Re: Regalia: Of Men And Monarchs Developers Share Info On How To Cut Down Load Times

I have it and enjoying it very much. The writing is funny and the actual story hold up well. Combat is satisfying and quite deep, with lots of choices. Performance is very good and loading times when installed to the internal memory is good.

The devs are is very responsive and listen to customer feedback. And it fits well to handheld, albeit some in combat text is a tad to tiny.

It is really quite a nice game with loads of fun to be had. I have played it for review purpose the last few days and having a blast. It runs in native 720p and upscaled to 1080p in docked mode.

Framerate is unlocked and scales over a range of 30-50fps. All according to the devs. Certainly is a perfect fit for handhelds and the loading times are short with instant retrys.

I love the joy you feel when you play it, the stunning graphics with so much small details and the nice use of HD Rumble. But I hope they can add higher difficulties for the story mode, certainly must be fairly easy, maybe just up the damage the enemies does and lower the help from the ai players.

Re: Gear.Club Unlimited To Offer 4-Player Local Splitscreen, 1080p At 30fps Gameplay

Looking forward to this one! It’s a very good mobile game and the switch version will be even better for sure. The studio behind it is very experienced in making car games for consoles, with 20 years plus in this industry. They made games like NFSD: Porsche Unleashed and Test Drive Unlimited. The driving feels great on my iPad and even better with my controller connected.

Nintendolife, please do say something about the rumble or lack of it. It’s a very special feature on the Switch and really enhances the feeling when it used properly. Really something you rarely comment on, no matter what game you review (almost)!

Having a great time with the game. The gameplay and feeling is excellent, though I do think the lack of rumble is a tad disappointing. But all in all, this is such a joy to play!

Re: Review: FIFA 18 (Switch)

This is a tremendous leap forward, and a nice foundation for next year. I take a smooth 1080/720p @ 60fps anyday over a bad frostbite port, running at sub HD-resolution @ 30fps. If it proves successful and I think it will, im confident that we will get a fully featured Fifa next year. Kudos to EA!

Re: Project Octopath Traveler Headed To Switch Next Year

Sveakungen

What a feeling! I’m in love. This is a real rpg, no extreme handhelding, epic music, mature storyline and satisfying fightingsystem. Just finished the dancer demo-storyline, and what a treat. The graphic is very nice and with a distinct style. And the HD rumble is great, especially the door and guard breaks. Damn, it really is HD rumble made right...

Will count the days until relese

Re: Guide: Everything We Know About the Super NES Classic Edition

Sveakungen

Actually it's a really nice selection of games. And SNES is really the first console I really fell in love with. NES was nice, but not much more. And with two controllers and 21 games it's a tremendous value. Let's hope the controllers are similar in quality to NES mini. Cause those were almost as good as the original NES controllers.

Re: Guide: Our Favourite Headphones For The Nintendo Switch

@noutBr A Fiio E17K give that extra punch to the sound on a Switch, but for the 3DS it´s pure magic. It really take the sound from 4 to 11, paired with really good headphones. Amps are necessary for way more then just providing volume. It adds weight and kick, clarity and power to choose higher impedance headphones!

I dont really get the problem! Seems like all the kids now days blowing through a game in some hour. I only had time to play Zelda, and now 90 hours later it´s still going strong. Haven´t even touch the other Switch games I have.

Re: Review: Fast RMX (Switch eShop)

Sveakungen

@FlameRunnerFast No! Switch is running native at 1080p and is upscaling if the devs running in lower resolutions or if the output is handheld it downscaled to 700p. And Fast is running at the native res.
