@Scottwood101 I came to make the exact same comment, Slime-San is awesome and the aesthetic of meat boy and the controls do not appeal to me. Slime-San and the way it keeps developing the game mechanics level after level is truly impressive and free dlc coming soon? Bargain. Tough as nails too. Love it.

@masterLEON Magician Lord is the worst game I own, very badly designed. Its as if the jumping and shooting of the hero was designed for a different game. no enemies move or attack in a way that can be defended. YOu will need a huge pile of 10p's to get enough credits to get anywhere.

Re: ARMS Version 4.1 Is Now Available

@Minch the target game was my biggest complaint of the game, near impossible if you dont have the right (and left) arms for the job! the side ways tri rockets are best (poo against heavy hommies though) so go them in one hand and a bigger glove on the other. the rockets give you better spread and be sure to work in one two combos, avoid grabs. a quick one two and the oints rack up. I tried to play through with masango last week and his standard load out, after 20+ attempts and much swearing at the target stage I figured its time for arms getter. no problem now.

@JoeDiddley true, the badges sounded dumb to me but I want more of them! going to need some +arms if am going to beat grand prix level4 with every fighter...

I rekon there is more content to come, they just started with the events and as they come round (I assume they will be scheduled like splatfests..?..) they would be wise to drop some free stuff just before to get folks in and warmed up for the event. one more fighter for sure, the 'arm' pages on the fighters looks odd with an extra column if only for aesthetics sake!

started playing again last week, not touched since launch, loads ore there to get teeth into, badges help with the moneys which helps with getting arms which helps with getting plus arms which helps with options and kick.. punching arses with different arms.
beat grand prix on lvl 4 but never good enough to meet springtron, still never beat 100 v 1 either, fun times though. for a fighter it has loads of content, not sure why folks complain.

more advice i wish i knew a couple days ago - when assasins start trying to kill you, ignore them, I ended up on some island level 9 where everything kills me one hit. been on this island for about 12 hours. just thought the game was really really hard, turns out I started some dlc without knowing it.

currently waiting for joycons to recharge then im going bck to the mainland, maybe...

@LaVelle thats why I dont read more than the first and last paragraph of any review until I have played it/seen it/read it/listened to the form of entertainment being reviewed.

I have never played Skyrim, tonight its going to get a good session and I am happy as I have, over the years, managed to find out very little about this game other than its awesome and I want to play it.

It was actually on my list of 'great games I will never get to play' since I been traveling and working abroad for seven years. Its catch up time.

Also was watching a livestream podcast last week that had a mario spoiler, a small one but the message board bloew up and the stream died quickly from pissed off peeps.

It amazing how a little off hand comment can piss so much folk off.

a fantstic platformer in the true sense of the word. great simple mechanics that keep getting pushed to new ground. hard as nails in places and addictive as all hell. you will die alot and respawn instantly, no excuse for one more go to clear the screen.

impressive stuff, buy it!
