MM 1-10, MM&B, the PSP remake, and the arcade games in one. MMX 1-8, the RPG, and the PSP remake in the other. Alternate versions of all games, too.

There are no reasons with today's technology to not have everything this time.

I could go for a Mega Man Zero 5.

Anyone complaining probably hasn't played the best Inti-Creates games. Mega Man X1-3, Mega Man 9, and Mega Man Zero 1-4 are all incredible games. If you've played them I can't imagine not being hyped up for this.

Definitely interested in this.

It's a modern Mana game so I don't hold much hope for it.

I question about mourning for Contra 64 since by all accounts it was probably Legacy of War which is an abominable failure of a game.

A lot of classic 2D series got hosed in the 32-bit era.

@belmont Gaming PCs don't need to be upgraded all the time. They are also more powerful than the current consoles and are upgradable if you WANT them to be. In the long run a gaming PC is cheaper than buying all three systems.

Also, I don't like modern Square so Final Fantasy XV has no real appeal to me.

I see no real reason to get anything beyond a gaming PC yet with my Wii U. I'm honestly not sure why more people don't just get a gaming PC.

Yoshi's Island on the SNES is an incredibly easy game, folks. The ONLY challenge came from 100% which looks to be the same here.

I would be more concerned with the developer's track record of boring level design and poor music before worrying about difficulty.

One of my most anticipated games.

DKC2 is still one of the best games ever made and Tropical Freeze might be better.

I think the total sales of this generation from all consoles are going to surprise a lot of people. And not in a pleasant way.

I was just thinking this after playing some Tropical Freeze. Nintendo has some of the best game soundtracks so why don't they make some easy money?

As someone whose favorite genre is and always will be the platformer, this has been on my radar since its announcement.

The BEST genre.

Treasurenauts is the style of game that I like the most and the type of game few third parties make anymore. Without a doubt I will grab that day and hour one.

So I guess we should expect Yoshi revealed on New Island's release date.

I sure hope Dixie is still on the way, though.

The level design is clearly better in the SNES version. The levels are simply not very fun in the Genesis version.

I do wish Capcom would put Strider on the eshop. Shame they won't since DuckTales did so well for them.

I can't stand the DS Zelda games and NSMBDS is simply not that good compared to the other NSMB games.

Contra 4, Henry Hatsworth, Sonic Rush, Space Invaders Extreme 2, Elite Beat Agents, Aliens: Infestation, Retro Game Challenge, Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and 999 would have been a better top ten to me.

NES Trojan would be nice. Come on, Capcom, you're got a ton of old school classics.

Contra NES is a classic. That one needs a re-release badly. Too bad Konami hates the game and refuses to release it.

As far as I know, platformers have been doing that for near 30 years. Has he never played one before?

I'd really like a big 16-bit remix with 16 SNES and 16 Genesis games split down the middle each with "console war" style challenges that cross-over into the other system's games. Like imagine a Sonic challenge where you have to run over Mario in a spindash, or a Shinobi 3 challenge where the boss transforms into an Arwing.

A 16-bit Remix like that would be awesome.

I wasn't blown away by DKCR but still thought it was a great game. This one looks much better and more up my alley. I appreciate the review, especially because there was no masked "I wanted Metroid, this is not Metroid, so 5/10". Unfortunately, the industry is now more about politics than enjoying games.

Here's hoping for Retro's next game to be a third DKC game!

Third party GBA games, please. Then get Sega, Natsume, Capcom, and Konami on that.

Not really interested in the Super Mario Advance games when the Super Mario Advance games are simple ports of games already on the VC.

Better them than Baby Rosalina, Baby Wario, Baby Toad, Baby Waluigi, Baby Koopa Troopa, Baby Shy Guy, and Baby Dry Bones.

I'm glad to see the roster is getting better again since Nintendo realized they have so many characters to choose from.

It's pretty good. There's a lot of strategy here and it's got a lot more to it than the original Steel Diver. This should have been the original game.

I guess SNES Yoshi Island is never getting re-released by this point.

Oh, I liked the presentation I was just mentioning that the lack of Mario 3 is strange when 3DS got a couple of "after the presentation" games and Wii U got none. It would have been an easy thing to do.

No Mario 3 is incredibly odd. It would have been an easy release and would have at least given Wii U owners a bone.

What I want: all the old VC systems re-added with new ones from Sega and Amiga.

What I expect: Super Mario Bros. 3

So '90s. It goes back to the simpler days of gaming while still retaining a sense of whimsy. It also looks like a lot of fun.

If only the rest of the industry was still like this outside of Nintendo.

I hope Contra fans will at least make a noise on Miiverse. Konami needs to stop ignoring one of their best and most important games.

It's hard for Super C to be "forgotten" when Contra has yet to be re-released THREE times like the sequel has.

A shame no one in the gaming industry will ask them WHY they refuse to release a classic, though.
