@Ulysses yes, it’s awesome! I’m hoping we see him with more followers than just monsters, too. Like the many Yiga spies who were loyal (or was that just to the calamity specifically?). I feel like we never see him with other non-creature underlings.

@MegaVel91 yep, Ganondorf is honestly the recurring character with the most designs, and that’s not even counting his beast form. Other characters typically just shift to fit the art style but Ganondorf has a whole new closet, hair and makeup team for every game he is in. Look amazing.

@Lizuka what I really love is that he has so many unique designs and although Link and Zelda change to match the artstyle of a game they generally stayed the same til botw. But Ganon changes from robes to this amazing thing, to hair that never quits… he has so many iconic looks!!

I believe there are some things you’ll never be able to complete in the NSO version, like the hall of fame statues.

The most interesting character change to Mario for me was that he is trying to prove himself. It was refreshing that amidst him obviously trying to save his brother and the world, his family’s approval just hit differently at the end.

And of course, Luigi got the approval of Francis, equally amazing lol.

Now I need Francis in Mario Kart Tour

Oh and if I could change one thing: replace serious voiced blue toad from the council for Toadsworth or Toadette. Just wasn’t a fan of him or his voice.

ALL THE SPOILERS, be warned

A great movie but it felt more for kids specifically than I thought it would. I appreciated all the Easter eggs, they did them very well, and I was often reminded of little things like that in the 1993 film like the Wiggler cabs.

However, I don’t see myself rushing to watch it again or own it. Comparing the two (I know, I’m awful) the Sonic films are just more rewatchable as an adult. I was eager to own both of those as they came out. I’d gladly turn this on for background sound or if I’m really bored but it felt closer to Minions level film than I thought it would. Still awesome though!!

I am so glad Bowser wasn’t as terrifying as they alluded to in trailers. And I’m proud to say I called the end credit tease exactly!

If I had one complaint? The Luma joke overstayed its welcome entirely. I’m unsure what part of the fandom, the franchises, the characters, they were referencing but it just went on too long and I kind of rolled my eyes when he came back at the end. And of course I kind of wish Luigi had a little more to do, like outwit some Boos or something before his capture.

I actually loved the Kong kingdom stuff a lot. Both Dk and Cranky were awesome. DK saying “well your dads right!” got me rolling.

The brothers’ connection was flawless. I was so happy anytime they were together!

For some reason, the way this game was advertised I (incorrectly) assumed it was like a Warriors/Heroes type of spin off game. I think it may have had to do with the link rings with legacy characters.

But I am seeing it is actually a “new Fire Emblem” game. I think I need to check it out, especially now that the DLC is not just extra ring characters.

You should clarify that it is only included in the DIGITAL version of Rare Replay. Those of us that have the physical disc only don’t get GoldenEye.

This company has such a distinct history of discounting their games so much in the eshop that I have no incentive to buy them at release anymore. I’m getting the rabbids game, but it’ll be the complete digital edition for 19.99 or less.

It’s a bad practice for the business that turned into a bad expectation from me the consumer.
