suffixes like kun or san, is word for word the same. An example is Effie: in the English version she talks a lot about getting strong so she can protect Elisse. In the Japanese version she usually says she wants to get strong because she doesn't want to be weak like when she was a kid and then will add wanting to protect Elissa in her B or A conversations. Camillia's conversations with everyone is the exact same outside of they replaced "Ufufuf" with "Hehehe" .There really isn't a reason to play the JP version unless you REALLY need to kiss your 3DS screen or See the sexier swimsuits on the female characters. Because you can still get the swimsuits in this one. For the younger characters you can't see as much belly or thigh skin and there's practically no cleavage. But characters like Camilla and Charlotte are there in all their glory.
Actually there is monetization. You can get coins daily and spend those coins to get cloths and outfits. You can buy coins with real money if you feel that your not getting enough or there's a certain outfit that you want to get before the week is out.
Also for all you amiibo hunters, they're shipping out amiibos too! You can actually find all the amiibos either at their retail price or marked down. Shipping and handling is like $8-$12 which is fair when they ship it over seas and it only takes like 3 days. Got me a Wolf Link amiibo for $12, Lucus for $9, and splurged $18 for Rosalina and Little Mac. Shipping cost $8. It'll be here by Sunday if nothing bad happens.
@zool Maybe because Nintendo has been branching out again in the last year and are focusing their brands on products other then video games. This may come as a shock, but Nintendo started out making toys before jumping into the game development market.
Yes! The Georgia I one is a 30 min ride from me! I heard it plays like a combination of the Ninja Storm and Tekken games so hopefully this will give me a slight edge. Is anyone here going to the Georgia store?
God I remember all of these. I think the only ones I tried actively solve were the rumors involving Mew. I remember hearing that Japan had got Mew through the real life pokemon centers, but the states didn't have one yet. So anything involving Mew was instantly tested, and of course, failed.
@ASonic3582 That's why Robin is the best. Everyone loves Robin. Yeah I think the vocal minority forget that first and foremost that Smash is a japanese game made for the Japanese public in mind. That goes for any game that comes out of Japan. Fire Emblem is popular in the public eye even to the casual consumer. It makes sense that A FE character takes one of the last slot in the DLC roster. FE sales like hot cakes now.
But I'm hyped for the final round of DLC. And the amiibo to follow afterwards. Life is incomplete with an Bayo statue in it.
@rjejr I think your putting too much emphasis on what the figure DOES rather then what it IS: A cheaply priced quality figurine that happens to work with some video games. Where else am I going to get an officially licensed and nicely detailed Shulk statue without paying $250 for an $80 statue on Ebay or commissioning one from a professional for double that price? I've payed $13 for the Ness Amiibo and I couldn't care less if it worked for anything else outside of Smash. I will NEVER get the chance to have something like that for a character that isn't popular in Nintendo's eyes. This is the only way that we're going to get some kind of physical object of our favorite characters.
Also for everyone complaining about Co-op being locked behind the figure, ask yourself this: Do I REALLY want to play a level at the same time with someone else? A game that prides itself on tight platforming and fast pace action? Being played with another player on the screen blocking landing spots, moving faster/slower then the other player, and God forbid, players able to interact with each other. It'll be the NSMB games all over again. It's a novelty mode. Something to be played once with a buddy, laugh at how you screwed each other over multiple times, and never touched again.
Loved it. I'm kinda sad that we have reached the Final Destination of the hype train, but it's for the best. Hopefully this will fuel Sakurai to put as much work into his next game.
I would love for this to happen. Perfect Dark and Conker's Bad Fur Day are worth the entry price alone. Although I HIGHLY doubt we would see this outside Xbone bringing it to the Wii U/NX sometime next year would probably give the game a bigger boost in sales, because that's where the target audience is.
I hope NA gets this version too. You guys get all of the sexy special editions while the Americans barely get three songs on a CD and a soft cover art book.
Yeah the USB stick is a let down. For one it's weird how you have to insert it into the usb port with the gold side up, essentially the underside of a normal usb stick, the DRM is bleh to work with, and it's a poultry 800mb. The ten tracks on there take up the entire device.
I doubt this stuff is going to be exclusive to the amiibo for long. They'll most likely have it up to the amiibo for a month or two, then release this stuff as paid DLC or the more likely option of a patch minus leveling shovel knight. The amiibo itself isn't locking seriously important stuff that makes or breaks the game. So far amiibo haven't locked anything important from a player outside of trivial costumes for MK8 and some challenges in Splatoon that no one really cares about.
I think everyone needs to calm down. Technically the game CAN run on the Wii U. What it CAN'T do is run optimally on Wii U. And for an action RPG that has a platforming gameplay and battle system that relies heavily on timing, every frame counts. Unfortunately, as much as I hate to say this, power wise the Wii U would have trouble keeping the game going at a solid 60fps. Remember it's BARELY more powerful then a PS3 and Lab Zero/505 Games are more of PC developer then a console one so they wouldn't now how to get the best out of the simple architect that is the Wii U. There's more going on then just running 2D animation. There's a whole process that goes on while a game is running and gamers, understandably, forget that.
I will be buying five, actually. One for me, one for my dog, one for my butler Jeeves, and the other two I will use for when I vacation to the Hamptons in my Platinum Gold Yacht.
How come no one mentions that most of Cloud's movement and attacks are lifted straight out of the Dissidia games? I'm starting to feel crazy because no one sees it, but me :I

I'm loving the way how Nintendo is handling DLC. All of it looks like post made content rather then stuff that was already finished, but cut to sell later. It's not needed to fully enjoy or complete the gaming experience, just expand upon it. And it's all reasonably priced. A good example is Mario Kart 8: Three new Cups, 8 characters, New Skins for Yoshi and Shyguy, and 12 new courses all for $12.
I would love to see a Dragon Ball (No Z) game. For one after seeing Akira Toryama's work in HD glory I can see it really working well with DB Universe. Plus it would give secondary characters like Krillin and Yamcha a chance to shine.

@DarthNocturnal Really? Could have sworn they said the only that surviving were the movies. Well I guess they could expand more on his Clone War appearances, but really they should just scrap Maul and make bank on a new Sith Lord. Keep the colour scheme, add more bad@ssery.
Where would he fit in the old and new SW timeline. Yesh everyone calm down. It's not the end of the world if the Zelda series decided to step out of it's comfort zone every once in a while. Not saying it has to be a turn base that focus on Link and Zelda, But what if it focused on a new set of characters that was based around the Zelda lore. I LOVE the Zelda series, but I'm ok if Nintendo decides to break the monotony of their franchises here and there. Remember Mario Rpg? I'm sure if the Internet was around then people would have been losing their minds! "Ewww turn base combat? That's not my Mario game!", "NINTENDO STOP RUINING MY CHILDHOOD WITH THIS TRASH!", "That's it, I'm done supporting Mario games." etc, etc. It's ok to change the formula every now and again. I'm sure some people would like to do other things other than get Master Sword, complete the seven temples, defeat Gannon, End.
If it was an action/turn base rpg set in the Zelda universe I would totally love that. Tecmo did a good job with Hyrule Warriors so why not let some other people give it a try?
Meh. I'm happy for the people who do like Twilight Princess, but I feel that it's the most lackluster of the series so unless there's physical special edition I'm gonna skip this one. The sunrise over Lake Hylia will look beautiful in HD.
I figured out why he kept kidnapping princess peach, I had that Nintendo power magazine, but I do like how in the last 2 or 3 years Bowser has been shed in a more favorable light.

Re: The Current Final Fantasy Director Would Like A Chance To Work With The Zelda Series
If it was an action/turn base rpg set in the Zelda universe I would totally love that. Tecmo did a good job with Hyrule Warriors so why not let some other people give it a try?
Re: Rumour: Data Miner Uncovers Evidence Of Twilight Princess On Nintendo's Wii U eShop
Meh. I'm happy for the people who do like Twilight Princess, but I feel that it's the most lackluster of the series so unless there's physical special edition I'm gonna skip this one. The sunrise over Lake Hylia will look beautiful in HD.
Re: Video: The Game Theorists Explain Why We Should Go Easy on Bowser
I figured out why he kept kidnapping princess peach, I had that Nintendo power magazine, but I do like how in the last 2 or 3 years Bowser has been shed in a more favorable light.
