@Maxz I am merely comming to the defense of someone that had the same idea i did when i first saw this article. I actually read some of it and got the idea, but since he got attacked for being mislead at a first glance i thought i would support him. This site is known to use "click bait" from time to time, and in this instance i think it was somewhat intended to try and attract more views on a slightly false notion, but then again thats just how i kinda interpret it. Anyhoot

Eg. Man localizes Rune factory 4 using google translate. (first thought would be, "but they already localized RF4, so a fan project is pointless." Usually articles go into the details of the project and if you already know something has been done already you wouldnt care to read into how they localized it.)

Again, i only made a comment because someone else got attacked for having the wrong idea.

On a side note im very much looking forward to the switch, but my main concern is the games they release, as this has been a problem with every console lately. Im not a zelda fan and am tired of "new" super mario games, so things dont look too bright for me...

I think the whole FPS vs. Graphics depends on the game. more casual games could go for graphics while more fast paced action games FPS. Although really i think it depends on what the devs are going for, immersive beautiful world or game play mechanics.

I find this test to be a bit relative to T.V. settings. aside from the resolution and frames. but the lighting people are talking about is very relative.

@JaxonH I like having my PS4 for exclusives and media. eg. Blu-rays, hulu, netflix. Much benefit to having PC and console

@DanteSolablood You people need to stop freaking out about battery life. 4 more gigs of ram isnt gonna make that big of a difference. and besides im pretty sure the switch is primarily a home console, aaaaand pretty much everywhere you go you wont be far from power. (cars, friends house ect.) i hardly doubt you will bring ur switch to sit in the park for 6 hours and play games

@samuelvictor I would be happy with at least 8 gigs for new games. then again if all they plan on focusing on is animal crossing and more "new" super mario bros games 4GB will be fine. But limiting the RAM amount will hinder the system in the long run.

@DanteSolablood Whatever makes you feel better. Remember maybe they can scrape by on 4 gigs now, but do you really wanna have to buy another system in 2 years or less just to play the "new" nintendo switch games? 4 gigs isnt gonna last...

@DanteSolablood @Nintendoforlife I didnt put my foot anywhere, and 4 gigbytes is far from outstanding. I know from years of computer gaming the average RAM usage of specific applications (not the total usage of the system). any high end game on high setting is gonna take around 5 gigs of RAM (for just the game), and you want to have extra RAM so as to avoid performance loss. More RAM means more textures ect. So sure it can play games like skyrim from the 360 era, but have fun getting any high end current AAA games looking good. Then again its nintendo and all we really care about i suppose is animal crossing and super mario. Just disappointed at the continued overlook of high end performance on nintendo's part

4 Gigabytes of RAM isn't hardly enough for anything current gen, unless you're into pixel art. They speak of 4 gigs being double the WiiU as if that means anything. R.I.P. nintendo switch. unless of course this is all baseless rumors.

@samuelvictor Its almost like nintendo minute has a sorta improvisational tone to it....

I dont mean to put anyone down that is excited about this. But nintendo has really messed up with this. They couldve made a really nice stand alone new NES but they limited it to just 30 pre-installed games, which makes the only real value in this the new NES controllers for use with a Wii which has no limit other than whats on the eshop store.
unrelated note: the nintendo minute girl bugs me for some reason lol. She has a sort of absent minded approach to everything they do without putting her heart into anything in the reviews. I guess she just appears fake to me

@TenEighty i went straight to the source nintendo.com and watching their video it actually looks really cool, and one thing im impressed about is they are able to maintain good graphics even when your not playing on the base at home. And while i dont necessarily think the name is stupid i dont think its great. Lately game companies have been very lacking with name creativity. eg. XboxOne, PS4 plus. I think NX wouldve been just fine to keep

@3792M he actually said he hated it, which im sure you've heard before, hate is a strong word lol. basically calling a game bad that everyone here has come to see, while tying to get people to think that other games are better than this one. He was in effect trying to change peoples opinion into what he thinks is better. Imagine if i went onto a pokemon article and said i hate pokemon so im not gonna buy it, but here is a link to yokai watch which looks way better
