The Game is still playable. Fact is digital content is not for ever vs Analog ala books, film one even vinyl. Cartridges where good solution back in the day as long the consoles or cartridges itself don’t degrade.

I think we need to be realistic here.
I bet Nintendo has asked around for games to put on their service. With the experience with the Virtual Console, they probably have decided to sale the games themselves for much higher price.
If look, all the gems are available for sale for the Switch.
As long as people are willing to pay for them, why would they give Nintendo the licenses?

I thought players didn’t need or wanted a CoD from Activision, especially after this public issue they had? Interesting change.

I am glad they add a way to organize software that was used in the 90s. I would have liked to see a meta sorting system which could be more flexible.
