I browsed through the schedule and there are some weird omissions.
No Super Mario World? No Super Mario 64? Not even Super Mario Maker? I thought those where classics.
I've been watching GDQ's for years and I must say all the runners and commentators do everything they can to put on a great show, I encourage everyone to watch a couple runs if you have the time. Also the Yetee is selling multiple video game T-shirts for those interested.
Aww.. I thought this was going to be like how I create AGameAWeek..
It's not.
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy They mix it up to make sure it isn't the same stuff every year... Super Dram World is being run, which is a SMW hack... SMB1 and SMB Lost Levels are being raced... Sunshine is being raced, Galaxy 2 is being run, the DK Country trilogy is being raced, etc... should be a great event.
Surely gonna check some runs, Games Done Quick is a very enternaining event for say the least.
@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Really? No Mario Maker? That's a shame, last year race was amazing! Then again it was made in summer, maybe they are saving those classics runs for the next Summer AGDQ.
Ocarina of Time 3D is interesting. I never knew the game had so many glitches and tricks that aren't in the original Ocarina of Time.
I think this is a great event. Thanks for posting the live feed.
Kudos to the gamers and all those who donate. There's still a lot of good people out there.
Hey, how did Link get larger sized clothes while in stasis?
@KoopaTheGamer Me too neither. And some of them are pretty cool.
@Ichiyama How did his ears get pierced?
@amiiboacid Another good question. Maybe Rauru got bored.
And maybe we should just leave that there (I know I started it, but you know...).
The OOT:3D was awesome! Love AGDQ <3
At least they're playing games wrong for a good cause?
@Solid_Stannis It's not a wrong way to them. As long as they have fun or have a feeling of accomplishment, I see no problem in speedrunning. Games can be enjoyed in many ways.
1 thumb up for the good cause which is definitely worrth it even if there are people who regard speedrun gamers as pointless (in worse cases as worthless), 1 thumb up for the idea and 1 thumb up as the respect I hold for those players. Seriously I have hard time finishing games in normal mode, can't imagine doing it in a speedrun lol
