Don't really know why people defend the name so much. It is not only that the name itself is really bland, but just putting together two boring words like triangle and strategy is just a hassle to say. Furthermore this is already the second game with that weird naming convention and nobody enjoyed the first name as well, the fact that this is already their second game where these discussions are being made should already make you think

Triangle Strategy, Bayonetta 3 and BOTW 2 are the only ones interesting for me this year.(unless by some weird miracle prime 4 gets released as well). This will be a fine year for sure!

@moodycat I actually didn't like Metroid Dread as well, and never played MH rise as i am waiting for the PC version. Still, there is SMT V and Disco Elysium this far up and that pleases me

I like that list mostly, curious in that i don't know a thing about Quake

Day one purchase right here, since the developers are from octopath traveller i don't really expect too much from the story. More from the presentation, difficulty and battles though

@NinChocolate While it sounds fun at first glance, this could get annoying quickly and lead to a lot of frustrating deaths

I mean, it doesn't look too bad, but my interest in Metroidvanias has wavered a bit over time, so there would have to be a bit more to keep me hooked for this

I feel like the Indie presentation featured a trailer with some different scenes

Somehow, i lost track of this during the presentation but looking at the gameplay and story behind it now, i think it will land on my wishlist

@JustMonika Totally agree with you there, especially if they are making a list of best Visual Novels on the Switch

They are only taking in Visual Novels, that they have actually reviewed, therefore i can understand where this list is coming from. Still, i remember there being an article about The house in Fata Morgana once and of course Clannad and Yu-No belong here at the very least.
I get that people want more gameplay, but the classic Visual Novel formula is not prone to that, you are better off playing an adventure game instead.
Edit. Just wanna say that there are still quite some good games on the list, despite all the complaining : D

Potentially really interesting if done right. Never played the shmup game but Kakegurui is quite good with all its gambling games and borderline crazy characters.
Definitely keeping an eye on this, the gameplay could be a nice change of pace even in the long run of reading this stuff, maybe a bit less repetitive as Gnosia got for me late game

Personally i like Nioh and Sekiro over the Dark souls games though

Furi is really all about that skill. Not gaining any abilites throughout the game at all, it is one of my favorite games and i can't recommend it enough if you search for a fast paced boss rush game, it is no soulslike though as most others from this list. I would recommend Katana Zero as well, if we are talking about "git gud" games.
In general i recommend changing the title from soulslike games to something else as people might get the wrong idea in what they are expecting.
That said, i really love this list in general!

Oh, didn't know tormented souls was gonna come to switch. Played it on PC and as long as they don't screw up something with the port i can highly recommend this for fans of old school Resident Evil

@BloodNinja Fair enough, i can understand that point of view, especially online. This might be one of those time where it is unnecessarily mean though, or maybe i am getting a bit preachy now, it is late over here, i am really sorry.

@BloodNinja I did not mean to make playing his games a point of argument, that was just a bit of irony on the side. It is not sakurai doing anything, i just don't see any reason to complain about him complaining by random comment users.
It was meant as an appeal to be a little more nice to people on the internet in general, sure there are always negative or positive reactions when you are online. Still got every right to complain in my eyes, as it would annoy me as well. he says something, people apparently repost it with a quote he never said, then he says he doesn't like it. I fail to see the problem with that complaint.
Maybe it just comes down to opinions though and we can agree to disagree

Some of those comments could do well with a little more compassion. Guy works tirelessly to improve one of the most popular nintendo franchises and complains about fake information being spread about him as well as weird usages of his Identity. Then there are some people who have got nothing more to say except: "stop whining!".
The only thing making his problems hard are people who comment like this and laugh about it, all the while continuing to do just the opposite. It's just not funny

Really enjoyed this direct. Can play SMTV, metroid dread, danganronpa and i guess i will try my hand on the fatal frame game as well. Maybe wario ware too if the price is right

@Arcata did you try changing the difficulty? I am no big strategist myself and sometimes just enjoy to overpower enemy armies, no shame here. Bigger shame if you like the game but don't get into it because it is too hard

@The-Chosen-one That is quite a bold opinion there. personally, i loved the style of twilight princess a lot more, especially when it came to enemy design

The House in Fata Morgana, although i am not sure if play is the right word. So far, it is a great read though!

I am curious in whoever cared about the big story in a monster hunter game, maybe the lore if you are a fan but the story? I just know MHW though so i can't really talk.
Never used Voicechat on Pc so that is fine and i guess those Updates are gonna fix Endgame in about a year.

@Medic_Alert Just a question: Did you only play the older ones? Because i used to think almost exactly the same until World. Just saying that maybe it got fixed, you should try the demo, if you havent already of course
