Attack on Titan 2 Will Be Playable at Paris Games Week

Nope. Bring it to Dublin and I might try it out. Early 2018 I'd imagine is the Japanese release, it could take some time for localisation to take place.

@yeayeanaynay yep, anime's pacing is horrid.

Anime can have some problems with its pacing and characters...BUT the WOLRD itself and the mystery around it keep me hooked, and I want more. SO yeah, I'll be buying this. I wasted tons of hours on the 3DS game, so having a true HD AoT game will be awesome for me.

I bought the first one for Vita and it was very good.
Would also recommend the manga for those that are not familiar with the history.

@Drac_Mazoku I really wanted to get in on the 3DS iteration badly. How did you like the online and general gameplay in your opinion? If this new game is good, I'd like to get in on it this time.

The 3DS game was awesome as an online game where you create and upgrade your characters, while playing with others indeed. It may be roguh around the edge, but the feeling of playing together with 3 others persons, flying around everywhere a la Spiderman, and killing gigantic enemies, it was just too great!

Spent a good 50 hours on the World mode (which is where you create your character) alone, before I moved on to something else, but I was far from being done. Back then the community was active, but today, I cannot say. But you can still play alone, and bring AI controlled partners with you. In fact, if I remember right, this is how you can start learning new skills.

I highly recommend it.

PS: I believe a lot of reviewers back then just touched the story mode and gave their opinion of the game around that. I unfortunately think World mode is locked behind the Story. It's sad, because the story is really not what the game is about. It's all about the World mode, so I would suggest to go through REALLY quickly through the Story, and as soon as World mode is unlocked, forget about it, and spend the rest of your gaming time in this mode.

I’m so ready to own this game.

Attack on Titan part one was pretty fun on the PS4. My son loved it. I'll be getting part 2 on his Switch.

what kind of gameplay does this have?

I enjoyed the first game since it reminded me of my favourite game Spiderman 2, ah, those were good times. Can't wait for this game to come out. Also I hope they release new action figures for new characters that are seen. I've seen a whole bunch of websites selling them. I recently went past one and I thought about buying the Colossal Titan although it's on the more expensive side, could someone please tell me what they think about it, that would be great
