Rising Star Games is bringing Bitmap Bureau's 88 Heroes: 98 Heroes Edition to the Nintendo Switch eShop in October.
The title will be the most complete version of 88 Heroes yet released, packing in the DLC expansions RSG Champions and H8 Made Activate.
The former has eight playable heroes taken from other notable games published by Rising Star Games - such as Rusty from SteamWorld Dig (via SteamWorld Collection), Gunborg from Zombie Vikings, and the Conga Master, from - er - Conga Master. The H8 Mode Activate pack has two more playable characters and eight "hardcore challenge levels" to enjoy.
88 Heroes will arrive in both physical and digital form on 2nd October in North America, while the rest of the world will have to wait until 10th October.

It looks weird though the SteamWorld Dig cameo is cool. I can't help but think of a very watered down Wonderful 101.
88 heroes.... 98 heroes edition? lol
just waiting now for "Super Mario Galaxy 2: Super Mario Galaxy 3 edition"
I'll purchase
"They called the best... but the best were busy"
Haha, I Love that!
If this game gets a good review and the price is right it is a potential must buy for me. I love the concept of each character being unique, talk about crazy replay!!

Poor Rusty
Rockstar just announced LA Noire for switch, spread the word!
@thewoosp you best be telling the truth
I'm interested! Only because they were 3 away from 101.
This looks hilarious. I'll likely get it before the year is out. Need to scale back the game buying so i can beat stuff.
Are they fighting Crazy 88 from Kill Bill?
Disgusting.
The release date works well for me. I'm gonna get this one, it looks like fun!
@faint
Yep. He's telling the truth.
@faint the news is everywhere except on this site it seems, november 14th!

Lol: A reference to the lack of proper third-party support on Switch!
Switch is only Nintendo and indies. Man, almost every day 10 indies get announced for Switch. That's extreme overkill if you asked me, I rather have a few strong retail third-party games like Horizon. Strong games that are longer then 3 hours. What Nintendo is doing at the moment is epic, epic fail in my opinion. Sorry guys!
Don't get me wrong: I am not against indies, indies can be very cool (and this game looks fun too). But they should always complement a proper third-party retail roster, not the other way around. And indies on Nintendo are super expensive!
@Ervex_109 ive just picked it up and its about 27 pound. However its apparantly not suppose be out till 10th but fella said you have it now
