To be honest, I don't care about fan games. I think their a waste of time when their developer(s) could use that time to make their own game they can profit off of.
There's plenty of stuff to do in the after-game of SM.
And, at least personally, I was fine with SM's more structured storyline because it's Pokémon. I'm still getting the same fun gameplay and how can I argue against a better story? I love Pokémon, and this game is Pokémon, so I love it because I love the essence of what Pokémon is, going on a little adventure, catching monsters, and strategically choose what moves to use at tge right time.
@PanurgeJr Man, I love RCMADIAX's games too. They are stolen, have terrible art, repetitive 10-second music, ANNOYING TITLES, and they aren't fun. What else could you ask for in a game?
@Clownshoes Not necessarily specs, but launh games and how they look, third-party games, information that's actually 100% confirmed. That's what I'm talking about.
Can't someone just enjoy something? And for the record, I do think that the Uncharted series is pretty good gameplay-wise (well, not the first one, but at least 2 and 3).
I mean, the episode itself was nice and the animation was as good as ever, but this just what we've seen in-game. Why couldn't we have seen something with Zygarde? Or at the very least tell a new story about AZ.
Oh well... But, overall, I really like Pokémon Generations. Sure, maybe its due to its plucking at the nostalgic strings, but it was a genuinely good effort and a great watch. Props to the Pokémon Company!
@XCWarrior That's actually a pretty good idea, knowing that most of the games on sale on just small indie devs with their mediocre games trying to push a few more sales... or RCMADIAX.

Re: Deals: Buy a Deluxe Wii U from Nintendo for $200
Good one, guys. Its not if Nintendo's had Wii U bundles with Nintendo Land and 3D World for $225 for years.
Re: Fire Emblem Game's Development Outed By Voice Actor
@therealgamer One has a market of hundreds of millions. One has a market of less than 14 million.

@demonta4 You lost me at change.org.
Re: Devil's Third Loses Its Saving Grace as Online Servers Are Closed
And nobody cared...
Well besides the ~30 people who actually played the game for more than a week.
Re: Nintendo Download: 29th December (North America)
@GameOtaku "Nintendo needs to fix it so older models can play SNES games"
The Old 3DS isn't powerful enough to accurately emulate SNES games.
Re: Feature: The Nintendo Life Game of the Year Awards 2016
@MajinSoul Yep, a lot of people here are quite pessimistically hard-headed.
Re: Feature: The Nintendo Life Game of the Year Awards 2016
I wish I could just tag this to everybody.

Re: Rumour: Intelligent Systems Has Canned A Crashmo Sequel For Wii U
@Not_Soos No, it was a shifting of resources to the Switch.
Re: Rumour: Intelligent Systems Has Canned A Crashmo Sequel For Wii U
Well that's disappointing, I really liked Crashmo.
At least that means IS is going all in on the Switch.
...
That reminds me, whatever happened to Tank Troopers? Wasn't that supposed to come out this month?

Re: Feature: The Nintendo Life Game of the Year Awards 2016
This year in general: Terrible (RIP Carrie Fisher)
This year in games: Eh, it was okay
My GOTY was definitely Pokémon.
Re: Nintendo Download: 29th December (Europe)
If you haven't gotten these discounted Nintendo Selects, stop fooling around and buy them.
Also buy Boxboxboy, because its a good game.
Re: Nintendo Life's 12 Days of Christmas - Day Three
On the third day of Alexmas,
Alex gave to me,
A video to see.
(Why is this site still called Nintendo Life though?)
Re: Feature: A Year in Development - Drinkbox Studios on Finding a Cutting Edge with Severed
Great interview though. Good to hear Nintrndo's a joy to work with.
Re: The Second Global Mission for Pokémon Sun and Moon Has Been Revealed
@ProfessorToad Because the system was create back with Black & White in 2010 and The Pokémon Company wont let go of their precious Global Link.
Re: The Second Global Mission for Pokémon Sun and Moon Has Been Revealed
At least we got 5 special codes from the Pokémon Company that give twice the number of "points" as a usual scan.
With these, you can get 2 Pokémon a day!
Re: The Second Global Mission for Pokémon Sun and Moon Has Been Revealed
Info on Game Sync
Info on Island Scan
Nearly 500 QR Codes for Island Scan
Re: Nintendo Life's 12 Days of Christmas - Day Two
Handmade in the US, but can't ship to the US? That makes absolutely no sense.
Also, this site's still called Nintendo Life.
Re: Review: Swap Fire (Wii U eShop)
The entire concept of the game just sounds headache inducing if you'll constantly be teleported around.
Re: Nickelodeon Allegedly Creating Animated Film For A Nintendo Series
I demand a remake of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
But only if the rap episode is taken out.
Re: Nintendo Life's 12 Days of Christmas - Day One
@ShadowForks crickets
Re: Nintendo Life's 12 Days of Christmas - Day One
@ShadowForks Sorry, but Alex Life sounds better that ShadowForks Life.
Re: Editorial: Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from All at Nintendo Life
Merry Christmas, Alex Life!
Re: Nintendo Life's 12 Days of Christmas - Day One
So... Nintendo Life's going to be Alex's personal blog for the next 12 days?
Should it be renamed Alex Life?
Re: Video: Mega Man Inspired Rock Band "The Protomen" Release Short Film
@Yoshis95 Its connection to Nintendo is that Capcom published a lot of SNES games, which then this band is based off.
A band based on one of Nintendo's third party developers' series is not related to Nintendo
Re: Feature: 30 Essential Wii U eShop Games
@MadAdam81 Yeah, because your in Australia in the hight of a summer day.
Meanwhile, its 69 F on Christmas Eve at 10:30 PM. Who's idea was it to live in Texas? (It was my idea.)
Re: Video: Mega Man Inspired Rock Band "The Protomen" Release Short Film
...Okay then...
Not related to Nintendo at all, but okay...
Re: Feature: 30 Essential Wii U eShop Games
...Its currently 69 degrees out right now, at night.
And I live in Texas.
Re: Feature: 30 Essential Wii U eShop Games
@PanurgeJr Man, I love RCMADIAX's games too. They are stolen, have terrible art, repetitive 10-second music, ANNOYING TITLES, and they aren't fun. What else could you ask for in a game?
Re: Feature: The Nindie Christmas Celebration - Pocket Card Jockey
Can Pocket Card Jockey even be considered a "Nindie" game?
Re: Video: Check Out the Open World Flash Game That Never Was
@Anti-Matter
-_-
Flash is DC...
Re: Video: Check Out the Open World Flash Game That Never Was
@samuelvictor Poochy, not "Poochie".
Re: Video: Check Out the Open World Flash Game That Never Was
Thinking about it now, I'm surprised there's never been any Flash game, no open world game, no beat-em-up, not even an infinite runner cashgrab.
Edit: Apparently, there's actually been 2 Flash games.
1) The Flash, a sidescrolling action game released in 1993 for the Sega Master System and the Game Boy.
2. Justice League Heroes: The Flash, a 2D beat-em'-up released in 2006 for the Game Boy Advance.

Re: Niantic Increasing Gen II Pokémon GO Encounters Over Holiday Period
@LegendOfPokemon The millions who still play the game regularly.
Re: Editorial: The Nintendo Switch 'Power' Debate is Likely Missing the Point
Here's a better idea. Let's wait until Janurary 12th and see what happens, instead of debating over things that might not even be true.
Let's be a bit more positive this holiday season! I mean, Christmas is only two days away. Cuddle up by the fire
and play some Yoshi's Woolly World with your family if you need some cheering up!
Re: Uncharted And Last Of Us Designer Says Super Mario Run Is One Of His Games Of The Year
Been a while since I've gotten to use this.
Can't someone just enjoy something? And for the record, I do think that the Uncharted series is pretty good gameplay-wise (well, not the first one, but at least 2 and 3).
Re: Deals: There Are a Lot of Festive eShop Discounts in North America
Some nice sales going on overall (though its padded out by RCMADIAX games).
I think I'll get D&D: Chronicals of Mystaria; I have been meaning to grab it, and why not do it as 66% off?
Re: Video: The Final Episode of Pokémon Generations is Now Live
That was... underwhelming.
Re: Rumour: A Miiverse Page Has Been Spotted for SEGA 3D Classics Collection 2
There's a chance it could be hacked in. Miiverse has been hacked before.
A Sega 3D Classics 2 would be great, but don't get your hopes up.
Re: Retro: Check Out These Early Prototype Pictures of the Nintendo DS
Its always just cool to see how things change over time. This prototype looks a lot more toy-like than the released versions.
Re: Toby: The Secret Mine is Digging Its Way to Wii U in Early 2017
Cancellation on Wii U and announcement of Switch version early next year, I'm calling it.
Hey, I already called Yooka-Laylee.
Re: Pachter Says Switch is the Easiest of the Big Three to Develop For

Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd December (North America)
@XCWarrior There's over 100 sales currently going on on the eShop. 129 to be exact.
I can kind of understand why they wouldn't do so.
Re: Pachter Says Switch is the Easiest of the Big Three to Develop For
@KirbyTheVampire Oh, I have nothing wrong with positive rumors. The more the merrier.
But... it's Michael Pachter.
Re: Pachter Says Switch is the Easiest of the Big Three to Develop For
On one hand, that sounds pretty believable and would be great if true, but on the other hand... it's Michael Pachter.
