Here's a better idea. Rather than buying this hunk of junk, just buy a GBA SP. It's backlit, has shoulder buttons, the correct aspect ratio, rechargeable, has the same battery life, comes in multiple colors, can play GB and GBC games, and is about half the price to get.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'd say they worked hard. The highlight of Super Mario Maker 3DS is the 100 lovingly-crafted levels in the Super Mario Challenge, all filled with secrets and reasons to replay levels.

Looks like standard indie game trash.

Also, UCraft is basically pointless bow that Minecraft's on Wii U.

@AlexSora89 NSMBU+ NSLU is functionally a completely different game then the base 2012 game. Sorry, you can't transfer it over.

You can "Quick Save" on the NSMB games, however by the main menu.

@SeriousSam Actually, they are allowing refunds, but at least my call for a refund hasn't been adressed yet (even though I did it back when the Wii U cancellation was announced) and rumors are going around they might not even give the refunds until 2018!

@XCWarrior Janurary 12th isn't going to be a make-or-break day for Nintendo. If the Switch fails, they still have the DS line to continue.

Why should a certain style of gaming be "unacceptable"? Some of my, and most certainly others, favorite games are 2D platforms, such as Super Mario Bros. 3 and Yoshi's Woolly World.

A 3D game isn't instantly better that a 2D one. By that logic, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is better that Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

That kind of backwards logic is what lead to the rise of the Ubisoft cookie-cutter open world game, saying that linear games are objectively worse.

There's also the question of how these games would translate to 3D. Yes, Mario and Zelda translated over well, but how about Kirby snd his signature direction-based attacks that allow for multiple interesting play styles? Look at Kirby 3D Rumble and tell me you could turn that into a game as good as Kirby Super Star or Kirby Planet Robobot.

I'll just stick to my Zelda case I have.

Its an excellent game and it has the best character to ever grace a Nintendo game, so, if you have a Wii U, get it. You won't be disappointed.

Here's a random crackpot theory I came up with that may or may not be true.

If something's been "leaked" about the Switch before the 12th, there's a good chance it's NOT REAL.

I simply love how everyone's acting like we know a ton about the Switch. Let me break down what we 100% do know.

1. The Switch is a hybrid system that can be played at home or on the go and is powered by Tegra.

2. Confirmed titles include Dragon Quest XI, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Just Dance 2017, LEGO City Undercover, Story of Seasons, and some indie games.

3. The Switch portable has a kickstand, headphone jack, and removable Joy-Con controller that can each work as separate controllers.

4. The Switch is releasing in March 2017, possibly on the 17th.

5. Most other things will be revealed in 11 days.
