After reading this I kinda feel like they are working on a 2d metroid (as prime has been said not to be coming soon) especially that surprise line, they might be keeping it secret untill its finished so they can release it soon afterwords, in a situation simaler to Majoras Mask.
I bought lots of eshop games on the 3ds then they decided to put them all on wii u instead. And than the quality of the ones that did make it to 3ds started declining, so i decided to not buy them, its as simple as that, when a company starts to overly support one console and ignore the other i tend to stop caring... also the one they stopped supporting was the one that sold well. I guess it makes sense they can sell the same crappy game on the wii u and charge more for cause its hd or something i guess, Wayforward proved that one pretty quick. A company that makes 8 dollar games thinks they are worth more than twice that on new hardware? If i didnt feel like i was being ripped off by 90% of these indie developers i would maybe by more.
It looks like they took out the wall mechenic from zelda, hopefully not, but it wasnt in the trailer. Another thing, wheres the code name steam dlc? Or more fire emblem amiibos? Ethier way i dont like how its an unfinished game. Wasnt it supposed to be 2015 only? everything was 2016, Also why does nintendo never release games in the summer?
@Quorthon , @MoldyClay87 Please to tell how you would advertise an M rated game about a stripper? How many parents will buy there kid that game? The fact that it got made and is still currently playable on the console is the Nintendo support. Who care if no one but you buys it?
@Quorthon If other companies put the time and money that capcom put into monster hunter, i think they would sell well. But they dont.
@Quorthon Everybody passed on Bayonetta 2. Theres a reason its not on Xbox, if anything you've brought up a good point how Nintendo supported a game when no one else would.
@darkgamer001 Yeah, there are exceptions, but it seems 3rd party developers (especially on nintendo consoles) like the swords and soldiers people go for art over gameplay, or in the case of Affordable space adventure, atmosphere.
Its like Yoshis Island and Yoshis story, they both went for new art styles, but one forgot to put in fun gameplay, ones a classic the others forgotten
@Quorthon The difference is monster hunter evolves as you play it, bayonetta is a brawler, people who like the genre will play it, its pretty niche. And Devils third, in what world would nintendo heavily market a super violent first person shooter (with really generic gameplay most likely). Now whose being deliberately ignorant.
