Even in the age of the Internet, with digital wiki guides and YouTube walkthroughs alike, there was still something so satisfying about having that same guide in physical book form, that you could put bookmarks in, highlight passages from, and have thorough maps and item information guides to look up.

Like Nintendo Power, I have a soft spot for the Prima guides and I'll miss seeing them. But yeah, I know, Internet.

On a random note I've been replaying Star Fox. Both the SNES and N64 games have been getting replayed and bringing back fond memories. Also, Smash Bros. for Wii U in preparation for Ultimate.

And a little over four years, the remastered Night Trap is on the Wii U successor. Huh...

I've made a habit out of watching silly videos on YouTube before going to bed, so this will be nice to have. Netflix will be cool someday but this is definitely better than nothing.

I held off on this due to financial reasons. I guess that's a good thing.

I own the original Collectors Edition of Sonic Mania and the Plus content, so this will be a pass from me. However, depending on pricing it might be worth it solely for Mania, for those that don't own it anyway.

It's gonna be something outrageous like Meme Run, and I'm gonna laugh.

I used to think Undertale was a bit overhyped too, until I actually sat down and played it last year. Now it's among the best I've played in the last five years or so. Definitely my number one for this month too.

Due to car troubles, I have to pass this week. Xenoblade will be mine someday though. Oh yes, it will be mine...

I have all of these minus Arms. I tried so hard to get into that game, but I just wasn't feeling it. It looks like people can have a lot of fun with it though so I'm glad it's doing alright!

EDIT: Oh, right. I don't own 1-2 Switch either. But that didn't look like it'd be fun for one person. 😅

Woohoo! I'm doing a feature series on YouTube about the Mario series, and being able to capture footage like this would be so much easier than dealing with my slow laptop.

I love what Telltale does but I stayed away from this at first because of the somewhat mixed reception it was receiving at first. Perhaps the Switch will give me a reason to give it a shot.

I had this on my PS4 through Plus, and I wasn't a fan.

I own a SNES and a Retron 1 so I may have to pass on this, but if the inaccurate sound on the Retron continues to bother me I just might give in.

It's not the Virtual Console that everyone wants, but I for one am glad that Nintendo's arcade history is finally getting the proper Hamster treatment.

Considering Golf Story, but aside from that I'm good for this week.

Bought with little hesitation. Sure, it's not the game I'd be eager to buy but it's so cool playing it how it was originally released. I can't wait for more!

I had bad luck with this game on my Wii U. I rented it through GameFly and for one reason or another, the disc would not read on my console. I loved the demo so I was disappointed that it wouldn't work for me. I blame my disc drive for being dirty, which infuriates me that Nintendo stopped selling the cleaning kit in their online store.

But anyway, I'll definitely be grabbing this after it releases. I'm stoked.

After Mario and Rabbids on Tuesday, my wallet and I have agreed to take a break for this week. Lego Worlds looks like it could be fun later on though.

Heck yeah! Now I can put this Pro Pad to the test.

I'm just getting around to playing Sonic Mania (once my CE finally arrived from Amazon today), so for now nothing for me this week. If I had a 3DS still I'd probably go for Chicken Wiggle because I loved Mutant Mudds and I'm a sucker for level editors.

Good to know but I won't lose sleep over it! But Amazon needs to ship my CE already 😧

I remember downloading the beta on PS4 before it released. Each time I opened it, I got errors and was unable to play it. Even after redownloading, I wasn't able to ever get it to run. So basically, I didn't get to play it because the beta didn't work, and that sent a message to me that the game wasn't worth my time.

Also... On the same page as everyone else. I'd much rather have a South Park port.

The only thing stopping me from getting the Switch version, is the fact that I already have it on PS4. Not a bad review! Well said.

Edit: If you have any doubts and own a PS4, there's a demo for the game on there that's worth a try. I'm sure they'll make a demo for Switch though.

Cool! I'm considering getting this for Wii U because I have it on PS4 as a digital download but it keeps crashing at the same exact moment without fail and I refuse to play it again until the issue gets fixed.

Then again... If the same crash happens in this version I just might not bother.

It was my first time playing this and I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far!

After one level in Mighty Gunvolt Burst, I have no regrets about my purchase. Closest I'll get to playing Mega Man on the Switch for now.

Would it kill Nintendo to drop games like Smash Bros. lower than $42? I mean, I already own it but so many people are put off by those kind of prices more than two years after release.

@DEZn00ts Not the biggest fan of that tone, but I'm being serious. Being able to play any multiplatform console game with other players on other platforms is pretty neato. Of course there were other decent announcements too, but that one got me by surprise.

If they don't support PS4 soon I just might have to cave in and get Minecraft on Switch. This was one of the most exciting announcements for me from Microsoft today.
