I been sitting on my PS4 copy since launch. At this point, I might wait for this version. The framerate needs to be consistent to be considered though.

I must admit, the demo announcements was a pleasant surprise.

This and Mario Maker 2 were the standout announcements for me. Very excited for this.

Give us a Resident Evil 2 quality kind of remake please...otherwise, I’m good with Octopath and the upcoming Fire Emblem Three Houses.

More content coming is alluring. Anyone know if the (physical) starter pack at $29.99 is worth buying?

This looks great to me and one of the more pleasant announcements today. I hope it reviews better than Lost Sphear and I Am Setsuna though. I’ll stay tuned.

This fills a gap in the Switch’ library. It should be awesome to play with others online in handheld mode.

@OorWullie There’s a great sim on mobile called Real Racing. GRID will be a great competitor.

I need to get acclimated with the game first.

There will likely be one early this month. But, I can't get as excited considering the Metroid news. I hope we get something just as big, revealed and released, this year. And, hoping they release the Metroid Prime Trilogy and SNES games this month.

I want to get in on the Anthem demo, but I don't have a VIP friend code. I'll probably wait until the open beta next weekend. I always fit a few matches on NBA 2k19 in. I might put a few hours into Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn; sometimes, I'm too tired from the work week to focus on lengthy games. And, I'm slowly chipping away at Tales of Vesperia for Switch and Fire Emblem on 3DS.

I want this and Fire Emblem.

Definitely looking forward to this. I enjoyed the PC demo but never got back to it buying it. I’m just going to wait for this version. I have too much to play right now.

In addition to 1st party, I’d want Mortal Kombat 2 with online play.

In this instance, it wouldn’t be best for Nintendo to follow their “history.” A Switch Pro is a win win scenario. People didn’t think the Pro or X we’re going to happen. They did. Nintendo are now charging for online services. Consoles are mirroring PCs more and more. They didn’t before. We can’t unequivocally say a Switch Pro won’t happen until its official.

@HalBailman I think a Switch Pro is coming this year. Specifically to attract more graphic intense (current gen) 3rd party games and same day releases. It won't divide audience if all systems can operate the game, like PCs, just at varying levels. I'd buy a more powerful Switch if I can play Zelda and NBA 2K at 60 FPS handheld or docked.

I think Hollow Knight was the best Indie.

They don’t have enough top-tier Switch games to make this a worthwhile gamble. You’ll probably end up with Outlast or something.

It’s not worth getting into a heated argument people. Play what you enjoy most. It’s all subjective at the end of everything.

This would immediately become the best JRPG on Switch.

If this is a Persona 5 “golden” edition I’m in. I beat the base game, but never completed all the social links. An updated version with more Personas, Palaces, side stories, and secrets would get me back. I want more music too! The “Beneath the Mask” song by Lyn is a video game classic.

I thought the Steam Beta was pretty good. If the full game surpasses that we’ll be in good shape.

I like the cover art for Iconoclasts. I might have to preorder one.

The RPGs and puzzle/story games would be great. Give us:

-The Alliance Alive
-Shin Megami Tensei games
-Professor Layton games
-Stella Glow
-Ever Oasis
-Mario and Luigi series

Looks intriguing so far. Here’s hoping it doesn’t release too close to Fire Emblem.

Tekken 7 on Switch would be awesome. The netcode would need to be great though.

All jokes aside, I'd love a throwback roster like that list entails.

While I agree that the analog sticks needed improvement, the Vita's controls were adequate for most experiences. The tiny Switch' JoyCons are worse than the Vita in my opinion. The saving grace for the Switch is the ability to use the Pro Controller and detach the JoyCons for a potential add-on controller in the future.

Uncharted Golden Abyss and Killzone Mercenary were graphical aces and console level experiences on the Vita. I haven't seen much on the Switch that trounces those games yet. I think proper optimization goes a long way. Dragon Quest 11 could've been done on the Vita. Also, if the Vita received enough consumer support, we could be experiencing a real beast of a Vita Pro or something by now.

I’m a day one Vita owner too. So, you’re aware of quality Vita games. My point is, the Vita had enough power to propel it to greatness like the Switch. Unfortunately, Sony didn’t have the Nintendo level brand power with parents and kids. Dragon Quest could’ve been done on Vita. Poor sales wouldn’t allow it.

Actually the Vita was criminally under appreciated. It has great console quality RPG games like The Trails of Cold Steel series.

Great for them. I still haven’t beaten it, as it was ‘shelved’ for other games. But it’s a good game. I look forward to the additional content and potential sequel reveal next year..

Due to many Holiday sales, I have a mountain of great games to choose from. For Switch, I’ll dabble in Smash, Guacamelee 2 and Okami. I also just received my physical Switch copy of Yooka Laylee from Limited Run Games. Otherwise, I’ll be playing Astrobot VR, NBA 2k19, Devil May Cry 5 demo, Hitman, Horizon Zero Dawn, and maybe others.

I’m just going to (eventually) play my PS4 version, which has been in my backlog since launch. I would prefer a simultaneous release of a new RPG project.

I’m mostly physical for large action and story based games. Plus, Nintendo games hold their resale value very well. I use digital downloads for Sports and Fighting games and Indies of course. Although I have bought some physical Indie games from Limited Run Games (West of Loathing Collectors Ed and Yooka Laylee).

By the way, using an iPad sucks on this poll. The entry line keeps disappearing. Obviously Smash Brothers or Octopath are the Switch GOTY 2018. As for 3DS, I voted for Radiant Historia, The Alliance Alive and Shin Megami Strange Journey Redux.

2K deserves credit for NBA 2K19. It plays well on Switch.

I’m part of the Apple share, although I haven’t played much of it.

You better pickup Elder Scrolls, Doom, and Xenoblade at those prices. Probably the last sale on these games for a long time.

Not a fan of these $5 -$15 games getting physical releases. I think bigger games like Yooka Laylee justify the effort.

It has to be Dynasty Warriors. They breathe, eat and sleep Dynasty Warriors.

That’s preposterous. They could easily print a digital code on receipts too. Why not? Seems like they had a limited number of discount bundles they allowed. Wal-Mart did a similar thing with the $199 PS4 bundle by “pseudo” selling out.

Laptops still going strong? Imagine what the real Pokémon RPG will do next season...

The game is on sale ($19.49) for the holiday weekend. That hopefully mitigates the microtransaction issue. So, I think I’m in. I really want an arcade style sport game for the Switch.
