Re: Review: Into the Dead 2 - An Overpriced Zombie Shooter That Should Have Stayed Dead

RichyM

As I picked up this game below £10 I would say I am really enjoying this game, it's a fun arcade style game which also has a great story and great content to keep you going. The original price (£35) is a bit much especially when it will get compared to the free mobile version but on a nice sale and with all the content it has that you would have had to pay extra for on mobile it is worth it.

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 13.1.0 Is Now Live - Adds The Switch Online Expansion Pack

I think it's worth the money depending on how much time you think you are going to get out of everything they have given you, in the past I have spent more on games that I have barely touched, so to me its a no brainer, I've been on Mario Kart 64 so far and my ten year old son is playing Gunstar Heroes for the first time and is trying to complete it with the help of the rewind feature.

Re: The World's First Nintendo Switch OLED Model Unboxing Video Is Here

RichyM

I'm still rocking the V1 Switch and as I also have Joy con drift on most of my joycon's I have pre ordered the OLED model. the slightly bigger screen will be great as I play 90% portable and also from owning a PSVIta that had a OLED display the difference in the blacks and colour is also something I am looking forward to experiencing with all my Switch games.

Re: Review: Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure - A Surprisingly Decent Alternative To Mario Kart

RichyM

I love this game so much, the graphics look colourful and crisp plus the amount of content with collectables, cups and different style of races is amazing. You can't compare this to the mobile version as that version has no campaign mode and you can't play the modes you want, It's the best kart racer on the switch (it has more to do in it than Mario Kart) and as the file size is a crazy small 350mb it's going to stay on my switch forever. Great Review

Re: AVICII Invector Encore Edition Launches On Switch Today

I own this on the Laptop but on the strength of the demo I also have ordered this for the Switch, my laptop is not the best and I was interested to see how it ran on the Switch. The game runs great, 60fps and looks amazing. If you like Rhythm games then give the demo a go and see if you like it.

Re: Review: Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix - This Digital Diva Is Perfectly At Home On Switch

RichyM

I own some of the Hatsune Mika games on the PS Vita, 3DS, PS4 and now Switch, The Switch version for me is the best because it is portable so I can stick my headphones in and just play anywhere, it also has a massive selection of songs, yes it would be nice to have the full set like the PS4 does but if you compare it to the other potable versions which had about 30 songs a piece then this version is worth the money. I also love the 'less real' anime look of the characters in this compared to the PS4 version as it fits in well with the feel of the backgrounds and general art style. It's a much needed cheery game to make you feel a little better about the world and things.

Re: Trials Rising On Switch Doesn't Rise Up To The Challenge Of Its Rivals

RichyM

The 'foggy' level that is being complained about in this news feature is actually having the weather effect of a sand storm. You can see sand blowing in the wind!! that is why it looks the way it does. I am happy with what I have played of the beta and will definitely be getting this game, this is the perfect portable pick up and play game for me.

Re: PQube Drops PS Vita Support To Focus On Switch Development

RichyM

I do love my Vita but agree that Sony dropped the ball with some of the decisions they made. having to use their own memory cards which was stupidly expensive was a bad move as in the end I just stopped buying games as I had no memory left and didn't want to delete anything. I also bought a 64gb card which was about £100 and died after a couple of months. It has some great games on it and the Switch does feel like what the Vita should have become with the right support.

Re: Review: Go Vacation (Switch)

RichyM

Well, it's a hit in this household!! while I respect the reviewer for his opinion on this game, it's already been played a lot more than games that I own that have got a higher score so I personally would rate it a lot higher if you have a family. Also the fact that you can use your Mii's in the game is great too.

Re: Mario Kart VR Will Launch In The UK This Summer

RichyM

Just as an idea, I would love it if they made a Labo VR kit and you got this game to play with it. The only problem would be is the Switch screen is 720p so it would be 720 between two eyes which would make it 360p per eye. Still would be pretty awesome!!

Re: Review: Inside (Switch eShop)

RichyM

I was tempted but the price is too high when you can get it cheaper elsewhere, they should have done a bundle where you got it with Limbo for free or some kind of discount for getting both.

Re: Review: Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles (Switch)

RichyM

I also love this game, I like the fact that it has no enemies and you can just wonder around collecting stuff while doing missions. I tend to go for the more action packed type game so this is a welcome breath of fresh air for me. For the amount of time I have played it and enjoyed it I would give it a solid 8 out of 10
