Re: Strike! Ten Pin Bowling Might Just Scratch That Wii Sports Itch On Switch

Sveakungen

I have the game and the motion control is actually really good with a lot of finesse. Almost as good as Wii Sports! And the sound and graphics are sharp and look good. Very pure Bowling with some decent mini games.

So for me at least this is a good replacement for Wii Sports Bowling. And the touch controls in handheld are great and since it is using Tate-mode you get a nice and large view of the lane.

@locky-mavo I love the game on PC, (review played it for a swedish site) but there is performance problem on both PC and PS4. And the resolution is said to be extremly low on Switch... probably why they refused to give out any review codes for Switch before launch.

Truly fantastic game! I think the campaign is very entertaining and not to hard nor easy.

There are some bugs the editor, like when using certain sound effects like large explosion, it crashes the Cut scene editor back to Map editor.

And some issues with dragons z-index in Cut scene editor, where sometimes it does hide characters behind it and sometimes not, and that happens randomly with or without Block checked. In my case it was a farmer that was behind and in front of the emberwing.

When Ski Lifts Go Wrong is not very good. Played for a week now and the difficulty is forced since you have to build everything with very short parts. So everything looks like made by tooth picks, and it makes it difficult to build, not because the solution is hard to figure out, but due to the before mentioned problem.

Re: Soapbox: Why I Prefer Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate To World

Sveakungen

I agree to 95%, Worlds lacks some core parts that I love about the series.

Cleaner less cluttred worlds where focus is in on the hunt.

Quirkyness. World have it but not as much and works better in a less realistic setting.

Zones makes the tracking a challange but not to much. World is totally guided or not at all.

Loading times, World takes forever compared to MHGU to start hunting. And more walking simulation do to bigger city.

And in general: The amount of content in MHGU is staggering and it keeps giving even after several 100 hrs.

So you complain about the cost of the cardboard? Yet you get plenty of fun games with loads of possabilities, nice models to build and enjoy the process, excellent interactive lessons on how to build them and loads of nice information how it works behind the cardboard.

And the wheel and pedal also works in Mario Kart 8.

If you enjoy building things you´ll get like 10-15 hrs of fun just getting it all togheter and then all the games etc.

In my book it is great value if you are the target group for those Kits!

Really like it, have that special feeling and depth to the gameplay and progression is rewarding. Gyro aiming is spot on and so far my MP online games was smooth. Also bot support both locally and on internet with progression is nice.

It is kind of sad how people complain on the price, you get much fun out of it and servers are not free to maintain.

Played around 7 hrs so far and really have loads of fun. It is smart, fun and looks great. Every scenario is different and has its own music that fits nicely. There is so much to do both in single and multiplayer. Runs smooth in native res at mostly 60fps and looks and feels really polished, for the asking prive it is a steal in my opinion!

Re: Review: Super Sportmatchen (Switch eShop)

I have the game since launch and it is tons of fun with some friends or family. You can pick any games in any order to accommodate the time you have to play or play a full 10 sport contest. Most sports is requiring strategy and they are quite diverse, but some like the basketball game is standing out as extra fun. Played that one alone for quite a few hours during these week.

There is full of small animated animals and loads of cool details that brightens the mood.

A really nice party game like in the 80´s!

I do think this is a low score if you consider Nintendolifes in general quite high scores for worse games!

Re: Review: Sushi Striker: The Way Of Sushido (Switch)

This game is such a big surprise for me, went from looks funny to damn this is glorious sushi-ass-kicking good. Bought it yesterday and having so much fun. The story is really funny and well made, the gameplay is really deep with 100 sushi sprites to collect and the graphics has a nice style and make for a top notch presentation. 9/10 in my book

Re: Chill Out And Unwind With The Joy-Con Flipping Power Of Zen Bound 2

I´m reviewing playing it right now and this is indeed a quite unique game. The feeling with the gyro in the Joy-Con and the HD Rumble makes the game a tad more difficult but also more rewarding, but most of all for the first time in this series you actually rotate the object in a natural way. You can also use the gamepad or touch. The biggest challange is to use as little rope as possible to colour the object 100%.
