After all of the excitement about games coming to the Switch eShop over the next few months, it's time to settle down for the latest Nintendo Download Update details. It's a relatively quiet week (albeit Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle recently arrived but was listed last week) that includes a few retail options - two of which are due on 5th September) - a rather enjoyable "run 'n punch" game and more besides. Let's get to it.

Switch Retail Download

LEGO Worlds (WB Games, $29.99USD) - A title that is certainly eagerly awaited by some, this takes the fun of LEGO games into a creative sandbox environment. The download version is $29.99USD, but you can also get a physical version at $39.99USD which will include two DLC packs right off the bat. Available from 5th September.

R.B.I. Baseball 17 (MLB Advanced Media, $29.99USD) - Very much the accessible action-focused alternative to PS4 exclusive MLB The Show 17, this offers all of the same official teams and players and various modes. We'll see whether it's a home run or a strikeout in a review. Available from 5th September.

Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack (Inti Creates, $39.99USD) - A combo offering that includes both original 3DS games and all DLC; enhancements include HD visuals (in some respects), 60fps performance and HD Rumble. Our review will be with you later today.

Switch eShop

League of Evil (Ratalaika Games, $7.99USD) - A retro-styled action game with 140 levels to take on, it also has a level editor for sharing creations and the ability to download community levels from across platforms. It's addictive, fun and brutally challenging, or so we said when giving it a recommendation in our League of Evil review.

Zed Blade (HAMSTER, $7.99USD) - In this frenetic horizontal shmup you have the choice of three craft with different speeds along with customizable weaponry. After your choices have been made it is time to make a trip around our solar system, turning everything that moves on the screen into scrap metal. We'll bring you a review of this ACA release soon.

Wii U eShop

Annihilation (TreeFall Studios, $1.89USD) - A pixel-based top-down shooter in which you try to resist waves of enemies; also includes support for co-op.

As always Nintendo of America wants you to browse the eShop and check out the official sales and deals website for discount details.
