Re: Hands On: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Is A Heck Of An Emotional Ride So Far

@LittleGhost From my end, I was always interested in RPGs and would start a few here or there but never see things through. Xenoblade Chronicles the original was one of the very first RPGs I completed. Some game aspects fell by the wayside, but the story kept me wanting more. I'd really recommend this series if you have any interest in JRPGs.

Just sitting here reading through the comments, we could get that new Disney game Disney Dreamlight Valley also we could get a look at Hogwarts Legacy, Sonic Frontiers, That Mech Game dont recall the name, Klonoa, LiveALive, Persona, Genshin Impact, and Temtem, and maybe that Krypto Super Dog game, also Mario and Rabbids could be there too, Also maybe surprise announcement of Dragons Dogma 2. Its not that im interested in all of them, but these alone sound like something for everyone. At least i think

Re: Feature: 10 3DS Retail Games That Might Be Cheaper To Buy Digitally While You Can

TheMainMii

@Thomystic I recently changed my Micro SD card out for a 128gb. That way i can be ready as I drop more and more games on to it. Right now is a perfect time to get some of the Atlus games on sale as they are 50% or more off. I think there is something special when it comes to playing games on their intended hardware. So preserving the games whether its digitally or physically.

Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Delayed To Spring 2023

TheMainMii

I mind but dont mind this delay. I was really beginning to believe we might get the game. But the lack of details during that Feb. Direct made me start some speculation. I understand that Zelda takes it time and overall dont mind the delay. Just was getting extremely excited for this year to be "The Sequel to 2017". Oh well good thing Xenoblade 3 is coming.

Re: Soapbox: Even If GTA Trilogy Were Perfect, I'd Rather Be Shooting Balloons And Burying Gyroids

For me I see both games in both lights. Both are open allowing you to make up some random story why you need to murder this person or why you need to plant a money tree. But I think the main point of this article was describing that the world of Animal Crossing, because its so contained it allows it to be interactable even if those interactions are limited feeling connect in a unified world. In GTA many things are interactable, but how those things interact or relate to each other are pretty scarce. Sure they match real life but when the majority of buildings are just there to either stand on or land on it can break the immersion.

Re: Review: Dying Light Platinum Edition - A Solid Switch Port That'll Please Portable Players

@PhhhCough I owned the PS4 version of the game for years and it was one of my favorite zombie games. When I loaned it to a friend, I hoped that I would be seeing this come to Switch. Over the last week its been great. Sure you have your standard drawbacks with the game coming from a more powerful console. But in my opinion this is my most enjoyable way to experience the game. Handheld keeps me playing while at work, then Docked gets me back home on the TV. I am probably about 10 hours in and still get shocked by how good it runs and looks when I'm comparing it to what I remember of the PS4 version.

Re: Talking Point: Do You Have A 'Way' You Play Certain Switch Games?

TheMainMii

For me personally, I play most of my time in handheld mode. But the thing is there are games that I feel are required to play on the TV. The most recent game that comes to mine was No More Heroes 3. It was a game that was designed to let the color and expression to be viewable in the best ways. An older Switch game would have to be Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. I had the game on the Wii and the 3DS but the new look really captured me this time. Stuck through till the very end.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Dying Light On Switch

TheMainMii

To be honest. I had this game on the PS4 and have been wanting to pick it up again. Im really glad to see it plays pretty well overall. I personally enjoy playing whatever game I can on the Switch regardless of the compromises (most of the time). The form factor of the Switch is more than enough for me to spend some good money on the same game again.

Re: Talking Point: The Nintendo Network ID Creeps Ever Closer to Being Fit for the Modern Age

TheMainMii

@electrolite77 Yeah Nintendo makes great games for their customers but they don't seem to put the money into any other means of product(s). They need to take a look at what we want, like they are doing with this next 3DS Update, but on the Wii U. The problem with a form of party chat for the Wii U I see is that Nintendo makes the Home button function as a pause to open other small Apps such as Friends List or The Internet Browser. Thus this holds the game in a certain position, not making the game run in the background such as on the Xbox 360/One and PS4 do. Maybe Nintendo needs to bring an update to change that.

Though Nintendo has started their Network I feel they do still have their ways to go. Small steps in the right direction are great but overall improvements need to be slightly sped up. Though if Nintendo needs the time to correctly get their networking correct I say go ahead and take the time. I would prefer the heads up that something is actually happing. On the other note of Nintendo's Networking I say we NEED A PARTY CHAT! PartyChat is on all new consoles and I feel it is a need.
