We've known about State of Mind - a futuristic thriller from German studio Daedalic Entertainment - for some time now, having reported on its reveal way back in January 2017. Well, we're pleased to confirm the interactive neo-noir adventure will be heading to Nintendo Switch in August.
You'll take on the role of journalist Richard Nolan (as well as five additional playable characters) as you attempt to unravel a global conspiracy in a society of ubiquitous digitalism, surveillance and transhumanism. Explore a world with a rich and unique visual style, combining realistic environments with low-poly characters. Oh, and use dexterity, deduction and research to reconstruct Richard’s past.

Looks interesting
I'm waiting for this!
One of my most anticipated releases this year, previous footage had me hyped up, it has a Blade Runner/I Robot/Deus Ex vibe to it that resonates with me better than most other games announced.
I clean forgot about this. Pretty cool thing Daedalic is bringing out.
Between all the games coming out these years trying to be Balderunner, this one really does capture a lot of the vibe well.
Wasn't the creator of this game a Milkshake Duck?
Looks okay, I like the vibe of the game. I'll probably wait for some reviews though.
I like the art style so far — I'd like to know the gameplay style better. Right now, I'm getting a Telltale game vibe
Capitalising the first letter of every word in the headline makes it very difficult to know the games title.
Looks cool. Like the art work and the overall vibe you get from the trailer.
Cool art style, what kinda game is this though? heh
Sweet.
I need this game. I feel like the Switch will catch fire from summer to winter. Spring has been very lackluster.....
Very interested.
Looks wonderful, really like the style, is it a point and click game?
@BoFiS @PsylockeRules I've seen it labeled as Action Adventure
Third or first person?
instant buy.
looks very interesting.
If the reviews are decent, this will most certainly be making friends with some of the other gems of the eShop library on my Nintendo Switch. Love the aesthetics and premise of this game. And I LOVE noire style games to death. Hope the story is as good as it sounds like it could be. Alot of potential in this one to me as long as it has at least an 8 hour campaign.
Been into this one since the fiorst trailer, definitely picking it up.
