Japan hands down!

Honestly might do better at a digital only exclusive/release like a few movies have done recently. From what I hear they have been very successful and I can't see them making more then 100 million worldwide off this. Not sure what the budget is but that can't be good.

Wonder why Zelda is at zero percent.....I would've picked it but not because it was a bad game. More because I would like to see it updated.

@rjejr I dont put Paper Mario and Zelda in the same category. They will normally hype a big time release for a lot longer then a couple/few months.

While I would like to be wrong why would Nintendo not hype up this game at the start of the year if it was that far along. Still can't see this happening this year unless the scope of the game is much smaller then the first.

She has become a tool. I got so sick of her announcements that I just button mash through them. They could at least have her announce who is on the island that day if nothing else.

Like I said day one this all smelled bad. Happy for those that wanted the game on the Switch but this game was coming regardless of the kickstarter.

Looks good and the price is right. Now for the reviews.

@TG16_IS_BAE Tbf I don't think even Nintendo thought they were going to get this level of 3rd party support. I've played most of Virtuos games and they all run well. They can do a better job and perhaps were forced to release it earlier then they wanted to.

Must mean it sold well enough. Remember when the Switch version of Bloodstained outsold all the other versions and they quickly said they're working on a patch?! Hopefully they can get that frame rate closer to a stable 30 without sacrificing the visuals.

With all that's going on in the world we need to complain about this?? If it wasn't brought to my attention I would have never noticed.....

I've got zero connection to KH music. Loved me some Theatrhythm though.

@playstation_king Playstation numbers are far from bad in Japan. When it first hits I doubt they will be able to sustain constant numbers but to my knowledge every Playstation system has sold over 10 million in Japan. Ever now when games are released same day on Switch and Playstation 4 Sony usually ends up beating out Switch in copies sold. Never by a ton but it shows Japan has never left Sony.

Just look at those pathetic Wii U years yikes! Would be even worse if not for the 3ds keeping them afloat for those years.

Um, Star Fox is on the Switch?! Might not be a Nintendo made game but I think many would argue in some ways Starlink is better then the last 2 to 3 Starfox games.

Oh and can we all just agree there was never a stand alone Starfox racing game. Isn't it rather odd that Starlink had a grandprix racing mode added as dlc. I'm pretty sure those saying there was a racing game just assumed it was Nintendo making it or outsourcing it.

This is the type of Pokemon I can get into!

@rjejr Definitely not. This is just going over something we already knew was coming. With this launch perhaps we wont see anything more this week. Forgot about that dlc coming out this week. They wont want to bring any big news out this week to spoil it.

This looks more like Nintendo finally made a Zelda Maker and this is someone's creation within the game. If you replace the main character with Link is there really a difference?

What if I'm not interested in any of them? They look alright but not what I wanted in a Mario set.

That's because it's on every platform available to man and women. I think I played it on my Casio calculator watch when I was a kid. 😝

@Heavyarms55 Except Zelda wasnt made with the Switch in mind. It was more of an afterthought. BotW 2 will be a different beast all together.

This looks fun if not a bit generic. The price is right so I will wait for a review.

At the very least that's how you do a trailer. Plenty of game play and there's no doubt what I would be doing. I actually think it looks decent. If it scores at least a 7 I will probably get it.

For once none of them look bad. This week is entirely based on preference. I went NA just because there's more to look at and like the art work.

I literally guessed on all of them and got 10 right. Got the first 9 right somehow then the bottom fell out.

Wow, that was so good I would watch more of that. They did an excellent job!

Is it sad to say that doesn't look half bad?! My have they fallen but this game has potential.

@SwitchVogel I can actually relate to that. When I first got FX2 on the Wii U I was obsessed with getting first place on every table. I enjoyed pinball so much and found out I was actually good at it so I started with my favorite tables and went from there. Took me about a year to get just over half of the first place scores but then I started to get burnt out. Checking daily to see if anyone had taken one of my scores and then having to get some back became a chore and not so fun.

It got to the point where I was nearly playing the tables to achieve high scores and not play the tables for fun. I would quickly learn what to do to score the highest I could and just continue to spam that over and over again and not play the table the way it was intended. I eventually burned out to the point I didn't want to play pinball for a good long while. Games would last 5 to 10 hours and it felt more like a job to me then a game.

Sorry for that rant as what you said made me think of my own experiences. At some point you lose what you loved about playing certain games just like you said.

@Tasuki Yeah I know but that wasn't even the real intent of the game that's why I figured it wouldn't win.

Why is NA winning? That's a bad cover art. Japan should be winning by a mile and no way EU should've won last week either.

Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2 remake, bloodborne, and I could go on and on but I'll stop now.

Switch and Xbox One only? You don't see that every day lol.

If I walked into a store now here today and saw those prices I would walk out with about $10 to $15 worth of consoles just because I couldn't resist those kind of deals. $50 if games are like just as cheap.

@RiasGremory I think they already did what they intended to do. I played the game after the patch that said most of the issues were fixed. If I played the better version I dont even want to imagine what it was before that.

I wish they would just go the full price and use a bigger cart for release. I would gladly pay $60 for any of these collections if all or most were on the cart. I'm still getting them all just not right away. No way I can justify spending $150 on games when some will just sit there till I get to them. They almost said we know you will pick up one of these and maybe the others down the road on a sale. If I'm not picking them up in a months time I'm for sure waiting on a sale.

I beat this not too long ago and performance was good the first half of the game. Then there was one area that was just downright bad to where the frame rate chugged. After that area I noticed the frame rate didn't hold up as well in the later stages. I still enjoyed the game but if it had started that way I might not have enjoyed it nearly as much.

@RupeeClock All that makes sense and I guess I didn't really think about it. My frustration with the sticks far outweighs my thinking of the reason to include them.

@RupeeClock That's fine by me. You know how many times I've clicked that in by accident. While most games dont matter the few that do sucks when you press it by accident.
