Ever since Splatoon 2's weapon distribution system changed a while back, the game has been receiving regular splatterings of four new weapons at a time. The next set is just about to arrive in the game, and we've got all the details for you right here.
The four weapons in question are the Bamboozler 14 Mk II (Sub: Toxic Mist, Special: Burst Rush), the Tenta Sorella Brella (Sub: Splash Wall, Special: Curling Bomb Launcher), the Ballpoint Splatling (Sub: Toxic Mist, Special: Inkjet), and the Explosher (Sub: Sprinkler, Special: Bubble Blower). You can get a good look at each one in these delightful images below.
The new stage New Albacore Hotel will also be going live with these weapons, and all new additions are expected to appear in-game from 9am on 1st July in Japan. We can expect to see the updates appear in other regions at a similar time.

I play pretty often still. Still need to complete all the level of OE and then I want to complete hero mode
I want a new sub. How about a sponge you can throw to use as a platform or barrier?
I like the idea of the ballpoint pen weapon, it makes sense of an ink pen spraying everywhere.
"Are you still regularly strutting your stuff in Splatoon 2?" I would hope so since I only just got it 2 weeks ago! Haven't had a lot of chances to play it, but I definitely like to try all the weapons, including these new ones.
I'm definitely still playing Splatoon. Can't wait to use the new bamboozler, even if it is a less mobile set.
@INKT I believe a new sub was datamined, but I could be wrong. I believe it was a chargeable homing codenamed the Firecracker
EDIT: Actually, it looks like it’s a chargeable bomb that “hops” up and down.
I've only been playing a little but it seems the first two weapons you get in the game are possibly the best anyway.
Give me that Splatling! Though I really need to practice my Inkjet skills. I rarely use weapons that have that, but I guess I found my reason for doing so.

I've been hugely sucked back into it. Though I've been facing the same boss for the past three days straight in single player...
That Explosher is insane! It's shots arc like a slosher but explodes like a blaster (on surface/squid/octo contact), it's the best of both worlds! And they give it Sprinkler and Bubble Blower? I think I just found my new main! (and it still counts as a Sloshing Machine, in a roundabout way) Bless that wonderful Octo technology!
Devs know the power of the Hydra and continue to hold its release back. The moment that new kit comes out, it will likely see some decent competitive play.

@NintenGuy Try the Octo Expansion as well. It's some of the best DLC I've ever played, even beating the original single player campaign.
Still addicted to this gem, still splatting salmonids.
Excited to try the new splatling and slosher. The other two....not so much. Wasn’t a fan of those two to begin with....and seems like the sub/specials are downgrades from the originals. I just can’t wait for the terrible Rank solo play after these are released. Every time new weapons come out, people always wanna test them out in ranked. So now every match is gonna have a bad bamboozler or tenta player in it.
Still no light tetra dualies...
