Hmm... IM definitely interested, not going to lie. Sonic is my favorite gaming franchise. And the openness looks good. combat is hard to nail down, but looks a bit stiff. Still excited!
Honestly as We have seen time and time again, Nintendo creates the most wild (pun slightly intended) games for their consoles. Being the console and game developers they know where they can twist its arms to work for their vision. Even with framerate issues, there arent many games that Nintendo releases that REALLY struggle.
@Thomystic I recently changed my Micro SD card out for a 128gb. That way i can be ready as I drop more and more games on to it. Right now is a perfect time to get some of the Atlus games on sale as they are 50% or more off. I think there is something special when it comes to playing games on their intended hardware. So preserving the games whether its digitally or physically.
I mind but dont mind this delay. I was really beginning to believe we might get the game. But the lack of details during that Feb. Direct made me start some speculation. I understand that Zelda takes it time and overall dont mind the delay. Just was getting extremely excited for this year to be "The Sequel to 2017". Oh well good thing Xenoblade 3 is coming.
For me I see both games in both lights. Both are open allowing you to make up some random story why you need to murder this person or why you need to plant a money tree. But I think the main point of this article was describing that the world of Animal Crossing, because its so contained it allows it to be interactable even if those interactions are limited feeling connect in a unified world. In GTA many things are interactable, but how those things interact or relate to each other are pretty scarce. Sure they match real life but when the majority of buildings are just there to either stand on or land on it can break the immersion.
Personally I just got the Metroid Posters and thats all good. But I do miss the days of Club Nintendo and the yearly rewards you would receive. But this had some decent rewards. Just started off in such bad light I get why many people didnt even know they did physical rewards
Love that they did this video. Dying Light on the Switch has really resurrected the game for me. I put it to rest on the PS4 years back and somehow they brought my wallet back from the graveyard for another trip around Harran!
@PhhhCough I owned the PS4 version of the game for years and it was one of my favorite zombie games. When I loaned it to a friend, I hoped that I would be seeing this come to Switch. Over the last week its been great. Sure you have your standard drawbacks with the game coming from a more powerful console. But in my opinion this is my most enjoyable way to experience the game. Handheld keeps me playing while at work, then Docked gets me back home on the TV. I am probably about 10 hours in and still get shocked by how good it runs and looks when I'm comparing it to what I remember of the PS4 version.
@WhiteUmbrella I'm not gonna deny that they could and probably should. But in the scheme of things I think that gaming is most often given unique innovations or expressive imagination when there is a limit in place.
@GrailUK This is exactly my though process behind limitations. As well. I think that limitations help breed imagination. Having something limit you makes it so you have to think of a new way to approach things. And having everything given to you to just make things look better doesn't really breed innovation.
@Ventilator Right I was mainly talking games with cutbacks overall. But I'm excited to see them address what they can through the updates they have planned.
For me personally, I play most of my time in handheld mode. But the thing is there are games that I feel are required to play on the TV. The most recent game that comes to mine was No More Heroes 3. It was a game that was designed to let the color and expression to be viewable in the best ways. An older Switch game would have to be Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. I had the game on the Wii and the 3DS but the new look really captured me this time. Stuck through till the very end.
To be honest. I had this game on the PS4 and have been wanting to pick it up again. Im really glad to see it plays pretty well overall. I personally enjoy playing whatever game I can on the Switch regardless of the compromises (most of the time). The form factor of the Switch is more than enough for me to spend some good money on the same game again.
Okay so this could be for Sonic Adventure 3 because 16-1=15. 4+21=25 3 So 15 is fifteen years after Sonic Adventure 2 25 is the twenty fifth anniversary 3 is for Sonic Adventure 3
This isn't surpassing, just really disappointing. If they don't plan on making a WiiU version the last they can do is make a 3DS version. The game originally came out first on the 3DS at least keep the sequel on it. It's not like there isn't a market for those games on the 3DS.
@electrolite77 Yeah Nintendo makes great games for their customers but they don't seem to put the money into any other means of product(s). They need to take a look at what we want, like they are doing with this next 3DS Update, but on the Wii U. The problem with a form of party chat for the Wii U I see is that Nintendo makes the Home button function as a pause to open other small Apps such as Friends List or The Internet Browser. Thus this holds the game in a certain position, not making the game run in the background such as on the Xbox 360/One and PS4 do. Maybe Nintendo needs to bring an update to change that.
Though Nintendo has started their Network I feel they do still have their ways to go. Small steps in the right direction are great but overall improvements need to be slightly sped up. Though if Nintendo needs the time to correctly get their networking correct I say go ahead and take the time. I would prefer the heads up that something is actually happing. On the other note of Nintendo's Networking I say we NEED A PARTY CHAT! PartyChat is on all new consoles and I feel it is a need.
Well Imwith everyone that understands the means of the payment. Producing a free product such as Flipnote for the DSi gave Nintendo ideas of the demand for servers that they needed. Cost comes in to play somewhere down the line with any product free or not. And I'm okay with that.
Can't wait for Pokémon X and Y! I'm going to be in school when this starts so only if at high school they gave you the wi-fi code. But I get out early tomorrow, you know what'll be looking up first thing. POKÉMON X AND Y DIRECT!!!!!
