Ohh, it is a scorechaser game. Alright then i guess i will pass on it for sure, that is just not for me. Hope other people have fun with it and i am glad i read through the comments!
It was alright, enough to keep it interesting for me. But certainly nothing that really hyped me up big. It seems like i do get an interesting game for me every 3 months or so until 2027 , so i am content
I would like to have a Fire Emblem Release date, Zelda, Donkey Kong Country and something Xenoblade please. Actually, throw me a super smash bros inside too and i am happy
I do like to get invested into the world and feel immersed while the story itself can be quite simple. I would generally put gameplay a bit over it, but just gameplay would also not be enough in a zelda game if the feeling of everything else does not match. For example i wanna feel chills when exploring an amazing dungeon, have some great epic moments from the music or the visuals which was TotK's strong point i would say. But if i really cant get behind the story and kind of already know what is going on, it takes a lot of the excitement out. Besides good gameplax is useless to me if it affects gameplay that i never cared about (like building yourself anything you like). So there is that
Underrated game in my eyes, the music and musical design are impeccable and make me remember moments from the game for quite a while. Gameplaywise it tends to get a little stale, especially after a while, but the story and lore tidbits along with the music makes this an experience you will at least partly remember i am sure
Slightly worse than the first one for me. A 4/10 but the music was great and well the animation as usually good. The way this is going, they might just call the next movie the super smash bros movie and let all of the nintendo characters fight the big bad, avenger style
a solid direct to me, a new Mario&Luigi game, Echoes of Wisdom and a new trailer for Metroid were probably my highlights here. That said, nothing really got me hyped up too much this time
@BodkinDQ Personally i think Engage was the weakest entry since i started Awakening. I mean sure it had the best map gameplay and animations but literally everything else was questionable. What about those minigames or the ring gacha? What about that horrible story that had the tension of a deflated balloon... I am not sure what is there to like about the characters either to be honest, i could not stand most supporting discussions with that amount of cringe. There is also the very real question about the graphical style... and i didn't even mention the lack of awesome Music like idk God Shattering Star, Twilight of the Gods, ID Purpose yet.
Granted, i am not the biggest Strategy person and usually only play on normal either quite enjoying the story like in shadows of valentia or some relationship stuff, but having neither of those does not seem like the answer to the way i like the Fire Emblem Series. These are most likely a lot of personal problems mixed inside there but this game is certainly not without its issues.
Coop!? Perfect, it is the only thing i would have wished for. But new Environments sounds awesome as well. Seems like a great DLC to me. I might finally get myself to finish the game now
I didn't expect them to make such a big step and the the story together. But i certainly hope for a nice epic postgame finale like in the first game, that is what i am most excited for. They already seem to have improved on the terribly grindy aspect a bit, which was really the most off putting thing about the game. With Square Enix games i tend to focus only on presentation anyways, in my experience that is what they usually do best when trying
I am not one for double dips, so unfortunately Prime will be a pass for me, as good as it looks. TotK, Octopath Traveller 2 and Xenoblade 3 DLCs are no brainers for me. Splatoon 3 DLC is not interesting for me as well, but i am maybe gonna pick up the Baten Kaitos remasters...Raincode is also a certain buy! I ultimately decided against Bayonetta Origins, a bit too costly for what i am expecting, but who knows. Great Direct though!
Personally i played some of the best games in a long time on Switch this year, here are my Top 5: 1. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 2. Omori 3. 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim 4. Live a Live 5. Kirby and the forgotten land Bayonetta 3 and Persona 5 royal would have probably been somewhere in there if i had gotten around playing them
@nkarafo Interestingly enough it is the opposite for me largely. That awesome and difficult final boss was worth the hours of grinding. It took me ages and was frustrating and unfair as hell. But once i beat it, it really felt soo satisfying. Although i just hate the fact that you have to beat all those 8 bosses again and again beforehand... Now that was just tedious
I thought it was great, bordering to amazing 8/10 for sure. We got a Switch version of tunic coming soon in an already packed month.
Sifu was a game i already had big interest in was an epic games exclusive and it is also coming so soon in November!
We got a new Mainline Fire Emblem title just like that and it wasn't even the highlight of the direct with a release date in January.
I know this one is small but i love rhythm games and thus really enjoyed the announcement of Theathrythm featuring so many great songs really.
We got a trailer to Octopath Traveller 2 which totally hyped me up! I greatly enjoyed the first one and if they really intertwine each story a bit more it could hold up a bit better in the story department.
There was also the completely surprising announcement of the Fatal Frame game which is a series i wanted to get more into after maiden of black water. It really deserves more recognition and i didn't expect to see another mainline game on the switch at all.
We got a pretty interesting looking trailer of Raincode. I never heard of the game before, but i played Danganronpa and if the mystery and wackiness part is only remotely similar this could be a very good game.
Even that small little announcement of Ib coming to the Switch looked interesting
I will probably even get It takes two and Kirbys return to dream land to play with friends.
And of course lets not forget about the Release Date for Tears of the Kingdom. Really now, i get that there was a lot of farming games and jrpgs but there were also some great gems in between. There are sooo many interesting looking games in the next few months in my opinion that i am a bit baffled that nobody finds at least some stuff they enjoy. But i never really got too much into the leaks so i really didn't know much about those supposed Zelda and Metroid remakes until after the direct
@Andy77mk I can see your points and you might very well be right. And yeah, there is nothing definitive here. Guy is just answering questions as to what he imagined would be good roles and fitting directors. Personally, i wouldn't like to see a No More Heroes film, but rather an original film idea he could work on, maybe in cooperation with James Gunn. Maybe even something within the No More Heroes Universe. That would make watching the film a lot more interesting and he could focus entirely on one medium to see its strengths and weaknesses before he starts doing an actual No More Heroes movie
@Andy77mk It probably just comes down to personal preference and what you expect from a movie like that. I can understand James Gunn to an extent since he worked together with Suda51 before, but Ryan Gosling as Travis? Since when does he play goofy roles with questionable morales and why would he agree to this movie anyways, from an economic perspective it is probably going to flop. No more Heroes is niche already and if you are just trying to make an entertainment comedy out of it, who is gonna watch that? only like half of the no more heroes fanbase at best? I just don't see it working out to be something interesting for me personally i guess but truth be told, i am just not a fan of Gunn's movies either so maybe my opinion is just attributted to that fact
I don't think it would be a great movie with those actors and directors. That is exactly why Video games keep becoming bad movies. Besides the translation of that medium just doesn't work very well from the start, at best it is gonna be something mediocre that people can laugh about when turning the brain off, but whatever. Let the man try and see for himself
I wonder if Yoko Shimomura is gonna continue for this game. I heard, that they already had to persuade her quite a bit to make her return the last time
@tabris95 Its really good you are right, personally i prefer DKCTF's OST, but i would have liked to see it in a top 25 list maybe. It's really quite hard to nail it down to just 10 with so many games on switch... I could also see The house in fata morgana in here and that one is arguably even more niche
Actually, for a potential part 2, next to xenoblade i would also add: Donkey kong country tropical freeze (since all star works) fire emblem three houses ori and the blind forest/will of wisps Zelda, Skyward Sword Octopath Traveller Obviously Smash bros ultimate for the sheer collection Doom and maybe Monster hunter rise as personal preference
I did not expect this for moon studios, but i guess it can happen anywhere. It's really a bummer and i hope this can be resolved in a non-controversial way in the end

Re: Review: Star Fox (Switch 2) - Stays On The Rails, But Absolutely Hits The Target
Seems fine, but i think its not interesting enough to try it out. I rather save for Fire Emblem. Maybe i get it some other time second hand

I hope this game is physical, if yes, then i would buy it here instead of Steam i guess
Re: Every Nintendo Switch 2 Physical Release With The Full Game On The Cart
Is this list still being updated? Or are there no confirmed switch 2 physical games anymore, right now?
